Welcome To Demise Theory
Okay, okay. I guess I'm putting my theories here, too.
So I guess you've heard about Demise of Hermitcraft Season 6.
And when you died, you were dead. In the end, Mumbo made The Saturator to bring back a player's color. Kinda sketchy, didn't work very well.
Now, here comes my theory.
The Saturator. Weird name. Mumbo could have named it The Aliveonater, or Un-Deadinator. But he didn't. Because that's not what it was.
The Saturator was all a scam. It didn't turn you alive. All it did was color you with some fancy crayons. It was like some invisible children coloring with their fancy crayons on the player like they were the children's coloring book.
What about the bubbly feeling the players got when they were in it? I hear you asking. Simple: some thing I forgot the name of.
The base idea is this: Your kid is 'sick'. They seem fine, but keep pestering you about their tummy ache. You take a spoon from the kitchen cabinet, then fill it with water without them seeing. You walk over to them, saying it's medicine, and put it in their mouth. "I feel better now!" you kid grins and walks off. In beleiving you, it actually changed how they feel.
This is what's happening to the hermits. They expect The Saturator to feel weird. They go in, and the bright colors also play a part in toggling with their brains. They feel weird and bubbly, despite only getting spray- painted and seeing pretty colors with an interesting tune.
Therefore, even after Demise ended and after everyone was correctly recolored, some were still dead. Yes, Zed was still alive the whole time. Iskall lived, too. Stress unfrose herself using favorable magic usage; Bdubs was alive to his steampunk victorian machine.
But everyone else was dead the whole season after that. They were put alive once more due to a new season.
And here I end my intersting theory.
But remember: That's just a theory. A HERMITCRAFT THEORY.
