38. Sunshine

"Babe, are you ready?" Taehyung asked when he entered their house. They are set to leave to meet their wedding planner – Jung Hoseok.

"I'm ready!" Jin came running down the stairs. "Are you sure Andi will be alright with Jisoo? I hope Jisoo won't bitch slap her when she cries."

Taehyung chuckled and kissed Seokjin's forehead. "She won't you're her best friend. She even loves you more than me."

"Oh, I know. The amount of text she sends me once a day is enormous."

Taehyung held Jin's hands and they went outside to ride their car. Jimin and Jungkook is already inside with Jimin munching on an ice cream sandwich that he ordered from Yoongi's shop. Tae and Jin exchanged looks when they saw Jungkook frowning beside his husband.

It's not a hidden fact that Jungkook greatly despises Yoongi as of late. His husband's pregnancy makes Jimin want to see Yoongi more than Jungkook. it gave Taehyung the opportunity to tease Jungkook.

"So, Jimin, want to bring Yoongi with us?"

Taehyung gave Jungkook a knowing smirk when Jimin's face lit up. Seokjin just chuckled and went to the driver's seat.

"Oh shut up, Taehyung." Jungkook hissed. Jimin pouted. "Why? You don't want him to come with us?"

Jungkook being weak at Jimin's little antics sighed and gave in. He was rewarded with a kiss on the cheeks that had him blushing like a teenage kid.

"You two are gross as fuck," Seokjin made a face and started the car once Taehyung is already seated beside him. Jimin chuckled at him and laid his head on Jungkook's shoulders.

"You're the one to talk, Bubu Bear." Jungkook responded and eyes Taehyung on the rearview mirror. "You and Taehyung is a lot more sappier than us."

Seokjin had a small smile etched on his face when he felt Taehyung's hand squeezed his thigh.

Such a possessive devil.

He looked dumb having that silly smile on his face, but he just can't help it. He loves seeing Taehyung lose his control just because of these small things. Granted, Taehyung and Jungkook are friends, but not when Jungkook calls him Bubu Bear to which Jungkook abuses especially when Taehyung purposely irritates him by mentioning Yoongi's name like what he did earlier. Taehyung knew that Jungkook had this strong sense of possessiveness with Jimin and he hates the thought of Jimin wanting to see Yoongi more than him. And then the teasing battle will start because he knew Jungkook won't give up without a damn fight.

"Bubu bear, do you want to grab ice cream later? Once Jimin and I go, I buy you one."

Taehyung rolled his eyes, "No. Jin will come with me. Focus on your husband, oh my bad," Taehyung faced Jungkook and smirked at him, "... he loves seeing Yoongi's face more than yours."

Jimin laughed along with Seokjin at how childish their husbands seem. Seokjin put his hand above Taehyung's and intertwined their fingers making him stop bantering with Jungkook and gaze at him with loving eyes. Seokjin saw Jimin did his own thing too by giving Jungkook a peck and holding on his hand while playing with his thumb. Jungkook stopped glaring at Taehyung and brushed Jimin's hair with his hands instead.

"You are enjoying this, aren't you?" Taehyung asked.

That made Jin giggle. "I kinda do."

Taehyung shook his head. Seokjin is really something else. But that is also why he loved him. Jin is unique, not like anything or anyone he had encountered.

"Good thing I am so in love with you I can let it slide."

Seokjin grinned at him. surely, he loves Taehyung too.

Before they go to Aurora's mansion, the group decided to drop by Yoongi's ice cream shop first to bring Yoongi with them. Jimin immediately sat beside Yoongi and gave him a hug.

"Hey Yoongi!"

Yoongi smiled fondly at Jimin and looked at Jungkook to greet him. Jin and Taehyung saw Jungkook just nodded his head and sat far away from the duo isolating himself seating to the farthest seat there is in the café. Seokjin concluded that Jungkook doesn't want to see Jimin and Yoongi be sweet with each other while he watched.

Immediately, he remembered Taehyung when he was still pregnant with Andi.

"Did you felt that way too?"

Taehyung who is still looking at Jungkook hummed in agreement. "I did. I was so mad at Jungkook that time. At the back of my mind, I know he is not at fault, but I can't help myself because I want you to spend time with me instead of your Bubu Bear." There is slight mockery on Taehyung's voice.

Seokjin chuckled. And put his head on Taehyung's shoulder.

"I am sorry."

"It's okay. Andi made you do it." Taehyung patted Seokjin's head.

"Do you think we need to let Jimin know? I am pitying they way Jungkook looked right now."

Taehyung nodded, "Maybe later. I am quite enjoying his misery."

Seokjin hit Taehyung's chest. "Mean."

"Just a few more minutes."

Seokjin just watched Jimin and Yoongi and then he remembered where he had seen Yoongi. "Babe, isn't he Hoseok's husband before? The one who stole your first love?"

Taehyung cringed hearing and remembering about his affection for Hoseok and at what lengths he reached just to be noticed by the man. "Don't remind me of that, please. I am so cringey back then."

"Huh? You're still cringey until now. What are you saying?"

That made Taehyung chuckle. "Just don't, 'kay?"

"Fine. But am I right? Isn't he that guy?"

"Yep. He is." Taehyung answered.

"Shit! Then we should let him and his future husband meet, Oh to the M to the G I am so excited!"

"Hey, hey don't jump! People will be looking at you!"

Seokjin stopped and bit his lips before sitting on Taehyung's lap and kissed him all over his face.

"Sorry, I was just too happy I can finally get rid of your first love."

Taehyung knew Seokjin is just joking so he laughed along with him and feed him ice cream. They stayed there for a few more minutes and called Jisoo to check on Andi.

