Natasha had landed the Quinjet where the quartet had fought with Y/N, Steve and Tony grabbing a waiting Loki off of the cliff top and gotten back on the Quinjet with Thor now accompanying them. Natasha started to take off "Did you boys have fun?" She mockingly asked them with a smirk.

"Yeah it was great, something tells me we're not gonna be popular with any local nature reserves though" Y/N said with a slight worried look.

"For once we agree on something L/N" Natasha shockingly agreed however her saying that was a little like pulling teeth.

"Enjoy it while lasts Y/N"

"I'm growing on you, Red" Y/N jokes to an unamused Natasha who let out a small chuckle.

"The only thing that's growing is my annoyance" Natasha said back as she turned to look over her shoulder to look at Y/N.

"Your welcome" Y/N bowed

"You two are like an old married couple." Tony joked as he slapped Y/N on the back "It's cute"

"Pffffffft he wishes" Venom quipped to a slightly smirking Y/N.

Natasha was almost sick in the mouth at the mere thought of being married to Y/N. "Stark if you make another comment like that, I will throw you off this aircraft without your suit on." She threatened as Tony threw up his metal arms defensively.

Steve winced slightly as he looked to the heavens and whispered to himself "Why did I have to wake up from that ice?"

Loki had occupied his previous position with Y/N sitting next to him. Thor had sat opposite Loki eager to keep a keen eye on his brother, with Steve sitting opposite Y/N and Tony a little further up from Steve.

Y/N, Steve and Tony had taken off their helmets and masks. "Oh yeah Thor, we should probably introduce ourselves. The fair yet somewhat harsh redheaded maiden is Agent Natasha Romanoff" Y/N introduced as She gave a small wave to Thor which he reciprocated.

"Tony Stark, you've probably heard of me you know Iron Man" Tony introduced himself

Thor who gave him a disinterested look in response and responded "I am not aware of you Metal Man" who had a little bit of a defeated expression which caused Steve to smile a little.

"I'm Captain Steve Rogers" Cap kept it simple as he naturally held his usual professionalism by offering his hand to Thor who shook it with a strong grip between the two.

"Saved the best for last, I'm one Y/N L/N, the badass yet funny and crude loudmouth." Y/N who held out a fist to Thor who looked at it questionably.

"Why do you put your fist out to me, Lord Y/N?" Thor asks Y/N who before he can answer is beat to it by Natasha.

"No, no, no Thor you are not to call Y/N a lord or a sir or anything along those lines. The last thing I want to hear is L/N have anything more to boast anymore." Natasha annoyingly warned Thor as even he looked a little scared by the dangerous redhead.

"Yes Lady Natasha" Thor replied, Natasha raised her eyebrows slightly just because she didn't want to hear Y/N be called that didn't mean she didn't enjoy being called that herself.

Answering Thor's previous question "Y/N's holding his fist out for a fist bump. You just hit his fist with your own." Tony explained

Thor taking in this new information did just what Tony said and hit Y/N's outstretched fist however he did so just a little too hard.

Y/N yanked back his fist after Thor had hit it and looked it to see that the God had broken several boned in his hands "Yeah that's not a bad attempt maybe a little less power next time." Y/N said as he snapped his bones back into place.

"My apologies Y/N" Thor offered as Y/N just shook it off literally whilst Loki just shook his head and rolled his eyes.

'These are the people who are trying to stop me? Pathetic' The god of mischief thought.

A couple of hours later the Quinjet arrived at The Helicarrier and when the aircraft opened they were greeted by dozens of guards waiting to take Loki away.

Y/N put his hand on the restrained Loki's shoulder and started sniffling "Man, my god of mischief is going off to jail. I promised myself I wouldn't cry" Y/N then unexpectedly hugged Loki. Natasha crossed her arms in an unimpressed way whilst the other three looked on at Y/N with disbelief.

"Here we go again!" Venom rolled his eyes and huffed.

"Get your filthy hands off of the Rightful King of Asgard!" Loki ordered,

"It's ok, let it all out. Uncle Deadpool is here." As he deepened the hug on the extremely uncomfortable Asgardian.

"Get this insignificant speck of feculent scum off of me!!" Loki screamed as Thor looked a little bemused that Y/N was provoking Loki as easily as he was.

"L/N let the agents do their jobs" An oncoming Nick requested as he approached the Quinjet.

Hearing his friend's request, Y/N let go of Loki and straightened out his clothes "Go on now and make sure you write." The agents then took Loki away to his presumed cell on board.

Y/N then stepped out of the Quinjet "Look at him go, it seems like it was only a few hours ago we were fighting him in front of a museum"

Steve not quite grasping the joke "We were Y/N" he said matter of factly.

