Gluten Free Sunflower Peep Brownie
This cute dessert that you can make the day before for Easter is fun and really easy to make. And it is gluten free.
~Ingredients:
-Brownie:
1 Small Box of Gluten Free Brownie Mix.*
20 Peeps.**
1/2 Cup Chocolate Chips.
1/2 Cup Mini Chocolate Chips.
-Chocolate Ganache:
9 oz.Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips.
1/2 Pint Heavy Cream (about 1 cup).
~Directions:
Step 1: Follow the recipe on the box and bake the brownies. You will be using a round pan.
Step 2: Line a round cake pan with parchment paper.
Step 3: After the brownie is done, flip it over and peel off the parchment paper.
Step 4: Making the Ganache: Pour the chocolate chips in a medium sized bowl.
Step 5: Put the heavy cream in a small sauce pan.
Step 6: Heat the cream over medium heat, just until it starts to boil.
Step 7: Pour the cream over the chocolate chips.
Step 8: Stir until it turns dark and creamy.
Step 9: Pour over the brownies.
Step 10: Place peeps around the outside of the brownie.
Step 11: Put the mini chips in the center of the brownie.
Step 12: Place the rest of the regular chocolate chips around the outside of the mini ones.
~Recipe Notes:
*We used King Arthur's Brownie Gluten Free Brownie Mix.
**The peeps are also gluten free.
1) We couldn't decide whether to place the peeps facing up or down, so we did it both ways XD
