Jungkook leaned against a wall, breathing heavily. He ran a hand through his hair, messing it up in frustration. This wasn't how it was supposed to go. He had come to apologize, to make things right, but instead, he had only made things worse.

His mind replayed the scene over and over, the look on Y/n's face haunting him. "Why did I lose control like that?" he berated himself. "I just wanted to fix things.”

He wiped the blood off his lip, where she had hit him. "She hit me too, so it's the same, right?" he muttered to himself, trying to quell the guilt that churned in his stomach.

He knew he needed to calm down, to think clearly. Maybe there was still a way to make it better, but for now, he needed to give them both some space. Maybe he could find a way to repair the damage he had caused.

Y/N was literally shaking with anger, tears streaming down her face uncontrollably. She had never felt this level of fury before, and it was all directed at Jungkook.

"I can't believe he did that," she whispered, more to herself than anyone else. Her voice trembled, in the rage and pain.

Chaeryeong, standing beside her, looked equally shocked and worried. She hugged Y/n who was crying nonstop.

"Y/N, this is serious. I'm going to tell Jimin," she said, her voice urgent and filled with concern.

Y/N shook her head firmly, wiping at her tears. "No, don't. I don't want to drag anyone else into this.” She can tell Taehyung too, if he got the slightly idea of this, he would k!ll Jungkook. But she doesn't want to tell him. “ I'll handle Jungkook on my own."

Y/N clenched her fists, the resolve hardening in her heart. Jungkook would learn that he couldn't cross this line without facing the consequences. She would make sure of it.

"But Y/N, you shouldn't have to deal with this by yourself. He can't think he can get away with hitting you," Chaeryeong insisted.

Y/N took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. The anger was still there, burning brightly, but so was a newfound determination. "He won't get away with it. I promise you that. But I need to do this my way."

Chaeryeong nodded slowly, though her worry was still evident. "Just... be careful. Gosh why are you even with him? He is so messed up, why are you ruining your life by being with someone like him? Please stay away from him, he is not good for you.”

“I am sorry.” Chaeryeong added. “I said so many harsh things to you because of him. He just gets into my nerves Y/n. I didn't realize how distant he made us siblings. He was giving me so much stress.”

“It was my fault, I trusted him. I am sorry.”

“Take away from him, I am saying this for your own good.”

Y/N managed a small, grateful smile. "I will.”

Y/n came to the living room where Chaeryeong was standing. She blinked, trying to clear the sleep from her eyes, and noticed the vibrant colors surrounding her bed. Roses, lilies, and daisies were scattered everywhere, turning her bedroom into an unexpected garden.

“What is this?” Y/n asked.

“These are sent for you.” Chaeryeong replied.

A smile tugged at her lips as she sat up, her first thought being of Taehyung. He had always known how much she loved flowers.

She reached for her phone to thank him, but a small card on her nightstand caught her eye. She picked it up and froze when she saw the name signed at the bottom: Jungkook.

Her stomach churned. She remembered the last time she saw Jungkook, his face twisted in anger as he hit her.

This wasn’t a gesture of love or care; it was a twisted apology. She felt a wave of disgust wash over her as she let the card fall from her hand.

"I can't believe he thinks flowers can make up for what he did," Y/n said, her voice trembling with a mix of anger and hurt.

Chaeryeong frowned, shaking her head. "You deserve so much better than that, Y/n."

She told the maids to clean the space up.

“Chaeryeong, should we have breakfast together?” She asked. She nodded her head.

She changed the subject, needing something positive to focus on. "Hey, have you thought any more about your dream of becoming a model?"

Chaeryeong's eyes lit up, but there was a hint of hesitation. "Actually, I've been thinking... I want to open an agency for models instead."

Y/n looked at her, surprised. "Really? I always thought you wanted to be in front of the camera."

Chaeryeong smiled, a determined look in her eyes. "I did, but I realized I want to help others achieve their dreams. I want to create a space where models are treated with respect and given real opportunities."

"That's an amazing idea, Chaeryeong. You'll be great at it." Y/n said.

The courtroom was tense,Y/n sat quietly, her hands clasped together in her lap. She didn't want her father to be released; the thought of him returning home sent chills down her spine.

She felt like someone was staring at her, she looked that way and found Jungkook. Who quickly looked away. He can't even look her in the eyes anymore.

Taehyung held her hand, “Are you okay?”

She smiled at him, “Yes, of course, it's nothing.”

The judge called the court to order. They started with revealing the problematic things he has done. Taehyung reveals a huge part of Mr. Park’s life. But there was still a piece that was left.

"We will now view the CCTV footage provided by the prosecution."

“CCTV footage? Of what? Do you have any clue?” She whispered to Taehyung. Who shook his head.

The lights dimmed, and the screen flickered to life. The grainy footage showed Y/n's father, his face contorted with anger, arguing with Y/n's grandfather in his office.

Y/n stared at the footage, it was from the same day her grandpa passed away.

The argument grew heated, and then, to the horror of everyone watching, he lashed out. The older man fell to the ground, motionless.

Gasps filled the room. Y/n felt a wave of nausea. She had known her father was capable of terrible things, but seeing it with her own eyes was almost too much to bear.

He told everyone that he fell from a heart attack and hit his head.

"This footage clearly shows the defendant, Mr. Y/n's Father, committing the act of murder. There is no doubt about his guilt."

Y/n glanced around the courtroom. Faces were pale with shock, eyes wide. Everyone seemed stunned, except for Jungkook, who sat with a calm, almost satisfied expression. He had been the one to uncover the footage, the one to bring the truth to light.

"Your Honor, my client deeply regrets his actions. We ask for leniency given the emotional distress he was under during the argument." The defense attorney said.

"The evidence is irrefutable. Mr. Y/n's Father, you are hereby sentenced to prison for the crime of second-degree murder. This court is adjourned." The judge said.

The gavel hit the desk with a resounding thud. Y/n's father was led away in handcuffs, his face a mixture of rage and despair.

“How can you do that to grandpa?! All he ever did was think of us! And you paid him like this?! I can't believe you are Even his son!” Y/n yelled at him, with tears falling off her face. She was held back by Taehyung. As the police took him away.

Y/n's mother, her eyes sunken and her face pale, stood in the prison visitation room, her hands shaking as she held out a homemade meal.

Y/n's Mother forced a smile, “I made your favorite, dear. I know you're doing well here, but I wanted to bring a taste of home to you.”

Y/n's father, oblivious to her pain and anger, took the meal from her, he always been nice and loving to his wife, because she is the woman he married to, he can't treat her like how he treated other women.

“ Ah, my favorite! You always knew how to take care of me, my dear.”

He dug in, savoring each bite, while Y/n's mother watched, her eyes filling with tears.

Y/n's Mother’s voice trembles, “Yes, I always took care of you. But you never took care of me. You never loved me. You only loved yourself.”

Y/n's father stopped eating. “No, honey I love you the most, it's all Y/n’s fault. I knew from the start she would be a trouble and she indeed is.”

Y/n's Mother’s eyes flashing with anger, “You never deserved me. You never deserved our daughter's love.”

He finished the meal, unaware of the poison that had been added to it, and smiled at her.

“That was delicious, my dear. You always were a wonderful cook.” He held her hand. “I know the whole world would be against me but not you.”

She smiled. “Of course,”

Y/n's mother's face contorted in a mix of sadness and rage as she watched him, knowing that he would soon pay for his crimes.
