YN's POV
It's been about 3 weeks since I met Velvet. I was sitting on my bed with Finn sitting on the other side of my bed as I got increasingly mad at what he was saying "Come on, why haven't you asked Velvet out yet? He teased

"Just drop it Finn" I said in an annoyed tone

"How about this if you don't enjoy a date with Velvet then I have to pay you but if you do enjoy it I don't"

"No! I'm not gonna take that bet"

"Why Not?"

"Cause you know I would enjoy it"

"HA! You just said you wanna go on a date with Velvet So why are you still avoiding the question?" He said as I just realized I got outsmarted by Finn of all people

I let out some frustrated noises trying to come up with an excuse before speaking "Fine I admit it!... She's incredible, I've never felt this way about a girl" I blushed and started lightly smiling just thinking of her smile

"What about Rebecca from signal"

"That was you"

"Oh yeah, what about Jane"

"You"

"Alice"

"You"

"Jenn"

"You"

"Whatever, anyway why don't you ask her out?"

I was done dodging the question I stood up off the bed and spoke "Well let's see here what is it the Order of the Pure Blood hate the most?"

"Fannus...Ohhh" he says as it dawns on him what I'm getting at

"And remind me again who's the son of some of the most influential people in the Order of Pure Blood?"

"You"

"I'm gonna need a first and last name Finn" I said getting more condescending as I lost control of my emotions

"YN LN"

"Wait a minute that can't be right! Because that's my name it's almost like we're the same person or something!" I said as tears began to run down my face

"I get it YN"

"No you don't get it you don't know how it feels to fall for someone who your parent would rather see in a shallow fucking grave!"

Finn was starting to get angry at me by this point he stood up off the bed and stared right at me "And why now huh!? Why have you suddenly started caring about what your parents think!?"

"I don't care what they think I've never cared what they think!"

"Then why are you bringing them up in this conversation?!"

I shouted at the top of my lungs "THEY COULD KILL VELVET! ALL IT TAKES IS ONE COMMAND BY THE TWO OF THEM AND SUDDENLY SHE'LL BE HUNTED BY A GROUP THAT TAKES PRIDE IN KILLING HER!"

Everyone fell silent the only sound was my heavy breathing. I sat back down onto the bed and started crying into my hands. I felt Finn sit beside me and hug me "I understand you're scared but remember what you told me the first time we fought Grimm"

I nodded

"You can't let fear control your life"He said

"I don't want to lose her" I said while wiping tears from my eyes

"Then you get stronger"

"What?"

"You get strong enough to protect the one you love, you're already stronger than your parents you just need to be strong enough to fight off some 'Pure Blood' Soldiers"

"Thanks Finn. Sorry for yelling" I quietly said as Lena and Aubrey also hugged me

We stayed like this for a while not doing anything just them hugging me and me recovering from crying. Until there was a knock at the door Lena, Aubrey and Finn let go of me and Lena walked up to the door and opened it. I then heard Velvet's soft voice

"Oh hello are you one of YN's teammates?"

"Umm Yes I am, my name is Lena pleasure to meet you"

"Pleasure to meet you to My name is Velvet"

"So umm why did you come here"

"Oh I Umm I came to bring YN h-his j-jacket, h-he l-lent me it when Cardin ruined mine"

"Oh well thank you Velvet that's very sweet of you"

"Is he in right now?"

"Umm no he isn-" Lena was going to say I wasn't there but I interrupted her

"Yeah I'm here Velvet" I said

I had spent the time Lena and Velvet were talking to regain my composure and try to make it look like I wasn't crying a few minutes ago

"You can come in" I said and Lena stepped out of the way

"Hi YN!" She waves at me happy and just that simple smile and wave was enough to wash my worries away for a time

"Hey Velvet" I smiled back

"Oh by the way you already met Lena, This is Finn and this is Aubrey" I said pointing to the people as I said there names

"Nice to meet you all" she said waving at them and sitting down on my bed

"Hey" Finn said
"Hi, nice to meet you too" Aubrey said
"Hello again" Lena said

I looked at the three of them "Could you guys give us the room for a second?" I said

"Sure" Finn said he gave me a high five and as he brought his hand away I felt a piece of paper in my hand. I quickly looked at it and it said

"You can't let fear control your life, Now go get her lady killer ;)"

I smirked then they all left the room

"What's up YN?" Velvet asked tilting her head

I lightly placed a hand on her hand and spoke "Velvet I was w-wondering if you wanted to g-go out sometime j-just the two of us" I smiled at her

