Heather

It was finally the weekend and I was ready to stay over at Alex's house and will return on Monday when she takes me to school because my mom allowed it. I was packing my stuff for Alex's house when my mom came over and told me that she was here waiting for me in the living room. I grabbed my bag and cabbage patch doll and headed into the living room to see her sitting on the couch talking to my step-father.

"Hey Heather, you ready to go?" She asked.

"Yes. I packed everything in my bag." I replied as she took it for me as we waved goodbye and headed into her car. 

I got in the backseat and buckled in while she put my bag beside me and got inside of the passenger seat. 

"What are we going to do today?" I asked.

"Well, I heard that the fair is in town and your parents were looking forward to taking you there. So, they asked me to take you instead due because of of their jobs." She said and I nodded leaning back against the seat.

I watch the trees and some houses as we passed by it and headed up to the fair. When we arrived at the fair I was thrilled to be there and have a good quality time with games, rides, and prizes!

I won a couple of games and Alex won 12 in a row! We went for a ride on the ferris wheel and carousel until it was lunch time.

"What would like to have?" Alex asked.

"Uh, I want French fries, cola, and popcorn please." I asked as she ordered my food and her own.

We sat and chat for a good while until it was time to go, but I refused to go.

"Alex, one more game please??" I begged.

"One game and that's it." She said.

I looked around to find a a sledge hammer challenge to see if it could hit the bell.

"I want to play that game." I said.

"Okay."

We walked over to the man who stood beside the bell ringer stand.

"Ticket please. "He said.

I gave him my ticket and looked over to see a big unicorn. I want it. So I used all my strength to slam the button only to get at least 36%.

"Better luck next time." He said.

"I'll try." Alex said.

"Ha, a lady trying this thing out? That's a surprise. "He said in a bluff tone.

Alexandra glared at him and said, "Heather hand over the hammer."

I gave her the hammer as she used all her strength to slam it onto the button as it slam up and down five times. Everyone was looking at us amazed even the man was shocked.

"No way." I said.

"I would like that big unicorn please." Alex said as he handed it over to her and thanked him.

"That was amazing!" I exclaimed.

"Its all in the muscle and these fellas should never judge a woman or they'll be underestimated. Now, let's go to my place."

I knew something that I wasn't expecting to see or learn from Alex. She's something else compared to other people I never knew I would meet.
