AN:Velvets gonna start showing up now

Lena's POV
I woke up in The Team dorm room I was the first to wake up just like back home. I walked up to Aubrey's bed and tickled her cute little cat ears until she woke up "H-h-Hey L-L-Lena"

"Good Morning" I responded

I walked past YN and up to Finn and told him to wake up "Alright I'm up" he said sitting up and rubbing the back of his neck

"Wake up YN"

"Fine"

He walked up to YN and flipped him out of bed. YN quickly stood up "Ok we have to discuss gentler ways of waking me up" YN said angrily

"But that won't be as fun" Finn responded

We all got changed unpacked our things and made our way to class first was Professor Ports class

YN's POV
Professor ports class was pretty boring He mostly went on about story's in his younger years than Weiss fought a Boarbatusk and then the bell rang and we made our way to the mess hall. We all took our seats at a table with teams RWBY and JNPR and everyone started talking. I wasn't talking I was to busy looking across the room at a fannus girl as she walked by. She was a rabbit fannus and if I'm being honest she was beautiful. She had amazing brown eyes and long hair that matches the same colour. She has long cute bunny ears sticking out of the top of her head and when she walked by one of the various windows the light painted her with a nice glow. I was lost in thought until Finn spoke to me and nudged me with his elbow knocking me out of my trance "I didn't know you swung that way YN"

"What?"

"I didn't know you were into fannus girls~" Finn cooed

"I-I'm Not!" I said annoyed and blushing

"Really? Cause you were staring at that one for an offaly long time"

"Finn! Shut up" I said pulling my hood over my now very red face

He just laughed before Aubrey brought up a conversation I wanted to stay away from

"So I probably should have asked this sooner but what are your guys opinions on Fannus?"

Even with my hood covering my face I could tell Finn was looking at me I knew why but I wanted to play dumb it might avoid the question

"Finn I told you I'm not into fannus girls!"

"That's not why I'm looking at you it's just you seem to have the most history and the most to explain with this question so I thought you should go first" Finn calmly said

"God dammit, no getting away from it now" I thought

I slowly removed my hood "Hey Aubrey I assume you've heard of the organization 'The Order of Pure Blood'?"

"Of course I have! There one of the biggest anti-fannus groups out there. Why are you asking?" She said the last part with worry

I sighed very hard with my face in my hand "My mother is a very influential member of their council and my dad is her right hand man"

Aubrey fell silent now looking very worried about being near me as did Blake for some reason

I looked directly at her "But let me make this very clear, I have not and will not ever agree with their stance against fannus, I've always found their reasons for not liking fannus stupid, groundless and nonsensical. So please don't let Who my parents are dictate your opinion of me"

I then slunk down in my seat and Aubrey and Blake seemed to become less nervous then Aubrey spoke "Ok"

"What?"

"I trust that you mean what you just said, I mean you were checking one out a minute ago" she said with a smirk

"Shut up!" I said with my face heating up I pulled my hood over my face again and mumbled to myself as everyone else started to laugh

I listened to everyone else's reasons for liking fannus while thinking I was snapped out of my thoughts by hearing something that pissed me off a couple tables down "Ow that hurts!"

I looked only to see an asshole named Cardin Winchester pulling on that fannus from earlier's ears

"Please stop" she said trying to peacefully resolve this

"Ha told you they were real!" Cardin said

"Ha What a freak!" One of his team mates said

I could tell everyone could see how mad I was

"What a bully" Phyrra said

"YN are you ok?" Yang asked I was silent for a couple seconds

"YN!" Finn yelled to get my attention

"What!" I responded glaring at him

He then smirked and said a sentence that made me smile from ear to ear"Raise Some Hell"

I smiled and nodded back and turned my attention back to Cardin as he slapped the girls tray of food into her uniform. I got up from my seat and walked over to intercept the girl as she ran away from the four assholes. She ran into my chest and I gently put my hands on her shoulders she looked at me with fear and tears streaming down her face which only made me more angry. She wiped the tears from her face and I spoke to her in a soothing voice "Hey, watch this" I then walked past her and up to Cardin and his goons.

"What?" She responded with her slight Australian accent which was really damn cute

I saw they were watching my exchange with the girl "You got a thing for freaks or something?" Cardin said with venom in his words

"No I don't have a thing for you" I retorted turning his insult back on him

"What did you say!? I am not the freak here!" Cardin yelled and got up from the table

"Suddenly it reeks of hypocrisy in here" I said with a devilish smirk

He scowled "What do you want you little asshole?"

