Enjoy this tongue-in-cheek assessment of my characters' swearing habits.

Fred, Sandy, and Marjorie - No. because they are Innocent™

Mordred - No, because he is pure and also way too self-righteous for his own good.

*cue exasperated sighs from me and Laufeia*

Fenris - he's Purer than Mordred and would never say something his older brother considers inappropriate anyway

Laufeia - Y'all she's Laufeia our queen mother and respectability incarnate *gestures to mental image of Laufeia washing someone's mouth out with soap with the same vigor she scrubs her floors*

Jedediah Crayes - knows every rude term in 20 languages, but prefers flippancy, inventive insults, and the moral high ground of being able to scold others. The more persnickety a society is, the more borderline he'll go though because of how much he loves to raise hackles

The Leader/Cern Dersturi - Considerable restraint; he likes manufacturing a self-possessed image for his soldiers. He lets loose on occasion, but I theorize his choices still tend to be of the milder variety.

Berethar - So much self-restraint you could build a dam with it. Disapproves of Jeddy.

Captain Alétun - Is a soldier and swears like one

Fiona - are you kidding this pure child barely uses substitute exclamations and vulgarity is ashamed to look into her face

Mirda - honestly she'd know some really sketchy Fearnish wordand say it just once to get a rise out of her brothers. And then use it in Ceristen where nobody whosoever knows what she means by it, and laugh up her sleeve at the joke

Inspector Dickson - had a really strict upbringing but has also spent twelve years in the law enforcement and it's inevitable that he's picked up the worst of the worst. I sense that he slips up now and then though he tries not to. He does Not Swear In Front Of Ladies.