"Hi sis, how is my baby?" Taehyung asked when Jisoo answered the video call.

"She is okay, she's sleeping." She even showed the couple what their baby looked like and the couple can't help but coo at her state. "See, she's so cute just like her auntie. When she grows up, she will inherit my throne."

Seokjin scoffed at Jisoo, "Don't teach my daughter how to be a bitch like you, Jisoo."

"Shut up, J! I can do what I want and when I say Andi will be my heiress, that will be final."

"Nope. Give birth to your own child and gave them your crown."

Jisoo rolled her eyes at Jin. "Be thankful you are my bestest friend, or else I will bury you six feet under."

Seokjin stuck his tongue out at Jisoo, "Nope. You can't do that. You love me too much."

Taehyung laughed seeing her sister can't form a word at Seokjin's remark.

"Whatever, J, whatever. I will hang up now. bye!"

They said their goodbyes and continued eating. They texted Aurora too to check if Hoseok is already there, but the lady said no. Seokjin kept thinking about what to do later, but he momentarily stopped and shook his head. he will let it happen for now, if those two don't date after his wedding, he will push their faces against each other and make them kiss so they will get their own happy ending too.

"Yoongi, tell me, who is Sunshine?" Jimin asked.

Yoongi sighed and looked at Jimin, "My first love."

"What happened? Why isn't he here now?"

Jimin observed Yoongi's face as it turned more forlorn. Over the course of their one year friendship, Jimin has never really heard the whole story of Yoongi's "Sunshine" all he knows is that the man left, end of the story. He was afraid to ask before, but not now. his curiosity is eating him. Jimin wants to know so he can help in any way or form that he can.

"He left me because he thought that my dreams were more important than him. I wanted to become a famous businessperson like my father, so I kept studying and studying but what I didn't noticed is that I lost time for him. I spent more days at the university and forgot that I have to spend time for him too. I thought texting him and sending him gifts were enough, but apparently, he thought it's not enough. He wanted time, quality time. Not just the rushed coffee dates, rushed morning breakfast and the talks that only him engages and getting bland answers from me. He felt unloved, and I can't blame him that one day, he had enough kissed me goodbye and left. The only thing that is his that was left on my apartment was the handkerchief he gave me to wipe my tears when he walked out our apartment home."

Jimin can see Yoongi's eyes water and his heart broke for the man. aside from Seokjin, Yoongi is one of those very few people that he can trust and call a friend so seeing him so heart broken affected him big time. He put his arm around Yoongi and gave him a hug.

"Why won't you look for him? Maybe he still loves you and is hoping for you to return?"

Yoongi shook his head.

"I don't know. What if he found someone else already? I can't bear seeing that. Or worse, what if he doesn't love me anymore? how will I live after that?"

"You will live after that. If he doesn't love you anymore then we will move on. Accept it, and let your true soulmate find you." Jimin answered and comforted Yoongi.

"Thank you, Jimin."

On the other side of the shop, a seething Jungkook watched as his husband hug another man. He knows perfectly that Jimin doesn't feel anything towards Yoongi, but he can't help himself to feel bad when he knows that another man touched what was his.

So, he stood up and went to the car to clear his head, he doesn't want another incident where he will all Jimin names just because he is mad. He learned from the past. so, he will just wait for them to come back and offer to drive so he will have another focus and shift his thoughts away before they wander to something bad and may result to them fighting once again.

After an hour, they all went rode the car and Jungkook did offered to drive. Jimin sat by Jungkook's side and slept along they way to Aurora's mansion. The ride was fast and they arrived just in time before Hoseok came. Aurora welcomed them and they started to plan for the wedding so Hoseok will just list down what their suggestions are.

Seokjin wanted a simple wedding. He wanted a beach wedding if possible. He already imagined saying his I do's on while the sun sets and the orangey sky giving witness to his promise of ever after with Taehyung. then, when the night comes, the stars will be their witness when they make love. Skinny dipping on the beach before finally consummating their marriage.

He blushed just by thinking about it.

"Hello, good afternoon!" a voice echoed in the living room, then a man with a heart-like smile entered. Seokjin saw Yoongi stoned in place, but before Jin can even registered what happened, Hoseok threw himself on Taehyung's arms, "Hey Tae! Oh gosh, your wedding? I'm so happy!"

"Yes." Taehyung held Seokjin's hand and kissed it. "I will marry the best man in the world."

Hoseok cooed and gave Seokjin a hug. "I am so happy for the both of you!"

Seokjin smiled and thanked Hoseok. Seokjin then introduced everyone in the room, but when it's Yoongi's turn, he saw Hoseok didn't even looked at Yoongi while the other had his hopeful eyes set on Hoseok. Seokjin looked at Jimin and his best friend just nodded his head, instantly, Jin knows that Jimin will tell everything to him later.

"Tell me what you want to see on your wedding, and we can discuss."

Seokjin tried to put the thought at the back of his head first, and focused on his wedding but glancing every now and then to Yoongi.

Yoongi then waited outside. He needs to breathe. Seeing Hoseok in flesh made him feel a lot of things. But one thing s for sure, he is still in love. He sighed and looked back inside only to see Hoseok was not there anymore.

He looked around figuring out where he went, but he can't see him. until someone went out of the front door and spoke, "Looking for me?"

Yoongi almost jumped in his place just by hearing his voice.

"Sunshine." He mumbled.

Hoseok was taken aback at the endearment that he hasn't heard for years.

"Do you know how to make time for me now, Yoonie?"

Yoongi broke into a smile and went towards Hoseok to gave him a hug.
