Long Time No See

It's been quite a while ever since Alexandra had saved the little girl who was meant to be murdered in bed that was occasionally saved by her. Now she kept Judith in her hands to look after as her new mother before her father could even murder the two.

"I want everyone in this meeting to focus on the big screen here. What would the world most likely have without any disruptions in animal living habits? Because the animals that are living in parts of the forest are precisely getting killed or hunted by us-and if we continue this the population will decrease." A co-worker Matthew Peke was doing the introduction about the animal survival task that is in need of help.

"Should we volunteer for helpers to secure the forest park and search for any dangerous signs before the animal could reach them?" Rick Ross asked on the left side of the room.

"We could try, but it's going to take a whole team to put them at risk. This has been going on for years and if we don't stop it now we'll never have any more animals to live in this world." Matthew said.

"Thank you, Matthew.  Your presentation about our population of animal life is indeed a problem we have to fix." He said.

"Now then, I will have to call Alexandra up to stand for her presentation."  The boss said.

There was silence in the room when Alexandra was not around to be apart of the presentation until the Boss watch beeps which was a message from her.

It read, 'I'm on widescreen and I couldn't make it because of my daughter's play for Children All Around The World.'

"Play her on widescreen. She's doing more important things since she couldn't make it." The Boss said.

One of them turns on the screen to see Alexandra in view as she was in a room waiting for the play to start and she was early because it starts around 9:20 AM.

"Miss. Oak, are you ready to present your presentation?" The Boss asked.

"Yes, sir. I have been doing some research and observation about the city that may have a solution. In which case that I have found some interesting things like for criminals that are the issue."

"...Go on."

"I have created or-ask a worker of mine to invent a high tech-camera that can capture the crooks in their hide places and they can be spotted outside or hidden in places so that they can't see it. This will help us catch the criminals and most importantly get rid of drugs that they tried to give away or hide too."

"I like the idea. Do you have that high tech-camera with you?"

"No, sir. It's at home and I'll send it to you when the play is over." She said.

"Right. Thank you for your presentation and enjoy your daughter's show for today."

"Thanks you too."

Alexandra

I knew that today was an important day for me when I had to get to work and present a helpful device so that people will be safe and not be around criminals. However, I had to take a day off because I promised Judith that I would make it to her play so that she will be happy. When the play started I watch her play as an American girl with the other kids playing as different countries around the world. I've helped her practice the lines for 2 weeks before the play and she remembers them very well as she did back in the '80s for commercials and movies. As the play ended I got up to applause and so did the other parents that followed my lead.

I waited for Judith to come out of the gymnasium so we can go get ourselves a treat and head home.

"Mommy! Did you see me perform on stage and I remember my lines really good." Judith said.

"Yes, I saw you and it was amazing." I smiled.

"Mrs. Jackson said I did an outstanding job to perform on stage too." She said.

"I bet. Let's go get ourselves a treat for putting on a good show."

We went outside to get inside of my car to head down to ColdStone. On the way there, I sat with her and ate as we chatted along about the play when I saw my co-worker Justin coming inside with a little boy.

"Hey, Justin." I greeted.

He looked over at me and smiled a little. He gestures the boy to come over to where we are as he stood in front of our table.

"Hey, I see you didn't go to work either?" He asked.

"No. I took a day off to visit my daughter's play. You?" I asked.

"I took a day off too. I had to look after my nephew Eric."

"Nice to meet you, Eric."

"Hi, I'm Judith."

"Hi," He greeted shyly.

"Would you like to sit with us after you order your ice cream?" I asked.

"Of course. Come on Eric, let's go order some ice cream and then sit with them."

Justin and Eric went to go order a mixture of ice cream as Judith smirked.

"You like him~" She teased.

"Judy don't you dare even think about it." I tickled her side as she giggled in response.

I may have saved her life and she is the sweetest little girl I have.
