It's been a day after the whole Venom vs Riot incident and you still haven't been yourself. Losing Venom really broke you and you felt all alone, but luckily, you had Eddie. Speaking of you and Eddie, you two were sitting on the steps into his apartment complex talking about the other night. "Thanks for sticking by me Eddie, thanks for saving me." You said exhausted from last night. "So, how are you feeling after all that?" Eddie asked you. "I feel great, awesome even. I'm thinking of suing though. You wanna prosecute?" You asked, hugging your knees. "You're in luck. My ex-wife decided to work probo now. She's joining the public defender's office." Eddie said, sipping his latte. "Your wife must be a good person. What about you? What are you gonna do Eddie?" You asked. "Uh. The network asked me to bring the show 'Brock News' back and they wanna start with the piece on Drake." Eddie said. "Wow, and what did you say?" You asked as you looked at the people walking by and looked at you guys weird. I guess they must be concerned that an underaged girl is hanging out with an adult man. 'Seriously. When will people realize that age is irrelevant?' You thought. "Oh uh. I'm not into it. I wanna concentrate on a written word. I scored the interview of a lifetime." Eddie said. "Oh yeah? Who?" You asked. Eddie then put his hand on your head and started ruffling your hair. "You're gonna have to read it." Eddie said teasingly before letting go of your hair. "Ooo. Like everyone else." You said fixing your hair. "Yep. Hey. I'm sorry about Venom." Said Eddie. "It's ok. I bet you miss him too. You guys must have been good friends." You said. "Friends?! More like a parasyte! You know how many times he would make me eat trash?" He explained as you started to laugh. You then looked at your phone and was surprised at the time. You then got up and put your phone back in your pocket. "Oh shit. I have to get home. My mom hasn't seen me all day yesterday. She must be worried." Eddie then walked next to you and put his hand on your shoulder. "I'll walk you home kid." He said as he started to walk ahead of you. "Eddie, you don't have to walk me!" You argued. "It's fine. Just tell me where you live." Eddie said. You gave in and led the way.

Once you got home, you saw your mom standing outside frantically looking left and right. "Mom!" You said as you ran up and gave her a big hug. "(Y/n)! Where have you been?! I was so worried!" You mom asked. "Mom. It's ok. I was just with-" Before you could say anything, your mom cut you off as she saw Eddie behind you. "Eddie? Is that you?" Your mom asked. "Wait? (M/n)?" (Mothers name) You were very confused. You didn't expect your mother to know who Eddie was. "Mom. How do you know Eddie?" You asked. "He was my best friend. I knew him since college but after we graduated, I never saw him again." She said. "Wait. What happened to Jackson?" You asked. "I kicked him out. He was a real asshole." She said "So, (M/n), how have you been?" Eddie said as you noticed that he was blushing. "Look at him. He has no idea that he is catching feelings for your mother." You started mentally freaking out. "Holy....shit.." You said trying not to scream. Eddie then noticed that you weren't  looking well. "(Y/n)? Are you okay?" He asked. "Y-Yeah everything is f-fine." You said stuttering. "You belong with us Eddie." You then started to sweat a little, still trying not to freak out. "(Y/n). Are you sure?" You had to come up with an excuse. Fast. "I-I just remembered I had to get something from the store. I-I'll be right back!" You said as you started running. Eddie then turned to look at your mom. "Your daughter is kinda weird."

"Holy shit! How are you here!?" You yelled as you kept on walking away from mom and Eddie. "I will always come back to you. Sexy~" He said before you rolled your eyes. "Listen. I have absolutely no problem with you sticking around, but if you do, we're gonna have to have some ground rules, all right? You cannot just go around eating anybody that you want to." You said. You then saw people looking at you weird. Probably cause you were talking to yourself. So you took out your phone and pretended that you were talking to someone on a call. "I cannot?" Venom asked. "No, you cannot. All right? We need to...We need to reiterate this. There are good people in this world, a lot of them. And then there are bad people. You have to tell the difference. The deal is, you will only ever be allowed to touch, harm, hurt, possibly, very possibly, eat very, very bad people, but never, ever, ever good people. All right?" You asked. "Fine, but how does one tell the difference?" Venom asked. "Well, it's super simple. I mean, you just have to like...You can intuit it, you can sense it. Sometimes you can even feel it. Got it?" You asked him to make sure he got the message. "Whatever you say baby. But can we get something to eat now? Otherwise, your liver is starting to look really, really good and juicy." Venom said with a serious tone. "Y-Yeah definitely. I know a place down here." You said as you looked to your right to see a restaurant and started walking inside. 

