She let me rant on for maybe about an hour and I'd like to thank her with this one shot because she loves Yuri

Anyway here we go

You lived in Japan, and happened to be Yuuri Katsuki's close friend. You met Yuri Plisetsky one day while you were watching Yuuri skate with Viktor coaching him.

Of course since you were so close to Yuuri you knew who both Viktor and Yuri were. Even though Yuuri was your best friend, Yuri's skating was always your favorite. You had never known why, but something seemed different about it.

When you actually met him, you fell in love with his skating even more, so much so you hadn't even noticed Yuuri or Viktor trying to talk to you at some point. Yuri of course noticed you staring, just decided not to say anything about it.

That changed though. About a day before the competition between Yuuri and Yuri, he decided to finally ask you about it.

"Oi, (Y/N)," he said.

"Huh? Hi Yuri!"

"Why do you stare at me while I'm skating?"

"Because you're beautiful!"

Yuri being Yuri quickly covered his face so you couldn't see his ongoing blush that had spread all over his face. After quickly telling him you had to go somewhere, you left the room and went home. By the time you got home, you were also a blushing mess.

On the day of the competition, you were running late, so you had to sprint to the ice rink. Since you were late, you were not able to wish Yuri good luck, but you did get to watch him preform.

As soon as he got off the ice, he went over to you.

"Yuri! You did so good," you say with a bright smile on your face.

When Yuri realized that he had lost, he immediately grabbed his stuff to leave. Noticing that the male wasn't there, you searched for him.

When you found him is when he walk walking out of the door, so you quickly ran up to him and grabbed his sleeve.

"Yuri... don't leave me," you said with tears in your eyes. When Yuri turned around to look at you, his eyes widened in shock, not expecting you to start to cry.

"I lost, (Y/N). I have to go back to Russia to train so I can beat Yuuri," he said pulling you into a hug. His face started turning red, but once again he hid it.

"B-but Yuri... I don't want you to leave..." This time your face turned bright red too. Yuri quickly kissed the top of your head and then looked away, not wanting you to see his face.

"Maybe I'll stay for a little longer then," he grumbled, making you smile brightly at the male. Then you hugged him tightly, now knowing that he does in fact care about you.
