FLASHBACK
That night when Taehyung came to her room. She stared at his eyes, his eyes showing he loves her. Then why does his words don't match with his actions?
The thought of him not loving her and just using her was suffocating her enough to the point she burst out loud in tears.
He was surprised by her suddenly crying like this. She leaned her head on the wall while crying.
“Y/n,” He hugged her but she pushed him.
“Just leave, please. I can't take this anymore.” She said, “I don't know why, when I was with Jungkook for years I could still walk away from that relationship. But you, your words, your actions, everything is pushing me away, yet my mind and heart is betraying me and want to trust you.”
She fell on her knees because of crying too hard. He sat beside her and hugged her. “I am sorry,” he mumbled, seeing her cry like this was breaking his heart.
“I am really sorry,” He kissed her forehead. “I lied. I have been lying since I came back. I never used you, and I still love you a lot.”
She stared at him confused and surprised. Taehyung then explained everything to her. He told her how her father was involved in this and then later Jungkook was added in this too.
And he had to act clueless so these two men think that Taehyung is dumb and don't take him seriously. He also explained to her about Hanni and his situation and how he thinks of her as a younger sister.
She never felt so many emotions at the same time, she was angry, relieved, mad, sad and what now. Suddenly she felt mad at Taehyung, she hit his chest.
“What? Why did you lie? You assh0le! Why did you take so long to tell me about all this huh? You know how much I have cried over you? I was so worried about you, and when you came back you divorce me! I hate you so much!” She exclaimed while hitting his chest.
“I am sorry, I didn't get a chance to tell you, I was waiting for the right time. And stop acting innocent, you went back to Jungkook.” He replied.
“Yes, because the way you acted and made me believe all the things you have done, Jungkook seemed innocent In Front of you. You are just awful Tae. How can you even lie about such things?” She asked.
“Innocent? He is a complete jerk. Even when I want to believe he suffered because of your father or me. He just made his suffering irrelevant by his actions which are just becoming disgusting each day,” Taehyung said.
“He was involved in this and caused harm to you, that asshole, what does he think? Gosh, I hate myself for feeling bad for him.” She said, after knowing what his father did to his mother Y/n felt guilty and hence gained a soft corner for Jungkook but as Taehyung said his suffering is irrelevant now because of his actions. “Gosh, I even went against dad for him, what does he want? Why is he so selfish? I swear I am going to k!ll him,”
“Stop here, honey. He does love you.”
“Oh he doesn't, even if I don't give a fck anymore. His actions are making me feel sick.” She said.
“Yeah, but don't let him know that we are together. I want him to at least realize what he is doing is wrong. Stay with her and act the way he wants you to act. Maybe he realizes his fault after believing that you love her and divorce Chaeryeong.” Taehyung exclaimed.
“I don't want to even breathe near him,” Y/n said.
“Just once, just act like you can do anything for his love.”
PRESENT TIME
Taehyung cupped her face as he kissed her deeper. They were meeting each other days after pretending like they hate each other's existence.
How many months has it been since they were this close? 7 months, 3 weeks and 2 days.
He hates everyone who caused them to be away from each other.
He caressed her back and stopped kissing her. He didn't pull back from her and waited for her to stop kissing him she did and looked at him confused.
She cupped his face. “What happened, are you okay?”
He shook his head. “No, I want to commit reckless homicide.”
“You saved Jungkook life and now you want to k!ll him?” She asked.
“Yes, I have The right to k!ll Jungkook. Not your father.” He replied. She hugged him and caressed his hair. He closed his eyes, he truly missed being around her and this. She melts away his stress and anger. Being around her provides him peace.
“Don't think about him.” She said Jungkook has only disappointed her. Even when she acted the way he wanted her to act, Jungkook still didn't realize his fault and tried to exploit her.
“I don't want you to think about him either. You were actually crying, I told you to not waste your tears over him.” He said. Even when Taehyung already told her about Jungkook cheating on her. But still when she confronted Jungkook she couldn't control her tears.
“I wasted my teenage years and most of my life on him. And he was never even serious about me. No matter what I do, I can't get those years back. Which is painful.” She said
“We can't change the past can we?” He asked.
He made her sit on the passenger seat. “You are coming with me tonight. Do you want to have dinner with me?”
She nodded. “Yes, I am hungry.”
He smiled and pecked her lips. “You look stunning, baby. We can't let this dress go to waste.”