"Y-y-you m-mean l-like a d-d-date?" She asked blushing

I blushed "O-O-Only if y-y-you wanna call it t-that" we looked into each others eyes

"I-I would like t-that" she said smiling at me as I smiled back

"B-but only if your ok with it!" she said

In stead of answering I lightly pressed my lips against hers which shocked her but she slowly kissed back. We separated from the kiss "I would like that too Velvet" I said and we both giggled

"You can come back in now!" I yelled

My teammates reentered to see me and Velvet sitting on my bed with our hands intertwined "Did you do it?" Finn asked

I nodded "Fucking Finally!" He said relieved

I crumpled the piece of paper he gave to me and threw it at his head

"So when you going?" Asked Aubrey

I looked at Velvet "Tomorrow after school?"

"Sounds like a plan" she said then quickly pecking me on the cheek before running out of the room

I then fell down and sprawled out on my bed

"You're an asshole Finn, but god dammit where would I be without you" I said smiling at him

"I have no idea" he laughed

"Thank you though"

Timeskip to tomorrow after school
Velvet's POV
I was excitedly waiting for YN to arrive we agreed to meet at my dorm room so he could meet my team like I did with his yesterday. I was practically bouncing up and down with excitement on my bed while Coco tried to calm me down. We then heard a knock at the door. "That's probably him" I said and ran to the door

I opened the door and saw YN he was out of his pullover hoodie and just had a short FC shirt on with a (silhouette logo) on it with jeans and his FC converse. "Hi YN"

YN's POV
I was staring at Velvet somehow she was able to get cuter than she already was. She was wearing a loose brown tank top with shorts on and brown shoes "H-H-Hey Velvet" I tried to say

"Is something wrong YN?" She tilted her head

"No, No nothing's wrong it's just... You look beautiful is all" She blushed and giggled as I said this

"So you're the guy Velvets been going on about?" A cool girl looked over Velvet's shoulder and tilted her sunglasses down to look at me

"Oh right, YN come in meet my team" Velvet said pulling me into her dorm room

She pointed to the cool girl "This is Coco she's our leader" Velvet said and I nodded

She pointed to a dark skinned boy with red hair his eyes clouded over signalling he was blind and scars all over his body I without realizing it started to rub some of my scars as I saw him "This is Fox he's kinda the stoic type"

She then pointed to a mountain of a man in a green uniform with a large orange sword on his back "And this is Yatsuhashi, don't be intimidated he's a teddy bear" she said and he seemed to get slightly embarrassed by this

"And that's my team"

"Nice to meet you all I assume Velvet told you my name?"

Fox and Yatsuhashi nodded

"Alright wanna go" Velvet asked

I nodded and she pulled me out the door

Timeskip to later walking
We were walking towards where I wanted to take Velvet she kept trying to get me to tell her but I wanted to keep it a secret "Ok it's just around this corner"

I pulled her around the corner to reveal a fairground I had found a few hours after I asked Velvet out. Her face lit up and she jumped into my arms and hugged me. "Thank you, Thank you YN this is gonna be so fun" she said as she pulled me into the fair grounds. We were walking side by side and I slowly slid my hand into Velvets. She smiled at me as our fingers intertwined

We walked to a few booths to look at and I saw a nice gold bunny necklace at one of the stand that we walked by. I made eye contact with the shopkeeper as Velvet walked me to another stand. We kept walking until Velvet stopped moving I turned to look at her and she was looking at a large stuffed Ursa with adorable cartoony eyes on a wall behind a ring toss game. "You want it?" All I got in response was nod.

I walked up to a burly bald man with a thick beard and an equally thick accent "Want to play a round?" He said

I gave him the money and started the game. I was looking at the tag near the Ursa to figure out what I had to do I had to get one ring on the farthest bottle and two other random bottles. Surprisingly there wasn't actually any rigging or trickery with this game, I quickly got the random two then took a little time to set up the final shot. I threw the ring and it looped around the farthest bottle. I smiled back at Velvet and then smiled at the burly man and pointed to the Ursa. He picked it up and handed it to me to which I handed it to Velvet who hugged it then hugged me and kissed me on the cheek "Thank you YN"

"What kind of boyfriend would I be if I didn't at least try and get you the prize you wanted?" I said as we she blushed when I said boyfriend which made me blush.

