Mother Knows a Bad Liar

I really need to stop being late on these updates. Sorry once again. The next chapter will be the sports festival because I can't come up with anything to happen between now and then. Sorry for another rather short chapter. Also, the song above song represents Izuku and his mom when it comes to him being Verde and the whole shy facade he puts on. Izuku is not actually shy- why would he when he nearly dies every other night? He just doesn't want to deal with people. Also, did I mention Izuku is no longer taking classes at the dojo? If I haven't, then please let me know so I can implement that into my story.

It was late into Sunday and the files were all that anyone would talk about. Mei had given the quirk dampening cuffs to Eri (thank god they looked like bracelets), and Mei and Izuku found themselves at the Cafe. It had been decided that it would be best for Eri to stay with Gentle and La Brava for the time being. Somehow, despite the whole police force knowing what Gentle looks like, no one has yet to find where he lives. How he even pays for his home is beyond Izuku.

"I'm just saying that I can't wait for Rojo to test out my gear!" Mei squealed.

"Shh, Mei! Are you trying to draw attention to us?!" Izuku glanced over towards Aizawa and Yamada to make sure they didn't overhear her. "And how many times do I have to tell you that she's not ready? She needs training and time to cool down!" Izuku hissed.

"Oh, sorry. I just got excited about having another Vigilante! I'm sure she'll give Dadzawa a heart attack! Speaking of which, I've been meaning to give you this." Mei handed over a weird looking phone. "This is the Verde Phone. It's untraceable and it masks your voice with the same voice your voice modifier does! Now you can annoy Dadzawa whenever you want!"

"Thanks, Mei. It's much appreciated." Izuku smiled.

Izuku's phone vibrated and he pulled it out. Izuku paled at the notification he saw.

Mom: I know. We need to talk about your hobbies

Mom: Bring Hatsume with you. I have no doubt she tags along with you in your hobbies.

"Shit. She knows." Izuku cursed.

"Who knows?" Mei asked.

"My mom. She knows about me." Verde replied with fear.

"Well, you're dead. I'm going to go work on my babies so everyone can see how awesome they are at the sports festival and then I'll become famous!" Mei cheerfully responded.

"She said you had to come with me." Izuku smiled.

"Aw, man." Mei whined.

"Well, let's not keep her waiting. Might as well face our impending doom." Izuku sighed as he pushed himself out of his chair.

"I can't get out of this and make babies instead?" Mei begged.

"No. You've got to face your consequences as well." Izuku pointed out.

"Dang it. Now I wish I stuck with that idea to build a robot clone of myself." Mei grumbled.

~~~At the apartment~~~
Now, Inko was a smart woman. She was just as smart as she was kind. So, of course, she wasn't blind to her son's activities. She raised the boy for fuck's sake! Did he really expect her to fall for  his excuses? He went on nightly runs in the same clothing every other night! The same clothing Verde wore. And he actually thought he could sneak out the window? Seriously? She wasn't born yesterday! Thank god his teachers at UA were nieve enough to fail for his facade of a shy boy. Otherwise, she'd have problems she didn't want to deal with.
The front door opened and slammed shut. Izuku and Mei's voices could be heard in harsh whispers as they walked down the hall to the living room. As soon as Izuku saw his mother sitting on the couch, he felt as if he walked into the lion's den. Inko was giving him a hard look.
"H-hey, mom..." Izuku nervously chuckled.
"Izuku..." Inko responded.
"I have no idea what you think you know, but I swear it's all a misunderstanding-"
"You're Verde." Inko cut off Izuku. "You've been sneaking out your window the past few weeks to fight crime. Before then, you always went on training runs in the same clothing Verde wears when he fights crime. I raised you. Did you really think you could hide this from me? Izuku, do you have any idea how much that hurt me? Knowing my son knowingly runs into life or death situations every other night, yet doesn't bother to tell me?! I was so worried about you at first! But then I realized I couldn't really stop you and that no one could really outmatch you. But still, it hurts to think you would betray my trust!"
"I- um- sorry." Izuku looked down at his shoes in shame.
"And you." Inko turned her attention to Mei. "I don't know how long you've been aiding my son in his vigilantism, and it hurts that you would help him hide it from me. You'd think as his friend you'd talk him out of Vigilantism."
"I've only known for a few days. Friday was my first time in aiding him. Besides, I can't stop him when he can use my babies to fight crime!" Mei frowned.
"What about that girl you saved? Where is she now?" Inko asked.
"Eri? She's with Gentle and La Brava. We decided that they were the best bet seeing no one knows where they live. That means no villain, hero, or cop can get to her. Mei made her some bracelets to help her control her quirk. She needs love and support. Not a bunch of hypocrites prodding at her!" Izuku explained.
"As long as I get to meet my honorary daughter, I'm fine with that. It's obvious Gentle Criminal and La Brava are good people if you are willing to team with them." Inko sighed.
Izuku choked, "honorary daughter?!"
"Well, yeah! You basically adopted her into our family when you rescued her! Even if Gentle Criminal becomes her dad, she's still a daughter to me! I highly doubt you haven't acted like a big brother towards her yet." Inko huffed.
"She's not wrong. When you brought her in, you practically helped her change clothing then napped with her! You're such a big brother figure for her!" Mei chimed in.
"She was scared and needed someone!" Izuku argued.
"When do I get to meet her?" Inko pressed.
"I-I don't know yet. We need to wait for things to cool down a bit. Hopefully before the sports festival. I'm still trying to get her ready for Vigilantism-sorry, but she wants to be a vigilante like me and I can't change her mind. It would better for me to be with her then for her to be out there on her own." Izuku answered.
"Just be careful. I doubt your teachers will be happy that there are two of you now. What's her codename?" Inko sighed with a smile.
"Rojo. Her name is Rojo." Mei beamed.
"Rojo, huh? I see. so you're both going by Spanish color words. Interesting. So, are you guys team Christmas or something?" Inko teased.
"wha- no! That's coincidental! She wanted red due to her eyes! I wanted green because of my hair! We just so happen to be the colors for Christmas!" Izuku whined as he waved his arms frantically.
Inko smiled at Izuku's embarrassment. Despite becoming a different person over the year, Izuku was still her baby boy.
~~~With Aizawa later at night~~~

