09 - In Disguise
SONG REC: "RED LIGHTS" - STRAY KIDS (BANG CHAN, HYUNJIN)

Lee Know walked around the living room with all the members seated on the couch. Yun sat on the edge of the couch with Felix on her right, and they rushed in a game of rock-paper-scissors while waiting for Lee Know to set up the plan on the whiteboard.
He clapped his hands to call for everyone's attention. "The bar and strip club belong to Gang Mvsk. For this, we're targeting the boss. And we're going to have Yun enter in disguise as a stripper."
The members all casted uneasy glances at her. She stared at her lap to avoid their eyes, and Felix placed his hand on her knee.
Felix raised his other hand. "Did Yun agree to this?"
"Yes, Felix," said Lee Know, calmly meeting his gaze, "I came to her first and spoke with her about her limits on a mission." He met every single member's eyes, daring them to doubt his respect.
"I won't need everybody, just Felix and Changbin. You guys will have to fake being clients. Once Yun is invited into a VIP room with the boss, J. Kon, we set off smoke bombs, kill everybody, and blow the place up as Yun kills him. You two will leave, I'll check up on Yun, and we'll meet up at the base after you guys. Got it?"
Everybody nodded.
"Dismissed." Lee Know went back into his room and chattering filled the room. The members were obviously all worried about the mission, despite only needing four people.
"You know, I'm glad," Yun said, out-of-the-blue. "I was really lonely out there, and now, at least, I have friends, and really good ones too."
"Who?" Hyunjin asked, with his eyebrows furrowed.
Changbin smacked him. "Us, dumbass."
"Oh." He scratched his head.
The members laughed and went over to Yun. They affectionately patted and hugged her, cheering her on for her new mission.

Yun gave the boss a small smile, trailing her fingers across the desk suggestively. She was at a job interview, and J. Kon himself was interviewing her. He was built like a taller Changbin, which meant he was tall and buff. He also wore a suit with not a single wrinkle on it. He oozed money.
It would be easy to kill him now, she thought. But she had to wait so that Stray Kids could take down more enemies while she was performing. J. Kon also had bodyguards all around him and outside the door. Any sudden moves would have her horribly injured or dead.
She leaned forward and licked her lips, making his eyes flicker to her chest and then her lips. "So," she began, "I'm physically strong, and I'll do anything if you pay me enough. I also learn very quickly and have no boundaries."
"You're also very pretty," J. Kon murmured. "Although, the eye patch..."
Her fingers itched to adjust her eye patch, but she forced her fingers down onto her lap. "My eye patch is an asset, trust me. You don't see any other girls with eye patches. It makes me look...intimidatingly pretty. Like somebody a man wants to own." She gagged at her own words.
"You make a good argument." He smiled and offered her a tattooed hand. There were rings on nearly every finger, and one of them had Gang Mvsk engraved on it. "You're hired."

For the next couple of days, Yun practiced and did the occasional short performance. She quickly picked up pole-dancing due to her physical ability, and learned the other parts of being a stripper from her old...job.
The women who worked here all made her feel very supported. She bonded with Rei the way she bonded with Felix, and the others the way she bonded with the rest of Stray Kids. They let her borrow stuff and gave her plenty of tips, and boosted her confidence overall. Yun loved them already.
The way men stared at her made her whole body itch, but she performed for them like they weren't there. Like she wasn't being judged based on her body alone, and she wasn't wearing a too-revealing outfit.
She performed as if Stray Kids were cheering her on. As if Felix was calling her a queen, Han was jokingly throwing money, and the others were worrying about the younger members. As if Lee Know was watching her.
The night went by quickly after that.
When she was done taking all the money off the floor, she had to admit that she felt pretty good. Men were idiots, but these men were rich idiots. The girls in the back helped her clean up and complimented her on her performance. Being a stripper wasn't the problem, but the people who took advantage of them were.
She went around the club, offering the usual services. Lap dances, flirting, etc. The heels she wore were heavy, and her respect for strippers grew even more. Pole-dancing was exhausting, but the girls were so nice to her despite feeling cranky.
When she got home, she collapsed on the couch. The members all came out to check up on her, and she held back tears.
"You okay, Yun?" murmured Felix, enveloping his small hands with hers.
Han sent her a small smile. "You're amazing."
All the other members gave her compliments to cheer her up. Lee Know stood in the back, with his arms crossed.
She rubbed her eyes aggressively, hoping that the tears wouldn't flood. "I'm so tired. And I had to touch a lot of people tonight. And I'm so–"
Felix wrapped her in a tight hug. "You did good, sweetie."
Everybody but Lee Know joined in on hugging her. She choked back tears as her heart swelled. If this was what a real family felt like, she could see why people stayed at home.
When the others started heading back to their own rooms to sleep, Lee Know sat down beside her. She had her face tucked into her knees, shaking with hands on her ears.
"Can you still do it?" he asked gently. He put a hand on her back and rubbed up and down soothingly.
She tilted her head up to look at him. "Yeah," she said weakly. "It was just...scary. All the touching and just feeling like my body was being sold."
He nodded. "I won't be mad if you decide to back out of this. It's okay to say that you can't or don't want to do it."
Her whole demeanor changed, as if she was toughening herself up. "I told you before. I can do this. I do this for Stray Kids. I do this for me. And I do this for –well, I do this for you, too. So let me finish the job."
"You sure?"
"Yes."
He patted her head. "That's my girl."
She bit back the smile wanting to reveal itself. His girl.

She packed her things up and waved goodbye to the other women. It was the night before the planned assasination of J. Kon. As she left the club, the boss himself stopped her with a hand on her shoulder.
"Be careful, darling," he whispered. "There's a lot of gangs out there right now."
She forced a smile. "I know. I'll be careful."
J. Kon gripped her shoulder tighter, making her tense. "And if you know anything about a gang, for example, Stray Kids, make sure to tell me, okay?"
Yun nodded and shoved his hand off. "Yes, sir. Now, good night. I have to get home. Immediately."
He backed off, but the strange gleam in his eye haunted her the whole way home. And the way he gripped her shoulder...she shivered. Why did he mention Stray Kids out of all the gangs?
She shook it off. Stray Kids were just the most popular gang. There was no way he could know she was a part of them.