We walked around for a little longer until I heard Velvets stomach growl and we both giggled as I pulled her to a food stand. I got her what she wanted and I got FF (Favourite Food that would be at a food stand) as we sat down and ate "This has been really fun YN" Velvet said

"Yeah it has been" I smiled at her and she smiled back

We finished our food and I bought Velvet some cotton candy. She took little nibbles at it and it was adorable to watch she noticed me looking "What?"

"You just look adorable while you eat is all" I said she giggled and blushed then returned to eating

We eventually had done most of the things at the fair and we left. we walked into the near by forest. I then sat down leaning up against a tree and smiled at the sky. I then felt Velvet sit in front of me I looked at her and she wrapped her arms around my neck and I placed mine on her waist. She passionately kissed me and I responded with just as much passion. Her lips tasted like chocolate as I slid my tongue against her lower lip to ask for entrance. Although she was hesitant to open up I separated the kiss "Don't worry Velvet I'll be gentle" I said before kissing her again

This time she opened up without me needing to ask and I gently slid my tongue into her mouth as I did so she slid hers into my mouth as we fought for dominance. I let her win cause I said I would be gentle but she put up a good fight even without me letting her win. She began exploring my mouth with her tongue and it felt incredible I tried to pull her even closer than she already was to make this even better but we were already as close as we could get. She played with my tongue a bit before retreating into her mouth signalling mine to follow. I let my tongue explore her mouth as she did mine as she began rubbing my chest through my shirt. She pulled off my shirt and the kiss was amazing that I had actually forgotten about my scars through out the whole experience until she started rubbing my bare chest and felt my scars and she pulled out of the kiss "Oh my god YN what happened!" She asked concerned

I placed one hand on each side of her face before speaking "Please Velvet, tonight has been perfect and I don't wanna bring up bad memories to ruin it"

I placed my forehead against hers "so could we just pick up where we left of?" I asked blushing

"I wanna know what happened" she said

"I'll tell you soon" as I pulled back into the kiss

We began to make out again, I grabbed one of Velvets hands and placed it on my chest. She was hesitant at first but eventually started to use both hands to rub my chest mostly avoiding the scars. I slid my hands a little up her shirt but only going as high as her stomach as I felt her amazingly smooth skin and played with her belly button. She lifted her shirt a bit not taking it off just lifting so I could see her stomach and where my hands were. We eventually pulled away from the kiss not because we wanted to but it had become much harder to breath so we had to stop there " Your lips are really sweet" I said panting as I put my shirt back on

"Yours taste nice too" she said also panting

"You're a pretty good kisser" I said helping Velvet back to her feet

"You're not bad yourself" as she kissed my cheek and we held hands and walked back to her dorm and she seemed worried the entire way

Once we made it back she lightly kissed me "I had fun YN"

"Would you be ok with the idea of another one?" I asked

She nodded and smiled before hugging me and placed a finger on my abdomen and started drawing a circle on my stomach "Tell me what those scars are about soon, ok?"

"Of course Velvet" I kissed her forehead before she entered her dorm room and I returned to mine

I entered the dorm room again to see Finn sitting on his bed on his scroll he looked up at me and smiled "how'd it go lover boy~"

"Great... Wait were you waiting up for me?" I said while walking over to Lena and waking her up

"Maybe" he said

"Oh hey YN what's up" Lena said rubbing her eye

"Sorry to bother you I need you to teleport me the fairground we found"

She sighed "You owe me big time" She then grabbed me and teleported me to the fair

We made it and I ran back in to find that one jeweller starting to pack up "Wait! Is it to late for me to get something?" I asked her

"I remember you, you walked by a couple of hours ago with that fannus girl, What is it you need?"

"I saw a golden bunny necklace when I looked over here a couple of hours ago do you still have it?"

"You're in luck" she then pulled out the necklace

"Perfect how much is it?"

She said the amount (AN:Which I don't know because I don't know the conversion rate of Canadian money to Lien and I don't know how much jewelry cost in Canadian money anyway so fuck it) and I quickly payed

"Pleasure doing business with you I hope she enjoys it" she gives me a wink and I blush a bit before walking away

"Cool we can go now" I said

"What did you get"Lena said I pulled out the necklace

"She'll love that" she said

"I hope so" I said

She teleported us back to the dorm. Once we got the dorm I picked up Lena assuming she was even more tired than before I woke her up, because of using her semblance to travel such a long distance. I then placed her in her bed "we'll talk about what I owe you in the morning"

"Ok good night" she almost immediately passed out

I got dressed into my pajamas and slid into bed and fell asleep