Jungkook stands at the entrance of the parking lot, eyes narrowing as he spots Y/n and Taehyung in the same car, talking animatedly. His heart sinks and anger bubbles up inside him.
Jungkook was furious. It doesn't make sense how all those girls end up in the same place.
All of them were not even Korean. He would sleep with these girls during his time outside Korea.
He knew who was behind all this. He was not okay with this. He was so close to his goal until Taehyung ruined it.
Jungkook approaches Taehyung, who’s still in the driver's seat. He noticed Jungkook coming there. “What now?” Y/n asked.
“Nothing. Face him.” Taehyung said,
“ Taehyung, what the hell? You called those girls? Y/n he is manipulating you,” Jungkook said as he opened the door of Y/n’s side. Taehyung steps out of the car, his expression calm but his eyes sharp.
Jungkook was about to pull Y/n out of the car but Taehyung stopped him. “Talk to me, she doesn't want to talk to you anymore.”
“Stay away from this, Y/n purposely did this. He wants to ruin our relationship.” Jungkook said.
“It was your fault, Jungkook. You cheated on Y/n. She deserves to know the truth.” Taehyung replied. “I have video proof too.’
Jungkook's hands ball into fists, his rage intensifying.
“You had no right to do that! That was between me and Y/n! You will never understand my point of view.”
Taehyung stands his ground, his own anger simmering beneath the surface. “I don't want to understand your disgusting point of view.”
Jungkook steps forward, his voice trembling with fury.
“Stay out of my business, Taehyung!” Jungkook growled.
“It's an insult that you say you love her when you were ready to share her with me. You don't know what loyalty is. You took dad genes for that.” Taehyung said.
Without warning, Jungkook throws a punch, hitting Taehyung hard in the jaw. Taehyung staggers back, then steadies himself, his eyes flashing with anger.
Taehyung launches himself at Jungkook, and they collide with a thud, fists flying. They grapple, knocking into a nearby car, setting off its alarm. Y/n was watching them, and didn't know how to stop these two.
“ You think you can hurt people and get away with it?” Taehyung said through gritted teeth.
“Stop fighting!”
The fight escalates, both of them throwing punches and grappling with each other, their movements wild and desperate. They crash onto the asphalt, the sounds of their struggle drowned out by the car alarm.
“Stay out of my life, Taehyung!” Jungkook said
“Not until you face the consequences of your actions!” Taehyung exclaimed.
Their fight continues until they both collapse onto the ground, exhausted and panting, staring at each other with a mixture of anger and sorrow.
“It is my fuckin fault that I choose to protect you dying when Mr. Park tried to k!ll you.” Taehyung exclaimed.
“What are you saying?” Jungkook asked, confused.
“That night, Mr. Park wanted me to bring you there and he wanted you to d!e. But no, at that time I was thinking you don't deserve to d!e. And got myself into trouble. But I think you deserve to d!e. You are an assh0le.” Taehyung said. Jungkook knew Mr. Park was behind Taehyung being missing but Jungkook didn't know the reason not Mr. Park ever mentioned it.
At that time, Jungkook was more focused on Y/n and getting her back in his life.
“Stop lying. Why would you do that? Why would you risk your life for me?” Jungkook said.
“Because asshole you are my younger brother.” He replied.
The parking lot falls silent except for their heavy breathing and the distant sound of the car alarm, the aftermath of their fight leaving them both raw and exposed.
Jungkook was silent for a few seconds before he yelled. “There is no way you would do that for me, like why would you do that?”
Y/n finally spoke, “It’s useless to do anything for you, Jungkook. Because you are selfish, and don't love anyone. So you believe that no one can love you or do anything for you either without any reason.”
Jungkook was just surprised and didn't know what to say, he didn't believe Taehyung's words.
“You knew he had me but except for helping me you were trying to find your benefit.” Taehyung exclaimed.
“Why would I help you? You can d!e I don't give a fck about you. I hate you so much! Why do you even exist in my life?” He said.
“Grow the fck up Jungkook,” Taehyung said and he looked at Y/n’s way telling her to get in the car and she did. He sat back in the car.
__
“Will it be okay for us to be together like this?” Y/n asked.
“Why are you afraid of us being in my room?” Taehyung asked. Y/n shrugged her shoulders. He pulled her into the bed and hugged her tightly. “The bed had lost its scent. I couldn't sleep without you.”
