Chapter 5
I have realized that you people don't know whether I ship Brallon or Ryden. Guess you'll just have to find out

I was just entering the building, a few minutes early. Jamia was sitting at the desk, looking quite annoyed with everything.
"You alright?" I asked.
"Yeah, Frank's just being an ass is all," she replied.
I frowned in confusion.
"How so?" I asked. "And I don't think you're allowed to talk about your boss like that."
"First off, he's my ex so I can talk about him however the hell I want," Jamia listed. "And secondly, he's blaming me for the man leaking info. Which is total fucking bullshit because he also goes through background checks."
"You two are exes?" I wondered.
"He's my ex-husband," she confirmed, looking at my curious expression. "Something happened and there was a strain that we just couldn't get through."
I nodded, seeing that she didn't want to talk more about it. I went into the elevator and down to the main floor. I've been here for two weeks and so far it's gotten easier and easier to fit in. I met up with Ryan and Tyler, who were standing by the coffee machine.
"Hey," I greeted.
They nodded at me in return, watching the brown liquid. Clearly they had just woken up. There was a small static sound and everyone looked up. I followed the sound, seeing a flat screen tv in the corner of the room mounted on the wall flick to life.
"What's this?" I asked.
"Video announcements," Tyler said.
He glanced once more at the brewing coffee before looking back at the tv. The screen showed a man with a black fauxhawk, the sides of it dyed red. It only showed from waist up, but I could see he was wearing a white button up with a red tie. I immediately recognized him as Frank, the leader and the man from the car.
"We have found the leak," Frank stated, his face angry.
Billie Joe dragged a man with dark hair onto the screen. The man had his hands tied behind his back and was fighting against Billie Joe's grip. He looked even more pissed off than Frank.
"I will not tolerate these nuisances," Frank spat.
"You're a sick bastard," the man countered.
Well I agree with him on something.
"And you know what happens to someone that's a nuisance?" Frank asked, ignoring the man.
He pulled out a gun from the back waist of his jeans, pointing it at the man's head. I stared in shock while no one else around me seemed surprised.
"You're gonna burn in hell, Iero," the man threatened.
"Well, I guess I'll be seeing you there," Frank replied, pulling the trigger.
I jumped from the loud bang, blood splattering onto Billie Joe, who hadn't even flinched from all of this. The body fell to the floor and Billie simply dragged it away while Frank turned back to us.
"I won't tolerate things like this happening in my company, and I swear to fucking god I will kill whoever wants to test me," Frank warned us all.
The screen shut off and I gulped. If he finds out about me and my plan then I'm dead meat. But what the hell, this man is an ass. Does he get off on killing innocent people or something? The man was doing good taking down the company, although I would rather do it myself. He's sick, all the more reason to kill him.
"Okay, so I was thinking," Ryan started.
"That's a first," Tyler teased.
Ryan hit him on the shoulder and frowned.
"Shut up," he muttered. "I was just thinking about Brendon and I and our relationship."
"You're gonna break up with him? I thought you were in love?" Tyler asked in shock.
"No, of course I don't want to break up with him," Ryan clarified. "It's just that there's this Ten who is always staring at him. I don't know who he is but I think he likes Brendon."
"Oh you mean Dallon?" I asked.
Ryan glared at me. "You knew about him?"
"Yeah, he's a Ten and I'm a Ten," I said. "I'm with him for most of the day."
"And does he like Brendon?" He asked.
I nodded and he looked upset.
"Oh my god, Brendon's gonna leave me for him," Ryan worried. "He's gonna leave me for Dallon, oh my god how can this happen?"
Tyler rubbed his back, handing him his coffee.
"Trust me, Brendon is head over heels for you," I reassured him.
"But what if he's not?" He asked. "Brendon doesn't like talking about his feelings and he can be kind of a whore at times so what's stopping him?"
"His love for you," Tyler stated.
Ryan shook his head, beginning to panic even more.
"Okay, I'll text Brendon to come here and we'll sort this all out," Tyler suggested.
He pulled out his phone, typing something into it before pocketing it again. Five minutes later Brendon showed up, giving Ryan a soft kiss.
"Who the hell is Dallon?" Ryan asked.
Brendon furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
"I don't know, I've never met anyone with the name Dallon," Brendon said. "Why? Am I supposed to know him? Shit, that's not one of your dads is it, I'm sorry if it is and I forgot."
