All velocirabbits have certain traits. These traits include:
- Sharp teeth, with longer front incisors
   - Low-set ears, though subjects with smaller ears have more maneuverability than those with large ears
   - Long tail
   - Furry tail base
   - Raptor claws on hind feet
- Bipedal stance, giving the appearance of an anthropomorphic animal

Here are some examples of common velocirabbits:

Additionally, there are other traits that can be added to your velocirabbit to make them stand out more. (You can see that Vortex has a few additional traits, like the ridge of feathers down his back and the tuft of fur on top of his head. ^^)

Common traits include:
   - Feathers
   - Extra tufts of fur

Uncommon traits include:
   - Quills
   - Spikes
   - Patches of scales
- Short ears

Rare traits include:
   - Simple horns
   - Fins
   - Lopped (floppy) ears

Restricted (meaning you can only have these from a character that I make and put up for adoption) traits include:
   - Wings (any kind)
   - Complex horns/antlers
   - Additional eyes
   - Multiple tails
   - Elemental abilities (these are dino-rabbits, not dragons!)

Your velocirabbit can have some mutations as well, such as:
   - Abnormally colored fur (as the base color, not as markings) *
   - Rex-type fur (extremely thick and soft fur, like velvet) *
   - Heterochromia (mismatched or multicolored eyes) *
   - Satin-type fur (very shiny/glossy fur. look up a satin rabbit if you need an example) **
   - Wool-type fur (look up an angora rabbit if you need an example) ***
   - Saber fangs ***

The stars next to each mutation above indicates its rarity.

Your velocirabbit will be given a rank based off of how many of each type of trait they have. If they have more common traits, they will be classified as common. If they have more rare traits, they will be classified as rare, and so on and so forth.