Later that night, you went to a convenience store to buy some snacks and you already knew the owner of that store. "Hey, Mrs. C." You said walking in. "How are you doing, (Y/n)?" Mrs. Chen asked. "Ain't nothing changed but the weather. You know." You said walking towards the shelfs. "No." Mrs. Chen said. You looked back at her and smiled at her comment. "So, what culinary delights will tickle the pickle tonight?" You asked Venom. "Tater Tots and chocolate." Venom answered. "Right. Ok, no problem." You said walking to the freezer area to look for the tater tots. Before you could grab anything though, you heard a voice in front of the counter at the register. "The payments due, Chen." You looked to where the voice was coming from and it was a man with a gun in his hand. "Please. I can't keep doing this." Mrs. Chen said in a frightened tone. The man then pointed the gun at her face. "Now." He said. You saw this man before the last time you came here. 

(Flashback to before you met Venom)

You were getting tired of dad yelling at your mom all the goddamn time, so you decided to buy some snacks to make you feel better, considering you got punched in the face by your dad the other day. You walked in and greeted the lady at the counter. "Hey. Mrs. Chen." You said "How are you doing, (Y/n)?" She asked. "Ah, aches and pains, you know, aches and pains." You said walking past her. She then looked up and saw your condition. "You look like shit." You turned around with a confused look. "Excuse me?" You asked. "You look like shit." She repeated. "And you look as beautiful as ever. Jesus." You said sarcastically as you walked away. "Mind is body, (Y/n). Have you been meditating like I showed you?" Mrs. Chen asked. "No, I have not. And it does not work." You said back. "It doesn't work, because you don't give it a chance." Mrs. Chen argued. "No, It doesn't work, because I bought a DVD from your cousin, and it was in Mandarin." You argued back. Mrs. Chen then started saying something in a different language. "Yeah, I don't understand that, either. See, that right there, I don't understand what you said. That is the problem." You said as you slightly raised your voice and walked away. As you walked away, you heard a male voice at the counter, so you turned around to see what was happening. "Bottle of Whiskey, and don't forget my change." You saw that Mrs. Chen was intimidated by this man, and it got even scarier for her when he then pointed a gun at her. "Let's go. Before the price goes up for my protection. The full payment is due. Now." You then quickly turned the other way avoiding conflict and hid behind one of the shelfs, watching from afar. You wanted to do something, but you didn't have the guts, bravery, or strength to do it. "Make sure you have my money ready, Chen. I don't like to wait." Mrs. Chen gave the man his money and his Whiskey and so he left. You came out of hiding and placed your snacks on the counter while looking at Chen with a sad expression. "Life hurts, (Y/n). It just does." Chen said while scanning your items. You nodded in response. She then handed you the items with the receipt and change. You took the bag and receipt but you told her to keep the change and left.

(End of flashback)

Now that you had Venom by your side, you weren't gonna stand on the sidelines and do nothing. "Bad guy, right?" Venom asked. "Yep." You said and let Venom talk control. While Mrs. Chen was pressing the buttons to open up the register with a gun pointed at her, Venom grabbed and twisted the guy's arm causing him to drop his gun. The man looked to see Venom right in front of him with a frightened expression on his face. This also causes Chen to face her attention to Venom. "You come in here again...In fact, you go anywhere in this City, preying on innocent people, and we will find you and eat both of your arms and then both of your legs. And then we will eat your face right off your head. Do you understand?" The man started shaking his head 'no' in fear and the only thing that came out of his mouth was, 'please...' "Yes. So, you will be this armless, legless, faceless thing, won't you? Rolling down the street, like a turd in the wind? Do you feel me?" Venom asked. "What the hell are you?" The man asked. Venom then revealed half of his face to show half of your face inside him. "We are Venom'' You both said as Venom then covered you back up. "Oh second thought..." Venom said. The man was about to say something, but Venom ate him whole. Mrs. Chen watched in horror as Venom went back inside you, revealing your normal form. "(Y/n)? What was that?" Mrs. Chen asked. "Oh..I have a parasite. Yeah. Night, Mrs. Chen." You said before you left the store. Once you and Venom were outside, he had a fit. "Parasite?!" Venom yelled. "Yeah. It's a term of endearment, that's all." You said, but Venom was not having it.
