INFECTED POPULATION: 507,432

Alex was navigating the hunter robot through the sewers as he began hearing loud growls deep into the sewers. Gwen already navigated the other robots to spread the antidote to every hospital in the city as The Nightmare was going end soon.

Alex was moving through the sewers as the hunter was scanning for cross species until Alex heard loud growls as he looked above him and then....

The Lizard tried to hit Alex but he punched him before both of them fell off the hunter robot. The Demon and The Lizard crashed down into a abandoned subway as Alex saw the destroyed hunter robot.

Alex: I need to break through the scrape to find the serum.

The Lizard was staring at Alex as he began talking to the monster.

Alex: Dont try and stop me from turning you back. Now any last words from the lizard before I get my friend back?

The Lizard growled at Alex as he was staring at it. The Lizard tried use its tail to whip the demon but he dodged the attack as Alex was talking to the lizard.

Alex: The Toughest Fights are the ones that are closest to us.

Alex: I know your in there Curt and I need you to stop. I'm not sure how much more either one of us can take.

The Lizard hit another pounce attack on Alex as he began using its claws and stabbed Alex in the heart as he was trying to break free. The Lizard began wrapping its tail around Alex's neck as he began suffocating him.

Alex managed to break free as He hit a impact webbing on the Lizard as it was stunned before Alex hit another move on the monster.

The Lizard was down as Alex continued searching for the cure until he found it but The Lizard attacked Alex from behind as he began bashing his head on the ground before he picked him up and then....

Alex was holding his back as he put the cure in his pockets. The Lizard pounced on Alex again until He kicked it off as The Demon began hitting the monster with a string of combos.

The Lizard managed to recover as it hit Alex with its tail again as It jumped on him and began trying to bite his head off.

Alex kept dodging the attacks He managed to push the lizard away from him as The Lizard stomped on Alex's head. The Monster repeatedly stomped on his head until it picked him up and then.....

The Lizard began punching Alex repeatedly in the face as The Lizard let out a menacing growl before Alex hit a headbutt on the monster as he immediately got up and hit the monster with a....

The Lizard was holding its head as it opened a manhole and threw it at Alex before it jumped back into the sewers as Alex was following him.

Alex: Come on Conners, Your too old for hide and seek.

Alex continued moving through the sewers as he was waiting for Conners to surprise him. He continued moving through the sewers as he heard infected growling at Alex.

Alex was at the end as he tried to destroy the iron bars stopping his way until....

Alex was holding his gut as The Lizard removed the syringe from its neck before it began feeling dizzy. The Lizard fell down on another platform as Alex saw the monster slowly turning into Conners.

Alex jumped down and checked on Conners as he wasnt moving at all. Curt managed to wake up as Alex was looking at him.

Alex: Conners, Are you alright?

Conners: You.....You saved the Lizard?

Alex: I saved you.

Conners was trying to catch his breath as Alex helped him up as Conners continued talking to him.

Conners: Is Everyone Alright? Gwen?

Alex: She's fine, You didn't hurt anyone. Except me.

Conners: *Sighs* What about Smythe?

Alex: He's arrested now. He probably has a place in the Beliot Psychiatric Hospital.

Conners: I see.

Alex was silent as Conners continued talking about Smythe.

Conners: I guess his dream failed. He saw the world in black and white and tried to shape it to his vision but it's all shades of grey isn't it?

Alex: I guess so.

Conners: *Chuckles* I guess it's time to get back to the asylum. I heard its movie night.

Alex: You save the day Curt. Today, The Lizard was a hero.

Conners: He's still inside me Alex, Lurking in the shadows.

Alex: We all have demons, Keeping them at bay is what makes us stronger. Smythe couldn't see that.

Conners: *Smiles* If Your Father and Brother were still here. They would be proud of you.

Alex smiled at Conners as Both of them managed to leave the sewers. Alex and Conners continued walking out of undercity until they saw multiple police cars in the entrance as Captain Stacy saw them.

Conners: I guess you know what to do Captain.

Captain Stacy put the handcuffs on Conners as he spoke to him.

George: Thank you again for saving my daughter.

Conners: No Problem Captain. Take care of yourself.

Curt was escorted to a police car as Captain Stacy looked at Alex.

George: You should go back home now. Your mother must be worried about you.

Alex: Alright then.

Alex used a tendril as he continued swinging through different buildings as Captain Stacy has a huge smile on his face.

Meanwhile Martha was watching the news about the attacks as she was listening carefully.

Eddie: We all thought, We lost hope when the outbreak started. We all thought this was the end but we were wrong. There was hope left and The Vigilante and Conners created an antidote that has now saved us from this nightmare. It will take some time to recover from this nightmare but everything will be back to normal soon.

Martha heard the front door being opened as she closed the TV and saw Alex who had brusies on his face as he was staring at her.

Martha had tears falling from her eyes as she hugged Alex as he hugged her back.

Martha: What happened to you?

Alex: Nothing.....I was at the police station taking shelter from the attacks.

Martha: Thank God your alright. I was worried if I lost you.

Alex: Your never gonna lose me Mom. I'll always be there for you.

Martha hugged Alex again as Alex broke the hug as he was holding his mother's hands.

Martha: I'm glad the vigilante and conners ended this nightmare.

Alex: Me too.

Martha smiled at Alex and kissed his forehead as he smiled at her back. They hugged again as Alex was looking at the family photo on the wall.
