CH 38

I put on leggings and a long sleeve paired with a pair of boots. Mat and the others were waiting in the library. I tied my hair in a low pony, looking at myself in the mirror. I then grabbed my wand, heading down.

"So, we have about ten minutes, do we have any kind of plan?" Mat asked, looking very nervous and I could guess why.

"There can't be a plan we have no idea what's going to happen. But I do want to be in front, and go first," I stated.

"Why?" I looked at Enzo, he knew, and then I spoke.

"The reason you guys are even here is because you'll die for me without any thought. That is what he wants, that is why he wants you guys there, I will do anything he wants, I will sacrifice myself because you're there and he knows you will fight. So I'm asking you not to." Draco immediately said no and Mat stood up with an unreadable look on his face.

"Are you fucking serious Davina?" I stood up with him.

"Yes, I want you let it happen. If I'm at risk dont try and save me, it will be for nothing because he'll come for me anyway, I won't allow it. I would rather die for anyone of you three, than see even a bloody scratch on your arm." My voice raised near the end and he continued to look at me with a bewildered look.

"Do you understand what you're asking?"

"Yes. Do it for me please. Mattheo. Please."

"I'll do it," Draco said and I looked at him gratefully.

"Same here," Enzo said and I already knew that was the case. My eyes met with Mat's as his went glassy.

"But Davina, if you die, I die; whether it's today or afterwards." I didn't want to think about what he was saying, I just waited for Mat's response.

"I will be alone forever, I just want you to know that." He meant it as a joke, but he agreed so I hugged him tight.

"I'll never love anyone the way I love you Davina."

"I pray to merlin that you do." I pulled away and we all stood now heading out of the library.

"I guess we should go," Enzo said. I turned to Draco, and I practically jumped into him. He hugged me protectively, but that wouldn't stop Voldemort. He kissed my forehead and we pulled away. I took a deep breath, grabbing Mat and Enzo's hands, Draco grabbed hold of Mat's and then I apparated us to my birthplace.

Not one soul was there. We had landed right in the middle of the wreck that was my house and we all looked around. I briefly gazed over everything but then I went up the stairs, and to my mothers room, the very room I came into this world in. I walked over to her side table, the frames cracked and blown to the floor from the fire. It started in my room, an enemy of my fathers, it was why we moved, when I met Draco.

I picked up the frames, one of my mother, and the other two pictures were of me. I was just a baby. Mat came up behind me.

"Is that you?" I nodded. Then a noise had us rushing back downstairs. Voldemort had arrived. It was not amusing at all when he entered formally through the door when the walls weren't walls and he could just walk in without opening the door.

"Ah, right on time." He croaked and stepped towards me, the boys standing behind me. He gazed over each of them. "Son you look well." Mat ignored him and his eyes shifted back to me. "Is it just how you remembered?"

"I don't remember the fire so I don't know what it looked like when it happened. Although I visited after several years." I said, adding to my sentences. I had an urge to try and waist time. It just made me feel pathetic.

"Fascinating." He lied, and paused, looking at each of our faces before he continued. "I'm sure you're all wondering why you're here."

"We know why we're here, we just don't know why you're doing this," I said.

"Oh, I'm sure that you have no knowledge of anything. I cannot wait."

"Father, what do you mean?"

"I'm simply stating that what you think you know is wrong."

"That's bullshit," Mat said and his father ignored him.

"Well, for the rest of you, I wanted to let you know of your parents'... whereabouts. You'll see it in the Daily Prophet." He smiled, then continued, "Berkshire, Nott and the Malfoy's have been sent to Azkaban." They didn't seem shocked, Enzo looked relieved. I knew Draco was upset about his mother, his father he couldn't care less.

"And Rosier. Your dimwitted, stubborn father tried to avoid Azkaban, so he is dead." Voldemort looked at me, waiting for a reaction. I assumed that was what happened to my father, but hearing it, I admit I was disappointed, a part of me thought I'd have relationship with him eventually, him being dead was actually an annoying thing. He was able to die and be free of all his regrets constantly nagging at him. Me nagging at him. I actually think he deserved to live a very long life and suffer that way. Whereas now he can join my mother. Coward

"I see that you are not affected by that information."

"No, the world is better off, I am better off. Now just tell us why we're here and what we're doing here."

"I assure you, I am not the one to expose that information. You will find out soon."

"Whose coming?"

"Be patient."

"Sorry I'm late father." The door opened and the person that walked in caused us all to freeze. Voldemort smiled as she stepped inside. I made note of her calling Voldemort father.

The moment I locked eyes with her pain was shooting throughout my entire body.

"Davina!" Mat shouted.

"Oh, I wouldn't hurt her, not just yet." She stopped crucioing me, and I stood back up slowly, watching the malevolence glow in her eyes.

"So you're Voldemort's daughter?" I asked.

"Technically. He is my parent of a sort. Oh Matty, don't worry we're not siblings." I assumed he made a disgusted look seen as how they've kissed. If she's not his sister then Voldemort isn't related to her biologically. She's as psychopathic as him though.

"What is Rose?" I asked.

"It's my middle name, we were pretty close you and I, but I never told you that. Just know I plan to make your life a living hell, because you stole it. So say goodbye to your loved ones." She raised her wand to Mat and I jumped in front of her wand and copped the blow.

"Morana," Voldemort spat, and she stopped.

"I don't have much control, Evan knew that." Evan?

"You killed my father."

"Obviously. I hated him, he ruined everything. He deserved what he got. If it's any consolation, he did tell me to tell you that he loved you. Pathetic, I wouldn't believe him." I don't believe him, but she doesn't need to know that.

"Why are you doing this? Why you? Was everything just fake?"

"Our relationship was all real, Davina. But yes, everything else was fake. I never liked Mattheo, I just went there because I knew he loved you. I was bored, wanted to stir things up a bit. But he wouldn't do anything, because of you." She gave him a pathetic look and then turned back to me.

"I knew him when he was a boy, he is still as soft as he was then." Again she looked disgusted.

"You knew him?"

"Well, I've been living in the Riddle Manor his whole life, we were bound to run into each other. When we were all but toddlers it was safe for us to play together, because he wouldn't remember me. After about 5 or 6 I wasn't allowed to see him anymore, and then I was alone. Now I know it was all worth it. For this." Her evil smirk was painted on her face and Voldemort just stood to the side looking proud.

"I can't believe this. you were right under our noses. It's been you this whole time. Why do you hate me so much? What have I ever done to you?"

"You didn't do anything to me directly, but I've said all I wanted to say. Father?" She turned to him, asking for permission to be violent I presume. I took out my wand and so did the others and she stepped towards us. She obviously began the battle.

I blocked her first cast and she realised she wouldn't get very far with me, so she went to the boys. Although it was 1 against 4 so I jinxed her. She grunted in annoyance as she stood up and aimed her wand at me. I flew to the brick wall. my back hitting it with a vast amount of force. The wind was knocked out of me and she pushed me further into the wall with her magic. It felt as if my bones were crushing.

The boys, much to my dismay, tried saving me, and I couldn't help them when she cast all three of them, lifting them off the ground until they started choking. They seldom listened to me.

"NO!"