Natasha then put her hand on Cap's shoulder "Just don't Cap"

Y/N then greeted Fury with a bro hug which for the others minus Thor was extremely out of character for the S.H.I.E.L.D Director as Nick discreetly whispered in his ear "Do they know about Venom yet?"

"No" Y/N whispered back before they pulled out of the embrace "You better have my stuff on board, Nick" Y/N audibly asked with a lightly threatening tone.

"Yeah, I've got it. It's in your room. Go and ask one of the agents and they'll show you" Nick informed the eager Y/N.

Turning to the others "That's my cue to leave. Later dickheads" he did the peace sign and left the room.

Natasha, Steve, Thor and Tony all stepped out of the Quinjet to the awaiting Nick "You and Y/N seem to have a strange friendship" Steve said to Fury.

Tony nodded in agreement as he stated "Strange is certainly one word to describe it, you can colour me surprised"

"Yes but I'm glad he's with us than against us otherwise he would cause a shitload of trouble" Nick explains

"Seems like he already does that anyway" Natasha stated

"Be that as it may, L/N shouldn't be a concern Agent Romanoff. Loki is our top priority at the moment." Nick reassured as Natasha quickly regained her focus. She wasn't sure why Y/N was getting under her skin so much, no one had ever had this effect on her before not even people from her troubled past.

Stark then went to his room to get out of his Iron Man suit as the other three went to go and meet with Doctor Banner.

Y/N had not so kindly asked an Agent where his room was to which they fearfully directed him to it when he entered he saw waiting on a desk was a large tub full of

"CHIMICHANGAS!!!!!" Venom yelled gloriously as he came out of Y/N's shoulder as they sprinted with their arms up in the air resembling those of Al Harrington's Wacky Waving Inflatable Arm Flailing Tube men.

Y/N threw his mask on the single bed in the room before opening the tub of chimichangas "Ohhhhhhh still hot........................ You know I'm so glad you embraced my love for these wonderful delights" Y/N said as he grabbed the treat, stared at it for a minute before placing it in his mouth.

"Well you embraced my enjoyment of eating people so it was naturally only fair besides they taste great" Venom said as Y/N threw a treat up in the air for Venom to catch with his long pink tongue before he consumed it with loud chewing.

"Must you chew so loudly, it's just bad etiquette" Y/N complained as he looked over his shoulder.

"Etiquette? What are we doing having dinner with royalty? Besides it's just me an' you besides we've both done way worse stuff than chew a bit loudly" Venom argued calmly back

Y/N tilted his head in a 'eh' sort of way and couldn't help but agree with Venom "Alright, BTW we should talk about revealing yourself"

"Interesting way of putting it" Venom smiled a little evilly at Y/N.

"Wow you're making quips like me, that's some pretty sudden character development from the last chapter." Y/N left his agape in somewhat of a shock before Venom could make a comeback, someone then knocked on the door which caused both Y/N and Venom to look at the door like deer in headlights before back at each other as Venom suddenly re-entered Y/N's body.

"Who is it?" Y/N asked in falsetto

"It's Nick" the familiar voice informed

"Alright come in" Y/N said as Nick came in and shut the door behind him.

"I need you to get up to the bridge with everyone else to discuss what's happening with Loki." Nick said but really it was an order.

Y/N sighed "Fiiiiiiiiiine but I'm bringing these with me." He pointed to his Chimichangas.

"Yeah do whatever you want just get over there, I'm going to chat with our 'guest'" Nick then walked out of the room, shutting the door behind him.

"I can't get a break. All I wanted to do was eat and then fuck off to sleep" Y/N complained.

"Hey at least we'll see Bruce for the first time in a while." Venom offered as a consolation.

Y/N agreed with his symbiotic friend as they got off their bed and went to meet with the rest of team.

Everyone minus Stark and L/N were gathered around the table on the bridge, watching the video feed from the brig. Fury currently explaining what would happen if Loki tried to break out of his cell "Ant, boot."

"It's an Impressive cage." Loki said as he looked around the structure before smiling "Not built, I think. For me."

Fury then tried to subtly threaten Loki "Built for something a lot stronger then you." Loki was chuckling, trying to get under Fury's skin and he was having none of it.

Loki made a 'really' look and strutted about the cage "Oh, I've heard. A mindless beast. Makes play he's still a man." Steve and Natasha looked up to analyse Bruce's reaction. He didn't give much away but from what they could tell he wasn't happy. "How desperate are you, you call on such lost creatures to defend you? Or a flippant degenerate riddled with irresponsibility?"

Fury turned up his seriousness meter to eleven as he walked towards Loki "How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace, and you kill because it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did." Loki didn't seem phased by Fury's threats.

