This story is the opportunity to expand a bit on some comments that were made by beta readers of either the Quest for High School Mathletic Glory, A Tale of Two Academic Teams, Quiz Bowling Alley, Venomous Agenda Memoirs or ChGK in the Prairie about some plot points, or some characters, that might not be sufficiently fleshed out in the "main" stories they come from.

As a result, they may be read independently from one another; however, some passages refer to specific events. Each sidequest is about a specific character or institution.

Sidequest 1 refers to the quiz bowl postseason in the Quest, the LQBA State Championship as well as the HSNCT as seen through Florence's POV, with a window on the Venomous Agendas debate team.

Sidequest 2 is expanding on an idea set forth near the end of Quiz Bowling Alley, where the US uses the same set of questions for their own Women's Quiz Bowl World Cup high school qualifiers as Russia.

Sidequest 3 is about Voronezh #12, a school in Russia, raising funds for a participation at the SSNCT because of a NAQT technicality qualifying them for the tournament.

Sidequest 4 is about Gaston and Anna, squaring off in a Lincoln-Douglas round in a debate team fundraiser held the year after the main events of A Tale of Two Academic Teams so the VAs can attend the Tournament of Champions.

Sidequest 5, Daisy's Contention Chain, is about Daisy making use of the speed kritik and earning her first ToC bid (which turns out to be her last) at the Columbia Invitational, shutting Detroit Catholic Central (DCC), by then a major rival of the VAs, out of the ToC in the process. It's also a prelude to Sidequest 7.

Sidequest 6, The Neighboring Parish, a multi-part short story, takes place two school years after A Tale of Two Academic Teams and centers around Anna, who is now a senior at the neighboring parish and becomes its star LD debater.

Sidequest 7, Daisy's College Applications, also a multi-part short story taking place two school years after A Tale of Two Academic Teams, centers around Daisy applying to college, and struggles with finding the right fit even when she accepts that Ivies amount to gambling.

Sidequest 8, SAT Studying, a prequel to both Sidequests 5 and 7, is about Rebecca, Anna, Daisy and Albert studying for the SAT.

Sidequest 9, Is Love Stronger Than Debt?, is not only my first attempt at writing romance as a main genre, but also about Luo (the younger brother of Qian, a character in A Tale of Two Academic Teams) who finds out that, while he got into the same university as his girlfriend, Josiane, his potential debt burden forces him to appeal his financial aid award so that his relationship can survive.

Please apologize for any lack of consistency in posting schedules as they relate to sidequest release, real life comes first.

Note: It also turns out the old Sidequest 2, which was about Sadie's first HSNCT run, has been removed by virtue of now being Ch4-6 in A Tale of Two Academic Teams. Therefore all Sidequests written after the old Sidequest 2 have been renumbered.

Also, it appears that the old Sidequest 6 (and later Sidequest 5 after the removal of the old Sidequest 2) is removed as well, because the material in that story has been reused in Ch12-14 in A Tale of Two Academic Teams.

A/N: the second iteration of Sidequest 2, which was about Patricia being introduced to ChGK, has been removed by virtue of now being Chapter 2 in ChGK in the Prairie. In addition, Sidequest 7 was removed now since ChGK in the Prairie is now completed.
