The next day, after breakfast, Alto immediately retired, claiming he wanted to be alone. Neider just noted that they should start travel tomorrow, so everyone should pack. Vermeil personally agreed to pack for the two of them. When he reached their room, Lilia spoke behind her back.

"Sure. Come in"

This is my Golden Wind!"
Vermeil smiled at the statement, then kneeled to Alto and kissed him long and passionately.
"That's why I love you the most. You take impossible tasks for me and you do it. I'm with you no matter what." she whispered and kissed him again.

After they emerged from the kiss, Vermeil laughed herself off.
"What is it?" Alto asked.
"Can I try what you just did?"
"Sure thing."
"My name is Vermeil and I have a dream. I've lived in loneliness and pain for a long time, but since my summoning I've been trying to make you as happy as I am. I want to spend the rest of my life on your side. But now..."
Then Vermeil pulled her top as her left breast popped out.
"... I want to try all the poses of the Kama Sutra with you. So, let's go to our room and show them that our private training together were not in vain. So go ahead, honey."
Alto laughed and accepted her request. Apparently, both of their desires will be fulfilled. At least... that's how the future shows it.

Meanwhile, in the heart of Ortigia lay a hidden underground building. At the very bottom of it was a throne, where a figure in a red Knight's armour was deeply immersed in her thoughts. Then the gate opened and Heliodor entered it. The dim lights covered their face and much of their shape. The witch woman bowed.
"Report." She said sitting on the throne succinctly. Her voice was beautiful, but also cold. Since she didn't have a helmet on, she could be seen to be a demon because of his protruding horns.
"Yes, Master Oersted. Iloite failed to gain the power of either Vermeil or Belial."
"I understand. That little runt was no further benefit to me anyway."
"But we lost Dark Bahamut as well. Since..."
"It was never his familiar. He got it from me when he walked in, but that beast would have killed him before he could handle it perfectly."

Even the antagonists noticed their steps. Both sides have actually started their game.
