New York Manhattan, A Beautiful City and The Urban Core Of New York Metropolitan is the most densely populated of the five boroughs of New York City. It's mostly made up of Manhattan Island, bounded by the Hudson, East and Harlem rivers. Among the world's major commercial, financial and cultural centers, it's the heart of "the Big Apple." Its iconic sites include skyscrapers such as the Empire State Building, neon-lit Times Square and the theaters of Broadway.

It also is the New Beginning for Martha Ambrose and Her Son Alex Ambrose. They recently moved to Manhattan since Martha wanted a fresh start with her Son as They were moving in to their new house.

Right now Alex moved in the last two boxes inside the house as he was setting up the coach as her mother sat down as she was holding her forehead as she was tired.

Martha: Is That All?

Alex: Yeah that's all.

Martha: Let's just rest up for some time. You also must be tired.

Alex sat down next to his mom as she noticed Alex was feeling different as she hold his hand.

Martha: What's the matter?

Alex: Nothing.

Martha knew Alex didn't like the idea of moving to New York. Martha placed her hand on Alex's shoulder as she was talking to him.

Martha: I know You dont like the idea of moving to a new place but listen to me, This is a fresh start for both of us.

Alex: I dont know Mom. I'm not used to this.

Martha: Look Honey. We'll adjust somehow. The Reason I planned this is because I want the best for you. I want you to be happy.

Alex:......

Martha: You know I'm always there for you. Remember that.

Alex: Thanks Mom. I'll also try my best in adjusting to this New Beginning.

Martha smiled at Alex as she kissed his forehead and hugged him as Alex hugged her back until they decided to unpack everything.

Things weren't easy for Alex and Martha. Alex lost his father when he was eight years old. His Father was a police captain who has a strong sense of justice until he was killed in a shootout. Ever since then it traumatized both Alex and Martha. Despite Martha doing whatever she can to raise Alex by herself. Alex on the other hand was an anti social and avoids making friends.

After they finished unpacking everything and looked at their house again. They sat down on the dinner table where they began eating dinner.

Martha: You better wake up early Alex. Tomorrow is your first day in High School.

Alex: You got it chief.

Martha laughed at Alex's joke as His son was staring at her and gave a smile to her.

Martha: I also have to be ready tomorrow. Tomorrow's my day as a Nurse.

Alex: Goodluck Mom.

Martha: Thanks Sweety. Goodluck to you too.

They finished dinner as Alex cleaned the dishes and went to his room as he was reading some books until he felt exhausted as he laid down on his bed and fell asleep.

Alex was fixing his shoes as he grabbed his bag as he was looking at his outfit through the mirror.

Alex grabbed his phone as he put it in his pockets and went downstairs as he saw his mom getting ready.

Martha: Bye Alex.

Alex waved bye to her as he left the house as he opened his phone and looked at the location of his high school as he began sighing to himself.

Alex: This is gonna be interesting.

Twenty Minutes Later

Alex made it to his new high school as he was looking at the place as he went inside the school and looked at the schedule where the first class was Chemistry.

Alex began making his way to Chemistry Class as he made it their and took his seat as he saw some jocks bullying some people as he continued staring at them until some students began entering the class until the teacher showed up.

Chemistry Class ended as Alex left the classroom and began attending other classes as he was looking at the school atmosphere. It had the typically Popular guys and girls along with Jocks and Geeks. Alex didn't mind at all as he began taking notes in Physics Class.

It was now Lunch Time as Alex was eating until he noticed a jock showing off to some students as Alex ignored him and continued eating while reading a book.

School day ended as Alex was stretching out as he walked out of the school as he continued walking until someone was calling his name.

Unknown: Hey, Wait for a second.

Alex stopped as he turned around and saw someone running towards him as he stopped and looked at Alex.

Unknown: *Smiles* Hey there.

Alex looked at the man as he put his hand out as Alex shook his hand as he was smiling at him.

Unknown: You must be the new around here. My name's Harry Osborn.

Alex: Nice to meet you Harry. I'm Alex Ambrose.

Harry: Its nice to meet you too Alex. I noticed you were avoiding people and I just wanted to talk to you.

Alex: I just-

Harry: Your an introvert. I had that feeling.

Alex: Alright then.

Harry: Well Alex. You dont need to be alone anymore. I can be your best friend.

Alex: Really?

Harry: Yeah. I know we can be best buds and besides Maybe You and I have somethings in common.

Alex: Alright then Harry. You can be my friend.

Harry: That's great bro. Here's my phone number. Call me anytime or Text me.

Alex: Alright. Thanks again Harry.

Harry: Your Welcome Alex.

Harry left as Alex was staring at him leaving as he looked at Harry's number as he saved his number and began walking as he saw a cafe and went inside as he ordered some coffee and began drinking as he saw police cars driving somewhere as he knew there was an incident.

Alex payed for the coffee and left the cafe as he began walking back home.
