"I shouldn't have saved those people." I mumble to myself as I walk on the side of the road. "Hey hold up." I heard someone say behind me, I turned around and saw the man with the piercing blue eyes run up to me. "Look I don't know what happened but I do know I don't want to fight with you. They mean well you know." He says aa he stops in front of me and catches his breath as I raise an eyebrow. "And you are?" I cross my arms. "Right, I'm Bucky." He says and holds out his hand as I smile sarcastically. "Fuck off Bucky." I turn back around and continue walking. "Come on, we could really use you on the team, they just want to make sure you're not a danger." He says and I turn back around. "Would someone who is a danger save 100 people?" He scratched his neck as he looked down "well no but they're just making sure that what you did to the table in there wouldn't happen to an innocent person." He said and I rolled my eyes before turning to walk again but he grabs my wrist. "Come on if not to prove yourself then do it for a nice warm bed. It's way better than sleeping in abandoned places." He says gently and I groan before walking towards the compound. "Only for the bed."

"Right, let's get it over it." I looked at the table and looked down. "I'm sorry about that and shooting the arrow back at Clinton. I'm not the best at handling my emotions." I felt a hand on my shoulder. "It's okay we get it, we need to know more about you though." I looked up as Steve talked to me and I nodded, he smiled at me before leading me to another conference room and sat me down at the table. Everybody slowly sat down except for Bucky. "Well like Nat said before, I got injected with Serums, I got a double dose of the super soldier serum, I got the same serum that Quicksilver got, rest in peace and instead of using the stone on me like they did for Wanda... they somehow got a serum for it as well and injected me as well. After that I was only treated like a lab rat and trained continuously. The only time I was allowed to sleep is when I literally fell asleep during training. I never wanted to be part of the Black Widows so the day before my graduation I escaped and fled to New York, I have been living in abandoned places ever since." I looked down at my hands as I fidget with my fingers. "Wait those are your serums? I didn't know." Nat spoke up and I sighed. "I know because I wasn't allowed to tell anybody because no one was supposed to know I got another program than them. The only reason you found out is because you saw the scars because the idiots can't inject without leaving scars." I'm still looking at my hands as the room felt silent.

I looked up and saw everybody staring at me. "Please stop staring at me like that and please somebody say something." I looked at all of them as Bucky peeled himself from the wall. "Can we see all of your powers?" He asked and I looked at him, I was unsure about it. "Well I guess so, Nat and Clint have already seen my magic but whatever. Just lead me to where I can show you." They now looked at each other without saying a word. "Are you guys always this quiet?" No one replied and I sighed before spinning on my chair. "Mary, when did you escape exactly?" Nat asked and I stopped spinning "Uhm... 14 years ago." I quickly looked down again as I know what is coming. "YOU'VE BEEN LIVING ON THE STREETS FOR 14 YEARS?!" Nat yelled and I sighed before walking out. "HEY, I'M NOT DONE WITH THIS YET!" She yelled after me and I kept walking. "MARY!" Bucky yelled and I stopped walking. I took a deep breath and turned around to see them all standing there. "Fine. Nat you don't get to scold me for living my life the best way I know how, yes I've been living in abandoned places for 14 years, if I had known you were here I would have come and found you. I mean I kind of knew you were here but didn't know where to look." I rubbed the bridge of my nose. "Now can I show you my powers in action or what?" I groan as I look back at them. They all nod so I turn around and open the front door.

"Okay time me and tell me how far to run." I look at them and Wanda steps up. "Pietro always ran 50 kilometres within 2 minutes." She said and I smiled and nodded. "I can beat that." I cracked my neck and stretched my legs. "Okay ready?" I looked at Wanda who has the stopwatch. "Yeah, 3... 2... 1... GO!" She said and I quickly ran before stopping with a slide in front of them. "And?" I looked at Wanda. "1 minute and 33 seconds" she said and looked at me impressed. "Well we've all seen your strength, show us your magic kid." Tony said and I nodded and looked at Wanda. "Wanna battle?" She smiled and nodded. We took our places far from the others and started battling. "Oh wow, your magic is green?" She asked as I started to play with the magic in my hands. "Oh yeah, at least they gave me my favourite color." I smirked before shooting my magic at her, I wrapped it around her ankle and lifted her up upside down. She shot back at me which made us both drop to the ground. "Okay it is obvious, you can use magic you can stop battling now." Sam said and I looked at Wanda before both laughing. "Not bad kid." She said to me and I smiled. "You're not bad yourself either." We walk back to the others.

"Okay look we believe your story, however it isn't up to us, therefore we have to put you in a holding cell." Steve said and I sighed. "Seriously? Sure whatever. Another lock up." I rolled my eyes annoyed and held out my wrists. "That won't be necessary, just come with me." Bruce said as he started walking towards the compound. I sighed one more time before following him. I looked around me as we walked towards the holding cells, taking in all of the security cameras and all of the rooms. 'Wouldn't mind living here' I thought to myself. "Okay here we are, don't worry the rooms have beds." Bruce said and I shrugged. "I don't need a bed." I walked into the room he just opened up for me. "Thank you Bruce." I sighed and sat down on the floor with my back against the wall.