"No, neither of my dads are named Dallon," Ryan said.
"Oh thank god, that would've been awkward for the next time we had dinner with your family," Brendon said. "Wait, so who is Dallon?"
"He's no one really important," Ryan said. "Just some guy who likes you."
"Someone likes me?" Brendon asked.
"You're an ass," Ryan muttered, storming out of the room.
"Oh no, baby, come here," Brendon called, following after him.
"Shit, is their relationship messed up now?" I asked.
"Hopefully not, they do argue like this sometimes so hopefully it's okay," Tyler said. "Hey, I have an important question to ask you and I need someone else's opinion other than Ray's because he's too nice to give me a real opinion. Tell me, do you think Josh likes me?"
I raised my eyebrows at that. "Do you like him?"
"Yeah," he mumbled. "It's just that the Ryan and Brendon thing got me thinking about Josh and how much I want to kiss him all the time. But I don't know if he even likes me. Hell, I don't know if he's even gay. But all I do know is that he's been talking a lot to this girl named Debby. And she's an odd numbered rank just like Josh so I can't keep an eye on them to see if they're dating or not."
"Maybe I can talk to him for you," I suggested.
"Thanks," Tyler replied. "You joined at a very odd time, usually there isn't this much drama, whether between the company or our friend group. It's usually a lot more mundane around here."
"How mundane could a building full of killers be?" I asked.
Tyler chuckled. "Speaking of which, when are you going out for your first mission?"
"Next week," I said. "It's actually rather nerve-wracking, I've never killed anyone before."
"Don't worry, it's not all that bad at first," Tyler said. "In fact, you'll probably start to enjoy it after a while."
I thought about what it felt like shooting the gun, how great it was, how powerful I felt. I quickly dismissed those thoughts. That sounds like something Frank Iero would think and I am not Frank. I'm not some monster that likes to kill people.
"I guess I'll end up getting the hang of it at some point," I said.
"Oh my god, here he comes, act cool," Tyler said.
He fixed his hair really quick and casually leaned against the table, drinking his coffee as Josh walked in.
"Hey," Josh muttered tiredly, pouring himself his own coffee.
"Hey, why are you getting up so late?" Tyler asked.
"I stayed up late last night," Josh said. "I'm trying to learn a new song on the drums."
"I'm sure you'll get it soon, you're amazing at drums," Tyler complimented, to which Josh shrugged. "Hey, maybe we should write a song together, you know I sing and I can play piano."
"Yeah, sure," Josh muttered.
Clearly he is one of those people who don't like starting a conversation in the morning without having a cup of coffee first.
"I think it'd be cool," Tyler said.
He looked over at me for help.
"So, Josh, are you seeing anyone? Seeing some named Debby, perhaps?" I asked.
Tyler glared at me from my blunt question. Josh gave me a glance before gulping down half his coffee.
"What's got you so interested in me?" Josh asked. "Oh wait, are you like interested in me? Sorry, but I'm just not all that into you like that."
I blushed, quickly shaking my head.
"No, I don't like you like that," I denied.
Josh smirked, winking at me and finishing off his coffee. Tyler looked slightly furious as he glanced between the two of us.
"Anyways," Josh said, changing the topic. "Patrick said he wanted me to help him with something down in one of the weaponry rooms, so I'll see you two later I guess."
He nodded at us, setting his mug into the sink and heading out of the room. Tyler turned to me with a look of distress.
"He never answered the Debby question," he said. "And now he thinks you like him. Wait, when he said he wasn't interested in you does that mean you or just men in general?"
I shrugged, watching him frown.
"Okay, let's just get some food because I am starving," Tyler stated.
I nodded and he walked to the canteen with me following. The two of us grabbed a plate of waffles that were provided before sitting down with Ray, Bob, and Joe. Bob and Joe are in odd numbered ranks but there's no dividing between them for breakfast so that's how we met.
"You see the guy that leaked info?" Joe asked.
"Goddamn spooks," Bob muttered. "He was in my rank too so I knew him."
"You sound like you genuinely miss him," Ray remarked.
"Hell no, he was a total ass," Bob said. "I'm glad he's gone."
"Yeah," Tyler agreed.
"Couldn't they have done it in a more ethical way?" I asked.
"Where's the fun in that?" Ray asked.
Is everyone here completely psycho?
