Alex along with Harry, Flash, Liz and Gwen were at High School as They were in chemistry class as Alex was writing some notes along with Harry, Gwen and Liz as Flash wasn't paying attention as he was taunting some students as The Teacher was scolding him.

The School day went by peacefully as it was the final class which was Physics Class as Alex was thinking about talking to Gwen after school about her work at Oscorp. School day ended as Gwen was exiting the school through the main gate until Alex called her as she stopped and smiled at him.

Gwen: Hey Alex.

Alex: Hey Gwen. Where are you going?

Gwen: I'm going to Oscorp. I have some work that I need to finish.

Alex: I see.

Gwen: Do you need anything?

Alex: Well i was wondering if i can help you with your work.

Gwen: I appreciate it Alex but I can handle it.

Alex: Sure? I mean I can help you.

Gwen was smiling at Alex as he was smiling at her back as she looked at him.

Gwen: Look Alex. I really like how helpful and supportive you are but the work I'm doing is top secret.

Alex: Top Secret?

Gwen: Yeah and Not even Flash, Liz or Harry know about this.

Alex: I see.

Gwen: So Yeah Alex. Again I appreciate your concern but I got this.

Alex was looking at Gwen as She continued talking to him until Alex had something to say.

Alex: Look Gwen. I know its top secret and all but you can trust me. I wont tell anyone.

Gwen was thinking about it as Alex was waiting for her answer as she was fixing her hair until she had something to say.

Gwen: Alright then. I'll show you around but remember you dont tell anyone about this.

Alex: Sure.

Gwen: Meet me at Oscorp around Eight PM. I'll be waiting for you.

Alex: Got it.

Gwen smiled at Alex as she left as Alex saw her leaving as He saw Flash, Harry and Liz approaching him.

Liz: What were you two talking about?

Alex: Homework.

Flash: Come on man. Your so boring.

Harry: Let them do what they want man. Hey Alex. Tomorrow We're gonna go out for dinner. You free Tomorrow?

Alex: Yeah I'm free tomorrow.

Liz: Great. We'll text you the details.

Flash: And dont come late geek.

Alex just stared at Flash as he pushed past him as Liz apologised to Alex as she followed her boyfriend as Harry and Alex shared a bro fist before they went their separate ways.

A Few Hours have passed as Alex was sitting on the coach as he was looking at the TV Screen which showed the news as he looked at the time and it was Seven Thirty One PM. Alex stretched out as he put on his hoodie jacket as he exited his Apartment until Ursula stopped him.

Ursula: Hey. Going somewhere?

Alex: Yeah. Just some small work that's all.

Ursula: Oh okay then. Come back early. I'm gonna make dinner and I want you to eat some.

Alex: You-

Ursula: Come on. Your my friend now and I want you try some out.

Alex: Fine. When I come back. I'll have some dinner.

Ursula: Great. See you Alex.

Ursula went back to her apartment as Alex fixed his jacket as he left the complex and head straight to Oscorp.

Oscorp Tower( Eight PM)

Alex made it to Oscorp as he went inside the tower and saw Gwen waiting for him as she smiled at him.

Gwen: Right on time. Let's get going.

Alex: Sure

Gwen smiled at him again as Alex was following her until they went to an elevator as it went down as Alex was looking around until the elevator stopped as both of them exited the elevator as Gwen showed her ID to the scanner and it opened a door as Alex saw multiple scientists working on certain projects as Gwen looked at him.

Alex: Secret Lab?

Gwen: You guessed it.

Alex saw a holding cell as Alex went towards the cell as he was looking at it until someone came out as Alex saw what it was.

Alex: What the?

The Monster growled in anger as Gwen pushed him back as She looked at Alex.

Gwen: I guess you saw what we're working on.

Alex: That's a Giant Rat. How is that possible?

Gwen: That Monster used to be a man. His name is Doctor Robert Weldon. Do you know Cross Species Genetics?

