" Really Artemis? You are hugging someone who is capable of harming you!", the guy named Jace growled glaring at me which made me glare back at him.

Artemis also seemed to be offended and started to yell at Jace in her native tongue.

" No stai zitto! Smettila di comportarti così! Dio Jace, non puoi farti gli affari tuoi e lasciare in pace gli altri! È stata torturata abbastanza!"

( translation: No shut up! Stop acting like this! God Jace can't you mind your own business and leave others alone! She's been tortured enough!)

Whatever she had said seemed to make him angry. Very angry.

" Non sai nemmeno chi sia! Potrebbe essere una spia, parte di un'altra banda o peggio! Smettila di abbassare la guardia!", Jace yelled back.

( translation: You don't even know who she is! She could be a spy, apart of another gang, or worse! Stop letting your guard down!)

Artemis and Jace glared at each other, both not willing to give in and admit they were both in the wrong in a way.

Artemis only looked away when her parents came down with unamused expressions on their faces.

" Artemis, Jace, entrambi smettete subito di combattere!", the father ordered his tone radiating authority and power.

( translation: both of you stop this fighting at once!)

I decided to stop pretending I didn't know what they were saying.

I took a deep breath and began to speak. "Mi dispiace per gli eventuali disagi causati mentre ero qui. Sono andato a cercare Artemis perché mi aveva salvato prima e lo ha fatto di nuovo. Io andrò ora".

( translation: I'm sorry for any inconvenience I have caused while being here. I went to find Artemis because she had saved me before and she did it again. I will go now)

Everyone in the room turned toward me and stared at me in shock and disbelief which made me pretty nervous.

Katelynn took a step forward and smiled softly. " Sai tutto quello che abbiamo detto?"

( Translation: You have known everything we have been saying?)

I nodded. " Si".

Katelynn nodded once before sending Artemis back upstairs. Artemis gave me one last quick hug before leaving.