"I want you to apologize to that fannus girl you bullied or I'm gonna make sure you never walk the same way ever again"I said cockily, I was excited this was a win-win for me if he apologizes that's awesome but if he doesn't I get to let off some steam

"Why the hell would I ever apologize to that bitc-" I cut him off before he could finish the word that would probably make me kill him

"SHUT THE FUCK UP!" I shouted as he took a step back

"You little piece of shit!" He said as he swung at me with his mace and I used my semblance to defend myself

"So we're doing this the fun way" I said in a sadistic tone

I spun my staff off my back and hit him under the chin send him reeling I then ran up to him and kicked him in the chest sending him into his friends

"Well come on man pick it up" I said then spun my staff and got into a resting stance

"Ugghh go get him!" Cardin yelled to his team furiously

I dodged one of his teammates and hit him in the face with the back of my staff sending him reeling I then spun it hitting his two other friends in the face and the one I previously hit in the back of the head. "Come on its not fun if you don't try" I said I could tell I was getting on there nerves at this point but I loved it.

The four of them surrounded me I threw my staff at Cardins face and it hit him then bounced off I caught it and swung behind me hitting his teammates. I then crouched down and spun my staff in a circle hitting all four of them in the shins and making them fall over. I playfully jumped onto Cardins stomach while he was down and placed my staff on his neck "Wanna apologize yet"

"Go to hell"he responded

"Actually I hear it's rather nice this time of year. You should come with me we can make a day out of it" I said trying to sound as annoying as possible

"Do you ever shut up!"

"Not when I know you hate it"

I then got off of his chest just in time for his pawns to get back up. I spun around one who was going for an attack and hit him in the back making him fall onto Cardin who then threw him off. I started blocking all there attacks. I hit them across the face with my staff then threw it at their necks which it then bounced off and I caught it. I poked one in the stomach and hit the other persons legs out from under them making them fall back. I then turned back to the first guy and slapped my staff into his back knocking him down leaving just me and Cardin "I'm starting to get bored Cardin, please just do something interesting" as I rested my head on my staff with my arms folded under my chin.

He charged at me and I kicked my staff and it hit him in leg I ducked his blow and grabbed my staff as it was falling from the kick. I started standing up while repeatedly hitting each side of his body until I stood up fully. I spun around him and hit him in the back of the knee bringing him down then whacked my staff against his neck making him fall onto his stomach I flipped him over and sat cross legged on his chest casual resting my staff against my shoulder "Now you remember this Cardin, if I ever see you bullying that fannus again I'll turn you into a goddamn blood splatter do you hear me!?"

He looked at me with fear and quickly nodded I smiled and lightly tapped his cheek twice then got off of his chest "Good now run along before I decide to do more" I said with a smile

He quickly got up and ran closely followed by his henchman

Velvet's POV
"Did that just happen?!" I watched as the boy that defended me walked back to his table and grabbed his food then walked over to me as I watched in awe. As he approached I was looking for any signs of fannus heritage to justify what he just did "No animal ears, No tail, Eyes look human, No claws, No fangs, maybe he's hiding something under his hoodie but he really does look entirely human" I was then knocked out of my thoughts by his soothing voice. "Is this seat taken?" He asked pointing to the seat beside me

"N-n-no you can sit"

He then sat down beside me "by the way my name is YN LN"

"I'm V-Velvet, Velvet Scarlatina"

"That's a nice name"

"T-thank y-you" My face started to heat up as he said that.

I watched him as he took one thing off of his trey and slid the trey infront of me "quick eat up" he said while biting into the sandwich he took off the trey

"R-really?"

"Yeah go for it"

I began eating there was one question on my mind through out that entire fight I turned to him and decide to ask"Why are you doing this?"

"What do you mean?"

"Being so nice to me. Defending me and giving me food"

"Because you were being discriminated against and I didn't what to let that happen and as for the food I think that speaks for itself" He said pointing at the stains on my shirt from Cardin throwing my food at me

"That's very kind of you YN"

"I try to be"

We kept eating in silence "He's really nice and kinda cute actually...WAIT! Don't think like that you just met him and he's human. Yeah he defended you but I doubt he cares about fannus that much"

YN's POV
I looked up at her ears and noticed that they were more red around where Cardin grabbed them. I remembered Aubrey saying that petting a fannus' ears or tail feels good and I decided to try something. I extended my hand closer to her ears "Can I p-pet y-your ears" Why was I nervous while saying that

"You're not going to pull on them are you" she asked as a tear started to form

"No, No, No its just they look a little hurt and I wanna make it feel better" I said while blushing again "Why do I keep blushing around her" I thought