She chuckled. “You were making me cry by playing this divorce and Hanni drama, it was your fault.”
“You cried for me? I don't think so. You didn't look excited to see me.” Taehyung said.
“Yah! I wasn't excited because when we met you divorce me. I waited months for you! You idiot I was going insane without you and when you came back you said you just used me! How hurtful it was for me!” She exclaimed
He nodded his head. “I know, I couldn't have come out of the situation your father put me in without that. If I hadn't acted that way, Hanni and her family could have gotten in trouble because of me. But Sorry for hurting you. How can I make it up for you?”
He held her hand gently. She stared at him, just the fact he actually loves her was enough to make it up for her.
“I will forever stay mad at you for that.” She replied.
“Aww love, then I will forever feel guilty for hurting you and saying disgusting things to you which I can't even imagine.” He kissed her hand.
“I realized something in the months you were with me,” She said.
“What?” He asked. She realized how much she loved him.
“Nothing.” She replied. Taehyung raised his eyebrow.
“Is there anything you are not telling me?” Taehyung asked.
“Yes,” She replied. But he wasn't convinced.
“You are not thinking of leaving me right?” He asked.
“No, you are not that lucky. You are stuck with me.” She said, “And where is my fcking ring? Are you going to marry me again or not?”
Taehyung shook his head. “Who said I am marrying an annoying girl like you again? Who cries over a loser’s shoulder behind my back?”
She gasped, “I only did that once! Because I thought you cheated. Just leave it, I don't want to marry an assh0le like You either. You are saying as if you didn't bring home a fake girlfriend.”
“I didn't cry to my fake girlfriend or kiss her.” He said.
“Stop bringing this up!” She exclaimed, she covered her face, “Ahh that jerk! At that moment I thought he was the only one who cared. I had no idea how disgusting he was. I don't even want you to remind me of that.”
“Good to see you are ashamed, like you should. Your standards are cheap.” he said.
“Are you calling yourself cheap? Because Now my standard is you.” she asked. He shook his head.
“Your standards and values have both been raised because of me. See this is what happens when you decide to be with a man who really knows how to love you.” He said.
“You are so full of yourself.” She shook her head. She laid her head over his chest.
“You can be full of me too.” He said. She slapped her chest.
“Stop,”
He chuckled and kissed forehead. “I love you.”
“Good night.” She replied, and closed her eyes.
Taehyung stared at her. “What about ‘I love you too’?”
“No ring, no I love you.” she said. He sighed, and wrapped his arms around her.

Jimin stands near the window, looking out with a furrowed brow. His mind races with questions about Hanni and her knowledge of his father.
He has told someone to keep eyes on her to find out where she goes, who she meets. He needs to talk to her to understand how she knows so much about his father. He needs to confirm that he is not making everything up.
He finally received a call telling Jimin where Hanni is so he could meet her. “Talk to her, tell her I am coming to meet her.” Jimin said.
~”Okay, I will.” Minho, the guy who was following her for Jimin said.
She was walking briskly. Minho was walking behind her, he was about to call her but suddenly, the sound of a gun being cocked breaks the silence. She freezes, eyes widening.
Before Hanni can react, a shot rings out. She crumples to the ground, clutching her side, blood seeping through her fingers.
~“Minho, what's happening?” Jimin asked on the phone.
Minho, hidden around the corner, whispers urgently into his earpiece. “She's been shot, Jimin. It's bad.”

Chaeryeong just woke up and she wanted to make coffee for herself, she wanted some alone time, but she saw Y/n. It was not surprising for her that Y/n is here, she thought Jungkook must have brought Y/n here. But what confused her was that she was with Taehyung.
Chaeryeong blinked in confusion. She had assumed Y/N was only involved with Jungkook, but here she was, looking entirely too comfortable with Taehyung.
Her mind raced as she headed straight for Y/N and Taehyung.
"Y/N, can I talk to you for a second?" Chaeryeong's voice was tight, barely concealing her agitation.
Y/N looked up, surprised, and exchanged a glance with Taehyung before standing up. "Sure, what's up?"
Taehyung holds her hand and stops Y/n. “What do you want to talk? Talk here.”
“Taehyung, she is my sister, I can talk to her In privacy I don't need your permission.” Chaeryeong said Y/n told Taehyung she is okay with talking to her.
Chaeryeong led Y/N to a quieter corner of the house, her frustration boiling over. "What do you think you're doing? First Jungkook, now Taehyung? Do you ever consider just being single for a while? Or you just enjoy attention.”
