I decided to put this here instead of my random book because to me this is more of a vent...

Well, Mother's Day is a little different for me...I don't really have a mother...the only "mother" I have is my grandma...and of course she reminded me of that this morning...

Then not long ago I overheard my dad (who came to visit today) and my grandma discussing how one of my former stepmom's friends kept calling him and asking him to take my stepmom back...

But of course, no one in my family is letting that happen, including my dad...

As for me, I'm a little indifferent, and it's tearing my heart in half...

Sure, she would beat me when I was in trouble, and sometimes even for no reason...and she lied to me...a lot...but...having a mom like that is better than no mom at all, to me anyway...

...even if I know her kindness was only an act...

...actually, I guess it's for the better she didn't come back...

But...as for all of you...

Enjoy your moms while you can...and if you can't...well...I'm sorry...
