(Feeling really shitty, not gonna be a long chapter today... god, i need to get my act together and deliver something decent for all of you who deserve it)

3rd person pov

Y/N: Bloodwing's close, apparently

Climbing into a lift they began taking it down to a large arena looking place. There was no sign of Bloodwing, for some reason which confused them. When it stopped they got off and looked around.

Jack: Want Bloodwing back, huh? Shame- i've been doing some really interesting Eridium experiments with her. Hate to see her go, but heck with it. She's all yours

A hatch opened up and a platform rose, carrying a giant slagged bird. Their eyes widened upom realising that it was Bloodwing, she let out a loud screech while speeding her wings.

She flew up as Mordecai was in absolute shock. Bloodwing flew around as the three hesitated to take their weapons out considering that she was technically an ally to them.

Jack: Just give it up. Bloodwing's got ALL the elements at her disposal! Fire! Electricity! Corrosion! Slag! And... ah, damn. I forgot the last one

Mordecai: God damnit! Just... weaken her and i'll hit her with a tranq

Bloodwing dove towards them so they took out their weapons and dodged, Y/N took aim and tracked her as he struggled to find good timing. Stopping at the lift she spun around before lighting on fire.

Jack: Fire! Right, fire... but what else is there?

She somehow shot out a fire ball so Maya pulled Y/N out the way, Gaige shooting at the enlarged bird before it flew out of their range. He recouperated, thanking Maya before taking aim again.

As Bloodwing came back to them he fired, getting her but it didn't seem to do as much as he thought it would. She dove towards Gaige and nearly grabbed her with her own claws but luckily Gaige dodged.

The bird flapped it's wings to take herself up so Maya took the opportunity and fired a slag rocket at her, hitting Bloodwing making her screech. Being slagged they were able to do a bit more damage to her.

Gaige tossed her longbow grenade, catching Bloodwing's left wing causing her to fly back to the platform and spin around before sparking with electricity as they took steps back.

Jack: Electricity! Electricity, slag, fire. Corrosion's coming up next- what am i forgetting?

Mordecai: You're gonna regret taking Bloodwing into this- i'll make sure you watch her tear yoir throat out!

Jack: Heh heh, that's cute

A bolt of electricity hit Y/N, taking out his shield causing him to yelp in pain and stumble back. His arm opened up before he dropped to one knee and fired at Bloodwing as she flew away.

He shot in front of her, catching her talons making the bird spin around as she dove down and out of their sight. Soon she came back up as they reloaded, going after Maya but the siren had other plans.

Sliding under Bloodwing's claws she used Phaselock, struggling to hold her in place as a series of grenades exploded under the bird. She soon broke free, flying off ad Maya panted.

Y/N took a moment, his shield beginning to regen. Taking out his pistol he peaked around his small cover, Bloodwing going towards the platform so he unloaded all his bullets, hitting her.

She screeched in pain before becoming corrosive, hurling a large puddle of corrosion at Gaige but only hitting what she was standing on so she jumped off as Bloodwing took off.

Jack: Corrosion... yeah, i remember that one. Come on, what's last?

Divebombing she went towards the three but luckily they managed to evade it, Maya pulling out her rocket launcher agian and firing at Bloodwing. Hitting her Y/N and Gaige came out and opened fire at the now slagged bird.

She let out a few sounds before something hit her from a distance, falling to the ground Bloodwing seemed to be sedated so they approached her. Y/N pulled the microchip off her collar before s few beeping sounds could be heard.

Jack: Oh, now i remember! EXPLOSIVE!

Mordecai: NOOOOOOO!

Her head exploded causing Y/N to take a few steps back in shock, looking to the microchip his hands shook as he thought all this was his fault. Pocketing it his stood there in shock as Gaige placed a hand on his shoulder.

Jack: Ah, damnit. I had a violin, and i was gonna play it all sarcastically. BLAKE! WHERE'S THE BLOODY VIOLIN!?

Timeskip

Jack: Alright, sweet, sweet, found it. Alright. This is a song for Mordecai's stupid bird. In E

Eargrating noises of a horribly played violin could be heard as Y/N let out an annoyed sigh. He rubbed his temples before it stopped and Jack dropped the Violin.

Jack: Alright, y'know what, screw you, it would've been hilarious if i found it earlier. Shut up!

Flopping his head against a table he groaned, not wanting to be reminded of what he basically did. Mordecai wasn't mad at him, but Y/N couldn't help but be mad at himself.

Angel A.I: Look... if it wasn't you, then Maya or Gaige would've done it. You just saved them from experiencing it

Y/N: I know, but... i've never killed an ally. Bandits, sure, Bloodwing was on our side though

Angel A.I: It's okay. We'll get Jack back for this, i promise you

Y/N: ...I'll hold you to that. Besides, i don't think anyone had a bigger grudge against Jack then you do

Angel A.I: Isn't that the truth...

He sat up, running a hand through his hair. Angel, looking through his Echo Eye smiled slightly as Jack was off doing something. She looked around her "cell" before letting out a faint sigh, knowing what'll come to her if- no, when they eventually get here.