Y/N's eyes widened, and then she frowned. "Maybe you should try dating for once instead of acting so moody all the time.”
The words hit Chaeryeong harder than she expected, “I am not like you, I take time to know someone and want to make sure the other person wants to marry me. But you can't relate can you? It's so normal for you to be someone's toy for years. Jungkook played you, and now Taehyung too, but as shameless as you, you are still around these brothers.”
Before Y/n could respond, Taehyung approached them, concern etched on his face. "Is everything okay here?"
Chaeryeong glanced between Y/N and Taehyung, her anger giving way to a mix of embarrassment and hurt. "It's nothing. Just forget it." She turned on her heel and walked away, ignoring Taehyung's outstretched hand and Y/N's puzzled look.
She hurried back to her room. Once inside, she closed the door behind her and leaned against it, taking a deep breath to steady herself.

Jungkook's phone pressed to his ear. He listened intently to the voice on the other end, a slight furrow in his brow. The conversation was brief, and with a curt nod, he hung up the call.
He turned to face Mr. Park, who sat behind the thick glass of the jail visitation room. The older man's eyes were sharp, his expression calm, almost smug. Jungkook took a deep breath and leaned closer to the glass, his voice low but firm.
"The work is completed," Jungkook informed him.
Mr. Park's eyes gleamed with satisfaction. "Good."
Jungkook can't believe he is doing favors for Mr. Park, but in a situation like this where he wants to show himself as his ally not enemy.
He does feel guilty, Jungkook doesn't even know Hanni. But he was furious last night and agreed to help Mr. Park.
"But was it really necessary to harm Hanni?" Jungkook pressed, his tone betraying a hint of anger.
Mr. Park's expression hardened. "Yes, it was. She knew too much. Loose ends need to be tied up."
Jungkook's jaw tightened remembering Taehyung's words. "Did you try to kill me too?"
Mr. Park's face remained impassive as he lied, "I never wanted to kill you, Jungkook. I never cared about your existence, whether you die or live.”
Jungkook's eyes narrowed, searching for any flicker of truth in Mr. Park's words. Finding none, he straightened up. "Taehyung, He's behind all of this. He was lying, He wants you to stay behind bars."
Mr. Park's expression didn't change, but there was a dangerous glint in his eyes. "Taehyung has his own agenda. But if he's in your way, you need to push him off the track. Do whatever it takes. Once Taehyung is out of the picture, you can have anything you want with Y/N."
Jungkook's fists clenched at his sides, his mind racing with the implications of Mr. Park's words.
He glanced once more at the man behind the glass, then turned on his heel and walked away.
Jungkook decided to go home, he is not sure to call it a home, he still hates this house, he never felt like home here, his mind swirling with thoughts of Y/N.
She had been his escape, his sanctuary, a bright spot in the darkness. But now, he felt like he had lost that light because of his own mistakes.
As he walked into the living room, he was met by Chaeryeong, her arms crossed and her expression cold. She didn't wait for him to speak.
"We need to talk," she said, her voice laced with impatience. "I want a divorce. I'm seeing a lawyer tomorrow."
“Not you again, marriage is indeed a headache.” Jungkook closed his eyes for a moment, trying to steady himself. "I don't want to talk about this right now, Chaeryeong. You should be focusing on your dad being in jail rather than bringing another case to court."
Chaeryeong's eyes flashed with anger. "Don't you dare use my father against me. This isn't about him. This is about us. Or rather, the lack of 'us.' “
He looked away, unable to meet her gaze. "You know why I can't divorce you right now."
She let out a bitter laugh. "Of course, I know. You made sure the contract is ironclad. You've trapped me in this marriage for your own convenience."
"Convenience?" Jungkook echoed, his own anger rising. "This isn't convenient for anyone."
Chaeryeong shook her head, her voice dropping to a more resigned tone. "You should have made that kind of contract with Y/N, not with me. “
Her words hit him like a punch to the gut. Jungkook turned to face her, "Chaeryeong, I—"
She cut him off. “Just know that I'm done being part of this. I'll find a way out, contract or no contract. You deserve to be with Y/n.”
Jungkook smiled. “Thank you, I also believe that.”
She brushed past him, leaving him standing alone. Jungkook sank onto the couch, his head in his hands. His world was falling apart, and he didn't know how to stop it.