Aizawa was grading classwork when his phone vibrated. He was at Yamada's place because the idiot (the guy is a genius, why the hell does he do dumb shit?) refused to leave him be. Why wouldn't he just let Aizawa live in peace? So what if he was severely injured? He could take care of himself! Checking his phone, he saw a message from an unknown number.

Private Number: hey, Dadzawa! It's me, you're favorite Problem Child! I just thought I'd give you the number to the Verde Phone!

Private Number: And yes, it's called the Verde Phone. Deal with it!

Aizawa sighed loudly. Loud enough to make Yamada stop grading his own papers and look over at him in annoyance. "What's wrong this time, Shouta?"

"Freaking Problem Child texting me from the Verde Phone." Aizawa complained.

"Verde Phone? Are you serious? Just why? How'd he even get your number anyway?" Yamada laughed.

"I honestly have no idea." Aizawa groaned.

How'd you get my number, Problem Child?: Eraserhead

Aizawa quickly changed the contact's name before the vigilante replied.

Problem Child: That's for me to know and you to never find out.

Problem Child: How are you doing anyway, Dadzawa? You're not overexerting yourself again, are you? :( I will contact Recover Girl if it comes to it. :)

Aizawa scoffed. Why did he insist on calling him that? Dadzawa? Seriously? And again with the threat of Recovery Girl? Just, why?

I'm fine, you trouble magnet. No need to bother the old lady. And stop calling me Dadzawa! I'm not your father!: Eraserhead

Problem Child: Awww, but you're the closet thing to a dad I have! And besides, you seem to care a lot for me- don't deny it- in a way that screams dad. So you are dubbed Dadzawa! Say hi to Dad Mic for me :)

Problem Child: Oh! Also, say hi to Dadgenium for me! And to Auntie Joke! I haven't seen her in forever! :)

"Problem Child says hi, Dad Mic." Aizawa sighed.

"Dad? Awww, tell him I said hi back and that he better not get himself killed doing something stupid."  Yamada beamed.

... Is every hero a parental figure to you? Present Mic says hi and to not die doing something stupid: Eraserhead

Problem Child: It's not my fault heroes make great parental figures! And tell Dad Mic that you can't kill what's already dead :)

Problem Child: Better yet, let's drag him into this discussion.

Problem Child Added Present Mic to the discussion

Problem Child Changed Present Mic to Dad Mic

Problem Child changed Eraserhead to Dadzawa

Dad Mic: What..? Verde... that's not funny. Are you alright?

Problem Child: I am now that my dads are here! Gasp, do you think Dadgenium would join this group chat?! Auntie Joke would love it for sure!

Problem Child Added Ingenium to the Discussion

Problem Child Added Ms. Joke to the Discussion

Problem Child Changed Ingenium to Dadgenium

Problem Child Changed Ms. Joke to Auntie Joke

Problem Child: Hey, Dadgenium! Hey, Auntie Joke! It's your boy, Verde!

Auntie Joke: Awww, Verde! How's it been? You haven't been getting into any trouble, have you?

Dadgenium: How come Joke gets to be an aunt but I'm a dad? I thought I was the uncle! ╥_╥

Problem Child Changed Dadgenium to Uncle Ingenium

Uncle Ingenium: YAY!!! :D

Problem Child: Hey, Auntie Joke! I haven't died yet, so there's something! And thanks for the concern but I eat danger for breakfast! ^.^

Problem Child: Should I add Detective Naomasa? I haven't really talked to him, but I feel like I should add him. Would he be an uncle or dad?

Leave the poor man alone. He's already pulling his hair out enough trying to deal with your shit. You cause a lot of paperwork for him as it is: Dadzawa

Problem Child: D: Aww, I wanted another adult figure in my life :(

Dad Mic: as much as I love talking to my unofficial vigilante kid, you should go to bed. It's almost midnight, kid.

Problem Child: Aww, you're no fun :(

Problem Child: Night :D

Problem Child Changed Group Chat To Verde's Guardians

Izuku laughed as he left his texting app. he couldn't wait to add the rest of the Verde squad to the chat! But that was for another time.

And finally finished. FINALLY!!!!! WRITING IS NOT EASY :(