"And you might regret saying that about Y/N if you end up in a fight with him, there's a side to him no one has seen yet." The team were interested into what that meant seeing as Fury said it as if it had a deeper meaning.

"I highly doubt that........... But I have to ask does it burn you to have come so close?/ To have the Tesseract, to have power, unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share. And then to be reminded what real power is." Loki taunted the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D but was still not breaking the stern shell he was encased in.

"Well let me know if 'real power' wants a magazine or something." Fury left, having had enough of Loki and his jabs which admittedly weren't exactly the most subtle. Just after Fury had left, Loki looked up at the camera knowing full well he was being watched.

Bruce looked up from the screen "He really grows on you doesn't he?" He said with a small smile trying to make light of the situation.

Steve got everyone back on topic "Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, what's his play?" Thor himself hadn't watched the video feed, instead pondering on his brother's words alone.

"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard, nor any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the earth, in return, I suspect, for the Tesseract." Thor explained to the others.

Steve looked totally lost "An army ....... From outer space??" Steve said in disbelief with his eyes widening slightly trying to process this information which was difficult especially seeing as he'd only recently come out of the ice.

"So he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for." Bruce theorised

Thor had a surprised look on his face "Selvig?"

"He's an astrophysicist." Bruce said thinking Thor was unaware of the scientist.

"He's a friend." Thor said back to Dr Banner

"Speaking of friends where's my old buddy?" A muffled voice said.

Everyone turned to see Y/N come onto the bridge eating chimichangas off of his katana using the sword as a really long skewer.

"Y/N!" Bruce exclaimed when he saw Y/N.

"Bruce" Y/N exclaimed as well as they both hugged each other which they held for a few seconds. Y/N then got a good look of Bruce.

"Wow, Bruce have you had work done. You look like a completely different person" Y/N said in awe as he gripped both of Doctor Banner's shoulders.

Bruce chuckled "No, I'm the same old Bruce" he responded

Y/N narrowed his eyes "Right" he then muttered to himself "I guess Ed Norton didn't want to be apart of this shit"

Natasha then pointed to both Y/N and Bruce as her lips formed an 'o' shape in confusion "You two are friends?"

Bruce then nodded to Natasha "Y/N here saved me from being found by General Ross, gave me several places to stay over the last decade. He set me up in Kolkata where you came to get me"

"Do you just know everyone Y/N?" Thor asked as he put his arm on the table for support.

"I've been around for a long time Shocky, it's not a surprise I've bumped into a fair few faces." Y/N answered as he took a seat at the table and put his feet up taking another bite off of his makeshift skewer.

Thor looked a little unsure at the nickname "Shocky?"

Bruce chuckled nervously and put his hand on Y/N's shoulder "Please ignore my loudmouth friend, he has a tendency to be rather annoying."

"Is annoyance all I'm known for, not my ability to fuck up any twats at a moment's notice" Y/N complained to which Bruce just shrugged his shoulders "Need to work on my rep then."

"If we could get back to the matters at hand." Natasha suggested to the others who nodded except for Y/N who was continuing to eat "Loki has got Selvig under some kind of spell......... Along with one of ours" Y/N noticed how she looked down at the floor clearly having Barton being controlled by Loki was a tough subject for her. Natasha looked up to see a surprisingly sympathetic look from Y/N.

"I wanna know why Loki just let us take him, he's not leading an army from here." Steve suggested not convinced by how straightforward it was to capture Loki.

"Yeah why is no one talking about how I fucked up Loki in a few swift moves" Y/N complained again

"Not everything is about you L/N" Agent Hill said as she stood cross armed leaning against a metal barrier. Y/N hadn't even clocked her presence until she spoke.

Y/N got up from his seat and strutted over to Agent Hill "Well hello beautiful, I thought I would have noticed a stunner like you. Y/N L/N, you've probably heard of me" Y/N grasped Agent Hill's hand and planted a soft kiss on it "I can already see it now, speaking to our kids - This was how I met your mother" She scoffed at Y/N's advances before she walked over to the opposite side of the room.

"I'd say your chances with Agent Hill just went down by about........... 83 percent" Venom joked as he stifled a laugh even Y/N had to admit that was good even for him.

"L/N! Would you stop flirting with my agents!" Fury barked at Y/N as he entered the room.

Y/N laughs as he jumps straight into a seat "Hey I'm just playing, I'm keeping the atmosphere light and breezy which is what we need right now." Nick gave him a stern look.

"But back to subject I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell crazy on him." Bruce said to get everyone back on track.

"Oh Bruce I wouldn't say that if I was you" Venom stated as both he and Y/N looked at Thor.

Thor looked offended by Bruce's words as he stopped closer to the table "Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard, and he's my brother."

