Your P.O.V

School is about to end and I have to meet Ciel because he said he has something to talk about with me. I was wondering what he wanted to say to me all day and couldn't even focus on school.

He maybe needs help with his homework again.

The bell finally rang and the halls were crowded with students going to their lockers and lingering around the school for clubs or rushing to go home. I took out my phone and texted Ciel asking him where we were going to meet.

"At the front of the school..." I read his text aloud. "Okay."

I walked down the hallways and all the way to the front of the school. Once I arrived, his dark blue hair caught my eye.

"Hey Ciel!" I called out to him. "Did you ask me to come here so I could help you with homework?"

I stood in front of him and looked up into his blue eye. I was slightly shorter then Ciel so I stood on my tippy-toes only to fail and fall back onto my feet.

He gave me a small smile and shook his head causing me to look at him in confusion.

"Then why did you call me here?" I looked at him with confusion. "Please don't take that as if I was saying that rudely!"

He chuckled at my reaction and patted my head. I pouted and fixed my hair. "So, what do you need?" I asked with a smile and hands on my hips. "Homework? Did you not finish something in class? What? (Y/n) is here to help you with anything big bro!"

I gently punched his shoulder and laughed at my actions and so did he. He looked slightly hurt for some reason but I didn't bother asking and shrugged it off.

"Well, I just wanted to know if you wanted to hang out or go into town. Sebastian is going to get some things so I thought maybe we could explore it for a little until he's done."

"Sure." I gave him a wider smile and put my arm over his shoulder. "When do we leave?" I asked as I dragged him on to start walking.

"Well, now of course. Unless you can't?" He gave me a questioning look for an answer. I nodded, still smiling.

"Sure, I have nothing better to do. It's Friday anyways." We smiled at each other and I saw Sebastian with the other servants.

"Finny!" I called out.

His head snapped towards me. "(Y/n)!"

We gave each other a hug.

"It's been forever!" I said.

"If yesterday is too long, you... never mind." Ciel sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose.

I laughed and we all got into the carriage. We all talked and laughed through the ride and as time went by quickly, we had already arrived into town.

Ciel exited out first and helped me out like the gentlemen he is. Then the rest of the crew came out and the driver drove away.

Sebastian spoke up first. "Young Master and Ms. (L/n), you may walk if you'd like but be back by sunset please."

I nodded and smiled as for Ciel, he just nodded. I nudged him in the side and he glared at me and I did the same.

"You should be nicer, you know." I snapped.

"You should really s-" I covered his mouth and laughed.

"You get so angry very easy. You're too cute Ciel," I said and dragged him along. "Come on! Let's go."

"Wait! (Y/n)!" I stopped and turned around quickly, looking into his eye and smiling brightly.

Our bodies close together and I looking at him excitedly.

"Could you slow down! You could have gotten hit or something! Jeez.." he flicked my forehead.

I feigned pain and rubbed my forehead. "Okay, okay. What do you want to do first? Look around the shops? Go to a cafe? Huh?"
The pout on my face had brightened and I was soon smiling once again.

"Why are you so excited?" He asked.

"I've never actually been around this part of town before. Mom never takes me anywhere..." I scratched the back of my head, slightly embarrassed.

He looked at me in disbelief. "Really?"

I nodded and looked away. "She hasn't been feeling well so I'm stuck taking care of her when my (brother/sister) is out. Today, my (brother/sister) is taking care of her so yeah. The doctor said she'll be fine. There's nothing to worry about." I gave him a small smile.

He nodded and patted my head. "Want to go to my favorite cafe?"

I nodded and linked arms with him. "Lead the way, Ciel." I pointed forward and he chuckled as we started walking. We talked about school and our personal lives since we were close friends.

We've been sitting at Ciel's favorite cafe chatting. We still have about an hour until we have to go back to the carriage so we decided that after we finish in the cafe, were going to go and walk around the park.

"So, how did you like it when you were in America for a week?" Ciel asked.

"It was nice. Cool weather, beautiful scenery and everything too. Did you miss me?" I asked playfully.

He nodded and we laughed. "I missed you too."

"(Y/n)?" Ciel called my name. I looked up at him with a smile.

"Yes?"

"Um.." his eyes shifted away then he turned back to look at me. "Well, I've been meaning to ask you for a while," he started.

I sat there eager to hear what he wanted to say. He seemed hesitant and opened his mouth to speak but closed it immediately.

"What is it Ciel?"

He heaved out a sigh and rested his head on his hands.

"Never mind. Do you still want to go to the park for a walk?" He asked.

I eyed him suspiciously, nodding my head at the same time. "Okay..."

He paid and we both headed to the park. Awkward silence filling the air between us as we walked.

I was walking slightly behind him and stole a couple glances at him every once in a while.

"I wonder if he likes me..."

"Huh?" I heard Ciel say and turn to look at me.

"What?" I asked with a questioning face.

"You said something, didn't you?"

"Crap... he heard me.."

"Oh, nothing." I gave him an awkward laugh and scratched the back of my head. "Let's keep walking."

He nodded and continued to walk with me trailing not too far behind.

I think being his friend is all I need for now. I smiled to myself at the thought of us being together as friends forever.

Slowly, I could feel myself getting closer to him and intertwined our hands together. He flinched but realized that it was just me.

I could feel the warmth of his hand as I leaned my head onto his shoulder, smiling.

Maybe being more than friends wouldn't be so bad either.
