Two of the main registers in my dept have scanners that aren't working so everything has to be manually typed in

There's sale signs up on things that aren't on sale

We're shorthanded and need about two or three more associates

Being shorthanded they decide to put two new associates with me to train...on a Sun during Christmas season

I'm tired af from waking up two hrs earlier than usual since we're opening two hrs earlier and I don't even fall asleep til about two or so hrs before my alarm is supposed to go off at 5:30am

I was sick all night with vomiting and dizzy spells so I wound up sleeping thru my alarm this morn and was 30 min late for work...first time in 14 mos that I've been late

My dept looks like a shit hole and they say "recover when not helping customers" but yet I'm stuck behind a register for 2, 3, 4+ hrs at a time then they have the nerve to say something about how the dept looks...again this goes back to being shorthanded

I'm so over this holiday season 😑