"He killed eighty people in two days" Natasha flatly stated

Thor felt a little stupid admittedly "He's adopted"

Y/N then laughed "Ha that's nothing I've killed more people in a few minutes."

"And eaten" Venom added as Y/N nodded.

Steve then said tentatively "That's not something to be proud of, Y/N."

Y/N put a hand out to stop Steve "Come back to me when you've got a spreadsheet of all your personal best kill streaks."

"He's not joking Captain" Nick said

Thor was extremely intrigued by Y/N "I wish to learn more of you Lord Y/N, there is none quite like you on Asgard."

Natasha then said "I thought I told you not to call him any titles like that."

Y/N had a expression that said victorious expression on his face "Ha no backsies now muscles.......... but in all seriousness I'd be happy to give you the rundown in all things me."

Natasha rolled her eyes "I'm sure you would"

"You're lucky we can't die otherwise I'm sure these people would want to kill you by now" Venom jokingly said to Y/N.

Y/N mentally communicated with Venom "Yeah no shit, but I'm doing my own thing"

"I think it's about the mechanics. Iridium, what did they need the Iridium for?" Bruce questioned

Tony then walked in alongside Coulson "It's a stabilizing agent." He discreetly says to Coulson "I'll fly you there. Keep the love alive." He then started speaking to the rest of the team "Means the portal won't collapse on itself, like it did at S.H.I.E.L.D."

Tony strolled past Thor and gently tapped him on the arm "No hard feelings, Point Break. You've got a mean swing." Before getting back onto Banner's question about iridium "Portal can open as wide, and stay open as long, as Loki wants."

"Science, science, science makes me go sleep, sleep, sleep" Y/N then smashed his head on the table and started snoring.

"Feel free to drag this out Stark so we don't have to hear him talk for a bit" Natasha pleaded with Tony.

Tony and Bruce started bouncing science jargon off of each other whilst the others just listened to them go at it. After theorising about what the Tesseract would be used for Tony and Bruce went to a lab to work on Loki's Chitauri Sceptre.

"Alright dismissed!" Fury said as He, Hill and Coulson spread out to other areas of the Bridge.

Natasha, Steve and Thor stood over the sleeping Y/N "Should we wake him?" Steve asked the others.

Thor went to wake him up by shaking Y/N's shoulder however Natasha quickly stopped him "Lady Natasha, what are you doing? Do you not want Y/N to wake up" he questioned.

"Well not really but if we are I'd prefer to wake him up myself." Natasha said with a devilish sort of grin that indicated bad intentions.

Steve covered his eyes with his hand "This is not going to end well" He said to Thor who couldn't help but agree but alas they let Natasha have her fun.

Natasha went to smack Y/N on the back of the head "Incoming hand" Venom warned the sleeping Y/N and just before Natasha's hand connected with Y/N's head, with ridiculous speed he grabbed Natasha not knowing it was her and slammed her on the table with the impact attractingthe attention of most on the bridge.

Thor and Steve stepped back they were so shocked and how quickly Y/N reacted as he clocked that it was Natasha who was groaning in pain "Sorry Red............... But that was entirely your fault." He let go of Agent Romanoff and stormed out the room.

Steve and Thor helped Natasha to her feet "He has a point Lady Romanoff" Thor said with his eyebrows raised.

"What's your problem with him anyways? You seemed to hate him before he'd even stepped foot on the plane" Steve asked her even Thor was interested in her answer.

Natasha dusted herself off as she had a scowl on her face "You mean besides the obvious. He never takes anything seriously which makes him a liability to what's going on"

Steve was quick to disagree with the S.H.I.E.L.D agent "He may be erratic, loud and unpredictable but in his defense he gets the job done." Doctor Banner then walked back onto the bridge because he had forgotten his glasses.

"What's going on here?" Bruce questioned

"Lady Romanoff thinks that Y/N is a liability to the team" Thor answered

Bruce chuckled ""You'd be surprised, there's more to Y/N than meets the eye............ Not everyone sees that though."

Steve shrugged his shoulders "I agree with Doctor Banner, whatever issues you have Y/N you have to put aside if we're going to win this."

"I'd have thought you two of all people would dislike the fact he's so....." Natasha couldn't muster up the words before she found the perfect one "Him" She fired back at Steve and Bruce.

"I don't necessarily agree with how much language he uses, but I know for one thing that if he hadn't have saved me from those muggers all those years ago...... I might never have become Captain America."

"If Y/N had helped Captain Rogers, Doctor Banner and Lord Fury, he can't be as bad as you think." Thor added.

Natasha huffed as she stormed off of the bridge looking thoroughly pissed off however the guys had given her much to think about.
