-as you were about to go plop on the couch

-you had gotten a text from your friend

-saying they were supposed to be going on a blind date

-but they couldn't go anymore

-so you were told to go to take their place

-which you weren't happy about

-especially since it meant moving

-and being social

-and dressing up

-and existing in the real world

-so you groaned

-got up

-got ready

-mumbled a few things no one wants to hear

-and left your room to go on the date

-you got there and were already annoyed

-since you didn't wanna be there

-but good god

-this guy looked like a show off

-the two of you go into the restaurant that your friend and him had picked together

-you were fine with the choice

-that was when the waitress walked up

-she asked for your drink order

-after getting your date's drink order

-she scurried off to the back

-you tried having a conversation with your date

-but all he was doing was one upping you

-and shortly after came back

-and gave you another napkin

-because you supposedly dropped yours

-so you then placed it on your lap

-noticing it had a number and name written on it

-so you sent the number a text

-"Hi sorry, this is your waitress! I just wanted to try and help. So you can text me and use it as an excuse to not talk to your date."

-she then sent a smiling emoji

-making you smile at your phone

-"don't you have work though?"

-"it's fine"

-"are you sure? I don't wanna get you fired just to help me"

-"won't get fired, my boss knows I like helping people out of awkward situations. And it's just an added bonus when they're cute!"

-you then blushed

-which your date though was you blushing at how amazing he was

-which was wrong

-he's rude

-and a showoff

-you continued texting Momo

-which the two of you had already introduced yourselves

-so you saved her contact as her name with a heart

-because she was so nice

-and she really seemed to care since she was doing all of this for you

-but in the end

-it was pissing off your date

-and when the food came out

-it was what he ordered for himself

-but you continued texting her

-so your date got annoyed

-and asked who you were texting

-you then laughed when he got mad

-he slapped some money on the table and left

-and after momo came back with the change from paying

-you stood up and gave her a hug
