The topic of todays rant is the "militarization" and "demilitarization"
of the police of the United states.
First of all what is the "militarization" of the United states police, it is when the police gains mil spec weapons, apc's (armored personnel carriers), ect, but what is the reason behind these mil spec items, it's so that the police is better equipped to deal with higher leveled threats such as when a bank robbery occurs and people are taken hostage and similar situations.
But the "demilitarization" of the police is when people who think that the police agencies who have them will use them only for evil when in reality they will only use them when they are needed