Alex: Yeah. if we join the DNAs of two different species, a new species will developed.

Gwen: Right. Last year. When Conners used a lizard serum on himself to grow his arm back. He Turned into a Lizard Monster and went on a rampage. Robert who is conners friend spent three days trying to make a antidote and used it on a rat until that rat mutated and bit Robert. Robert then turned into that thing.

Alex: Damn but can you cure him back?

Gwen: No. The Virus mutated completely and we can't cure him anymore.

Alex looked at the monster as The Monster was looking at Alex until its eyes were widen as it began growling at Alex as The Scientists along with Gwen were confused.

Scientist: Why is the subject angry?

Scientist: Sedate it. It's going crazy now.

Alex: *Thoughts* Looks like that monster sense the symbiote in my body.

Venom: Let's get going Alex.

Gwen: I wonder why that thing was agitated?

Alex: Probably It wants cheese?

Gwen: Very Funny Alex.

Gwen and Alex continued walking until they saw another holding cell as they saw what it was.

Alex: Iguana?

Gwen: Yeah. Another one of Conners work. After he left his serum on the ground. An Iguana took some of the sample and mutated to that.

Alex: I see.

The Iguana looked at Alex as it growled at him before it went back as Gwen was staring at him.

Gwen: Why is it so angry towards you?

Alex: Maybe it hates visitors?

Gwen: it never did that to any of the scientists.

Alex: Probably its scared of something.

Gwen: Probably.

Gwen and Alex continued walking until Alex saw a Huge Aquarium as he was staring at it until something hit the glass.

Alex: Hmmmm.

Gwen: That's one of Doctor Stromm projects. He calls it Nattie.

Alex: Nattie is a scientific name for a Piranha which is Pygocentrus nattereri.

Gwen: You guessed it. You get a cookie for that.

Alex: Thanks.

Alex and Gwen were gonna continue exploring until Alex saw something as he was confused.

Alex: Robots?

Smythe: One of my finest works.

Alex and Gwen turned around and saw Smythe staring at them as He spoke to them.

Smythe: I thought Mister Osborn told you to not bring any visitors.

Gwen: I-

Alex: Sorry. It's my fault. Don't blame her for anything.

Smythe: No worries. I guess you seen everything huh?

Alex: Yeah. Your gonna plan on keeping those monsters for something?

Smythe: No. I'm gonna eliminate them.

Gwen: What? I thought Mister Osborn-

Smythe: Miss Stacy. I know what he said but think about it. If those monsters broke out. They might do an outbreak worse then what conners did to this city one year ago.

Alex: But Maybe There's still a chance to cure them.

Smythe: Its been a year now Alex. We're creating more problems then solutions. I'm having a talk with Norman tomorrow. I'm ending this once and for all.

Smythe was gonna walk away until he had something to say.

Smythe: And Dont worry Alex. Your not in trouble same with Gwen. Also it also doesn't matter if you tell anyone about this because these cross species are gonna go extinct.

Smythe walked away as Alex and Gwen looked at each other as she sighed in relief.

Gwen: Atleast I'm safe. Same with you. You should go now Alex. I'm okay by myself.

Alex: Got it.

Gwen escorted Alex out of Oscorp as Alex was walking until he got a message.

Ursula: Your coming for dinner?

Alex: Yeah. I'll be there in fifteen minutes.

Ursula: Great. I hope you enjoy it.

Alex: No worries.

Alex was gonna walk until he got a message from Gwen as he looked at it.

Gwen: I need you at Oscorp tomorrow.

Alex: What for?

Gwen: Just come to Oscorp tomorrow at Nine PM. I'll be waiting for you.

Alex: Alright then. Also you coming for dinner tomorrow?

Gwen: Oh yeah. Harry texted me about it. Yeah Dinner is on Eight so we got some time to spare.

Alex: See you then.

Gwen: You too.
