3rd person pov

Y/N: She screamed in pain, i mean how is that possible?

Lilith: Your guess is as good as mine. By the way, where are Maya and Gaige?

Y/N: They're off convincing Claptrap to join and help us

Brick: Why aren't you helping, Slab?

Y/N: Honestly? I'd rather get my arm eaten again then ask for help from Claptrap, he's just so... unbearable

Over in the dingy back alley where Claptrap stayed, the two women looked to the small robot as he danced on the spot. Looking to eachother they seemed to be regretting it but Maya sighed.

Claptrap: Minions! Let's go to Thousand Cuts! I enlisted you as my minions, then Angel happened to attack Sanctuary. Don't you get it!? Jack's coming after ME! It's time to take the fight to him! I'll meet you there

He strolled off as Gaige shrugged, his voice feeling slightly grating on their ears but Maya sighed in relief, running a hand through her hair as they made their way towards where everyone else was.

Gaige: So... you ready?

Maya: Yeah, i mean, we have an army of bandits behind us, so it'd be really stupid if we lost

Gaige: I know, but, Hyperion's defences have been getting harder and harder. I just... think that one of us might die

She rubbed her arm, hanging her head slightly but Maya put a hand on her shoulder causing Gaige to look to the Siren as she offered her a small smile, patting her shoulder.

Maya: I won't let that happen, given Y/N's upbringing, i'm sure he'll cry like a baby if one of us did

Gaige: Hehe... yeah, probably. I wouldn't want that to happen

Maya: Me neither, so let's make sure he won't

Timeskip

Walking through Brick's old bandit camp they saw a Hyperion gate not too far from where they were, going towards it a group of Loaders were shot down from Helios and onto the battlefield.

Y/N: If only it could go smoothly

Maya: Yeah, but did you expect anything else to happen?

Y/N: No, sadly not

He reached into his back pocket and pulled out a small canister with the liquid inside. Tossing it at the Loaders Y/N shot it out the air causing the odd coloured liquid to splash on the Hyperion attackers.

Gaige: What was that, gasoline?

Maya: Smells horrible

Y/N: It's something i... don't want to explain how i got

A few crys were heard before a group of Stalkers came out and began attacking the Loaders. Y/N began walking forward, looking back to Maya and Gaige before gesturing for them to hurry up.

They did, catching up with him and seeing Claptrap spray painting himself and his name on a piece of Hyperion property. He looked to them before throwing the can away and turning to the gate.

Claptrap: Minions!

Y/N: Throw yourself in a trash compactor

Claptrap: Ha, such a kidder! Anyway, i've started my attack! I'm gonna tag every inch of this mountain if it's the last thing i do! We're gonna make him regret ever setting shop up on this rock! It'll take him minutes to clean all this off, MINUTES I SAY!

He rolled towards the gate, simply passing through it as the three stood outside, waiting for him to lower the defences for them as they'd simply be disintegrated if they tried.

Claptrap: Oh, right, none of you are Hyperion robots, i forget that sometimes

Going towards a panel he began trying to deactivate the kill barrier, but by some slim chance he accidently activated the turrets making Y/N's expression drop and Claptrap awkwardly chuckled.

Maya took out her shotgun, firing at one before tossing it at the turret and making it explode. It reappeared in her hands as Gaige threw her longbow grenade, attaching to the turret it caused it to explode as well.

Claptrap: Aaaaaand open!

The barrier deactivated so they walked past the gate, a road block stood infront of them however. But a handful of Buzzards began flying towards it as the three looked in slight confusion.

Brick: Got some Buzzards heading your way, Slabs

Claptrap: I will defend you to the death, minions!

As the bombs blew up the road block and Hyperion turrets in adjacent towers a good number of Loaders could be seen making Claptrap jump and turn tail as Y/N pulled out his gun.

Claptrap: No i won't!

Y/N: Come on, act as a shield for us!

He rolled away as Y/N sighed, turning around after watching him leave Y/N took aim and sniped a Bul-Loader, watching it twitch before exploding as Gaige brought out Deathtrap.

She used it to dash through and stab and Ion-Loader as it began making its shield, soon spinning it before throwing the Loader off the edge as they started to advance up the road.

Jack: You broke through the barrier? That's cute, but the bunker will still shred you alive, but uh... cute

A few Jet-Loaders were flying around causing Y/N to sigh, he began following them as he tried to find a good time to shoot but one suddenly froze in the air as Maya used her Phaselock on it.

He smiled, shooting it a few times before the corrosion melted it away. Gaige saw a few Hyperion soldiers run at them so taking oit her pistol she set them ablaze as they worked their way up the road.

The second Jet-Loader came towards them but Deathtrap used its laser and shot out one of it's engines causing it to sputter and spin in the air before crashing into a building.

Two War-Loaders dropped down so Gaige swapped out her pistol for her Assault rifle and began shooting at it's hinges as Deathtrap floated around and took slashes at the Loader.

Y/N tossed a grenade at it but Maya stopped it with Phaselock causing him to sigh as his arm opened. Turning the handle he mowed it down, rattling it with bullets before the grenade was released and exploded.

The child grenades destroyed whatever was left of it, however the loss of the defences caused a door to open and a Constructor flew out. Before they could do anything it wad struck by a bombardment of bombs from the Slab Buzzards.

Brick: My boys have got you covered, Slabs! Now go and head towards the Bunker, but be weary of the mortar fire

Y/N: Thanks Brick

Maya: Well then, lets move
