Chapter One- Columbus Ohio
~*~*~
Our story begins in Columbus Ohio. It was a beautiful sunny day, and everything was just peachy. On Dennison Avenue is a beautiful mansion that is owned by a rich family known as the Martins.
The light shown through the window of a bedroom on the second floor, revealing a sleeping figure who was just now awakening. The person is 18 years of age, with short jawline length brown hair and handsome cobalt blue eyes. He was wearing a pair of solid black boxers which showed off is well built figure. He's as muscular and strong as The Rock, and he's an expert martial artist. The forms that he mastered consisted of Jeet Kune Do, Kickboxing, Krav Maga, Kung Fu, MMA and Taekwondo. He also has a pair of blue coloured aluminum nunchucks, a full tang blue katana, and a 6 foot long stainless steel bo staff.
His name is Braedey Martin, and he was ready to take on anything. Braedey lives by the philosophy of Bruce Lee, which he always recites to himself.
"Empty your mind. Be formless, shapeless. Like water. You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle. You put it into a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Water can flow, or it can crash. Be water, my friend." Braedey said out loud, as he got dressed into a blue, sleeveless muscle shirt and black jersey shorts.
Braedey knows that Bruce Lee's philosophy of being like water means to be strong and subtle, yet adaptable to any situation that life can throw at him. He looks at a photograph of himself and his family. His mother and younger sister had left on an unusually long trip, leaving Braedey, his father James and his older sister Karen with a bastich named Roxanne. Braedey hated Roxanne with a vengeance, for she always treats him and his family like slaves. She even wastes her own money on expensive clothing rather than using it to take her SUV to a proper mechanic to have it fixed. Braedey heads downstairs where he is greeted by everyone else he lives with.
"Morning, champ." James said.
There's a reason why James calls his son Champ. It's because Braedey is a legend at baseball. He's the best batter on the Columbus Warriors team because he hits balls so hard, he always gets home runs. And his pitching skills are no laughing matter because his throws are so fast that it is near impossible to hit them. The Columbus Warriors use wooden bats, but Braedey uses an aluminum bat as a token of his prowess at batting.
"You, take out the garbage immediately. And get ready for school." Roxanne ordered.
But Braedey wasn't listening. He calmly got busy making himself breakfast, for he finished school a few months ago. Plus, it was only 7:30 AM. He looks at Roxanne and holds his right arm out with the palm of his hand directed at Roxanne's face.
"Talk to the hand, because the face doesn't wanna listen." Braedey said, as he went back to preparing his meal.
Roxanne did not like this at all. She hates it when people stand up to her and refuse to obey her commands. She storms over to Braedey and grabs a steak knife from the drawer before holding the blade against his throat.
"This is my house, boy. And you will obey me, or you will suffer." Roxanne threatened.
But Braedey didn't show any signs of intimidation. He turns to her and folds his arms over his chest.
"It takes more than a fat old cow to intimidate me, jabroni. So, care to try again?" He asked.
This angered Roxanne even more. The one thing that she hates more than rebellious people in her household, is when those rebels don't give her any signs of intimidation. She likes it when people are afraid of her, and will stop at nothing to get what she wants.
"You, dare to call me a jabroni?" Roxanne asked angrily.
"Yes. Considering I just did. Know your role and shut your mouth, jabroni! You can take your little bitchy attitude, turn that sumbitch sideways, and STICK IT STRAIGHT UP YOUR CANDY ASS!" Braedey answered aggressively.
Roxanne prepared to stab Braedey, but James stopped her.
"I'll take care of it. Braedey, you just carry on with your own business." He said.
Braedey nodded silently before glaring at Roxanne
"Next time, I will knock your teeth so far down your throat, you'll have to stick a toothbrush up your ass to brush 'em." Braedey said.
Everyone else shuddered at these words. The thought of having to stick a toothbrush up their asses to brush their teeth was painful. After breakfast, James took Braedey and Karen to the junkyard to find parts for Roxanne's SUV.
"You're never gonna call her "Mom" are ya?" James asked.
"Not a chance. I'm tired of dealing with that crazy bitch. Next time she threatens me, I'm gonna take her down Know Your Role Boulevard, which is on the corner of Jabroni Drive, and check her directly into the Smackdown Hotel." Braedey answered.
"Damn. I didn't know you could hate someone that much." Karen said.
"I do hate Roxanne that much." Braedey replied tensely.
As they left, James looked at his son. Ever since Naomi left, it has been horrible. Then a smile appeared on his face. Maybe he might make a call or two when he gets home.
Back with Braedey, he found enough parts and headed home. Braedey and Karen ran into Rebecca and her goons on the way back, but Braedey put them into their place. In the two-car garage was where Braedey began working on Roxanne's Lincoln Navigator Ultimate.
But Roxanne had already hidden the parts from him.
"Come on! Are you serious!?" He screamed angrily, before punching Roxanne's SUV hard enough to leave a large dent.
"Are you okay?" James asked.
"No. Like I said. I've had enough of Roxanne. And I'm about to layeth the smackdown on her candy ass." Braedey answered.
Everyone went to sleep for the night. The next morning was Braedey's birthday. He wore a solid cobalt blue t-shirt with black denim jeans.
"You look... Nice." Roxanne said, as she slid a birthday bag to him. "Now open your present, i'm gonna be late for work."
Braedey was excited at first. But that changed when he found out that his present was a pink bicycle helmet with Barbie all over it.
"You have to wear that from now on. I don't care if it isn't the law. It's my law. Besides, look at how cute it is." Roxanne said.
Braedey glared at her.
"You wanna see cute? I'll show you cute." He said.
Braedey smashed the helmet against his thigh with enough force to break it in half and put it onto Roxanne's head.
"There. Ya look better now." Braedey said.
He went outside to take his anger out on a punch bag in the backyard.
"Real smooth, Roxanne." Karen said sarcastically.
"What?" Roxanne asked with feign innocence before scoffing as she got ready for her day
James watched his son mercilessly attack the Body Opponent Bag. Then a wide smile appeared on his face.
He just needed to make a call.