"Plus I am kinda curious about how they feel" I admitted

She motioned her head a little closer to me and I took that as a sign that she was ok with it. I began at the top of her ears and made my way to the bottom gently stroking them. She blushed and let out a small noise as I did this and she closed her eyes and moved a bit closer to me so my forearm was against the back of her head and our bodies were almost touching which made me blush. "T-thank you mmmhm t-this feels s-s-so nice" She said clearly enjoying this very much

Velvets POV
YN's hand felt amazing stroking my ears it was hard to suppress my purring. I leaned into him a bit more with my eyes still closed and felt something. I opened my eyes and realized I was resting my head on his shoulder and neck as he was stroking my ears. I saw his face was red and he was probably pretty embarrassed about this I quickly moved my body away blushing "S-Sorry about that"

I felt his arm wrap around my shoulder and pull me a little bit closer then he continued to stroke my ears "I-it's ok Velvet" he said still blushing a bit

I felt so safe when we were like this I could stay like this forever but unfortunately the school bell rang "Well I'll see you later YN" I said slightly sad it had to end

"Velvet Wait" I turned and he was taking off his school jacket which he then handed to me

"What's this for?"

"Well you don't wanna sit around all day in a stained jacket do you?"

"O-o-ohh i-it's f-fine YN I don't mind"

"I i-insist" I saw his face turn a little red

"Ok" I smiled and blushed before taking off my jacket and sliding his on

"Wait how will I give you this back" I asked

"just come to my dorm after class and give it back"

"O-o-ok" he gave me his dorm room number we then went our separate ways

YN's POV
I walked back to my friends and they all had goofy smiles on "What?"

"What do you mean 'What?' Tell us how it went lover boy~" Finn said

"Finn! Shut up it's not like that"

"Oh really I watched the whole thing~"

I blushed hard "Y-Y-You Did?"

"You gave her your food, you pet her ears, you two cuddled up together you guys looked adorable together" Finn cooed

I reeled back and punched Finn in the face as he laughed "Stop it!" I said blushing like crazy

"Alright alright" he said as I helped him up

"For all of Finn's teasing he has a point you two do look happy together" Aubrey said

"I would have to agree" Lena said

"Whatever lets just get to class" I said flustered and storming out of the mess hall

We made it to the class it was Dr. Oblecks class and the first thing I noticed was Velvet was in this class she also noticed me and gave me a happy wave. The second thing I noticed was Cardin wasn't to far away I whispered to the group "would it be ok if I sat with her for this class j-just to keep Cardin away" Finn just snickered

"Go for it Lover boy" he whispered back

"Finn I will end you" I said he just kept on walking as I sat beside Velvet

"Hey Velvet"

"Hey YN"

The class started and I was way to focused on trying to figure out what Obleck is drinking he then asked "Have any of you been discriminated against for your heritage"

I looked over to Velvet who hadn't raised her hand I nudged her with my elbow "go on Velvet" She then slowly raised her hand

I zoned out again until I felt the glare of Cardin from behind me I just looked back at him Cardin then got asked a question and said "I know that it is easier to train an animal than a human" he said looking at Velvet

"I have never wanted to be able to blow things up with my mind more in my life" I thought while glaring at Cardin while trying to blow him up with my mind

"You aren't the most open minded of individuals are you Cardin"Phyrra said

"What you got a problem!?" He yelled

"Do you?" I said standing up

He glared at me and started making his way to me as I kept glaring at him "Students this is Not the place for this!" Obleck yelled

Cardin didn't listen and kept making his way to me. As he did I moved in front of Velvet "oh yeah, protect your little bunny bitch" he said with a smirk

I think Velvet could tell I was about to try and punch through his chest because she held my hand behind my back and I heard Aubrey in my head "Stay calm YN"

"You don't honestly want me to sit by and let him say that about Velvet!" I thought

"At least wait until he hits first, then you will get off easier with Goodwitch for this"

"I like the way you think"

I brought my attention back to Cardin who had picked me up by my shirt I just calmly looked at him while still holding onto Velvets hand

"MR.WINCHESTER STOP THIS"Obleck yelled walking up to Cardin

He looked at Obleck than punched me in the face as soon as he punched me I was able to let loose I grabbed onto his wrist and punched him in the crook of his elbow making him drop me then got into a fighting stance

Obleck soon separated us "MR.WINCHESTER SIT DOWN MR.LN SIT DOWN!" He yelled as he and Velvet pulled us apart

Obleck continued with the lesson and a couple minutes after this Mrs.Goodwitch walked and took me and Cardin to Ozpin's office.
