*I grab my ears in a room embarrassed from the failure of becoming closer to the Student from the Exchange program before letting go sighing as I sit against the wall sliding down against it as I feel like a failure as I lean my head back looking up and to the vent in the ceiling as I see something move along in the vent causing me to blink as I begin to watch it now a bit more as I see a leg in the vent as I now begin to follow the path of it now listening closer as I silently get up following the vent pathway closely while staying out of sight just in case as the vent opens as a pair of legs hang out of the vent as I go into hiding as the Boy I saw just a bit earlier hanging upside down as I watch as he closes the vent before flipping to the ground silently glance around as if suspicious about something as I hold my breath before he grabs his ear and speaks in a voice so cold I feel my blood run cold*

Y/N: "Yes I got the intel needed... No, I can't act yet.... No I can't not unless you want this mission to end poorly... Yes I'm fucking competent you daft cunt... *He turns around seeming to be looking at something as he goes silent and then seems to vanish in front of me as I look around quickly as I'm trying to understand what happened as I turn around fully for myself I feel my blood freeze as their he is right in front of me looking me in my eyes as I want to speak but I can't something in me is telling me to run that I screwed up but I don't want to move away as I am now afraid*

*He grabs my shoulders stopping me from moving entirely*

Y/N: "How much did you hear."

*I shake my head no rapidly*

Velvet: "H-Hear what?"

*He seems to be thinking about something what I can't tell he's terrifying*

Y/N: "We are about to be the best of friends. If you let anyone know what you heard. Well you'll never see the sun again. Am I clear."

*I nod scared as something about his words tell me he's serious and I will vanish if I speak to much*

Y/N: "Good now then follow me. And act natural."

*I follow him to scared to find out what would happen if I didn't listen I'd be erased as I'm sure he can do that with how quickly he appeared near me without a sound, it was instant and the life I felt and saw flash before my eyes just from that alone and it wasn't fun I just wanted a friend now I have a target on my life*

Velvet: "P-please don't kill me"

*I nod tears forming in my eyes as I don't want to die as my eyes are getting blurry as He grabs me and pulls me off to the side*

Y/N Whisper yelling at me: "I swear your crying is going to give it away to fucking easily, stop crying!"

*He wipes the tears away as I start to cry silently as he seems exasperated now as he soon has me look him in his E/C that seem so cold and confused*

Y/N: "Relax crying won't help this situation think of happy things or something but look natural"

*He seems to be speaking a bit quieter to me as he seems to gently have me look him in his eyes as I sniffle still scared but thinking happy thoughts*

*I slowly fully stop crying as he gently wipes the remaining tears away from me as i don't sniffle this time as I'm thinking of happier times with a bit of trouble as I nod as I feel him grab my hand and gently pull me along with him as i can tell his body has warmth in it but he seems so cold at the same time its confusing to me*

...cold... yet warm?... he's strange... in a hard to tell way as he has seemed so mean yet he hasn't killed me... yet

*he leads me out of beacon as we reach a forest he pulls me out of sight of people as he pins me to a tree*

Y/N: "I don't understand you. Had you not followed you'd have probably lived not in as much fear, what's your angle. Why did you follow me through the vents."

Velvet: "I-I-I was curious"

Y/N: "Curiosity kills people. That should have been clear without help, hell anyone knows that to curious and lose your life, bad timing is how people go missing."

Velvet: "Then why didn't you kill me?"

*He goes silent for a moment as if he wasn't excepting that question*

...why didn't I kill her doing? so would have been faster, safer, and far more effective then leaving her alone and alive it would have been as easy as counting to three even. One

*I notice something around her neck as I pull her closer and look at it closer as I gaze at what seems to be a locket on her that's opened some as I see her and a fellow Faunus that looks familiar but not at the same time*
