And for those of you who don't know, my name is Elliot
One day after school when exams were coming up, you had gone to the library to check out some books to study. While you were looking for books, an averaged height male bumped into you, causing you to drop your books. He had brown hair, mint green bangs, and two strips of blonde in his hair.
"I-I'm so sorry! I w-wasn't watching where I was going," he said, bending down helping you pick up your book.
"It's fine, what's your name," you asked.
"M-my name? U-uh m-my name is Elliot," he says, his face turning pink.
"I'm (Y/N)! Nice to meet you!"
"N-nice to meet you too... Are you looking for certain books? I spend a lot of time here in the library so I might be able to help..."
"Actually I'm looking for books on math," you say. (I'm sorry I'm obsessed with math. Just go with it please)
"Math? I-if you take a left at the end of these shelves, then go straight you'll see some..."
"Thanks, Elliot!"
"I-if you ever fall behind in math, I can help y-you... I-I really like math..."
"Thanks! I'll let you know," you say walking away, smiling at the male. Elliot gives a little wave to you while you walk away.
-Time skip to a few days before exam-
After your encounter with Elliot in the library, you started seeing him in more and more places. Be it outside on the track, or in your class reading a book. The two of you had gotten pretty close, so you talked on a daily basis.
"Hey Elliot," you ask, poking his cheek.
"Let me finish this page," he says, not bothering to look up from his book.
"Elliotttt."
"Hold on."
"Elliottttt."
"Fine, what is it," he said, his blue eyes looking up at you.
"Can you help me with math later? I don't need help exactly, I just want someone to study with."
"Don't you have other friends? I have cross country..."
"I want to study with you!"
"Fine.. Meet me at the track at 4pm? I'll walk you to my house from there."
"Yes! Thanks Elliot!"
Elliot sighs then goes back to reading his book.
-Time skips to 4pm at track-
"Hi (Y/N). Ready," Elliot asks you, wiping his sweat on his towel.
"Yep! Thanks again Elliot!"
"Would you mind if I showered once we got to my house? I don't think you want me, a sweaty guy, studying with you."
"That's fine," you say, smiling at him, "you're not wrong about that either." Elliot lets out a small laugh at that.
Once the two of you got to Elliot's house, he brings you up to his room so you can get situated. He quickly closes his door part of the way, not wanting his brothers or his dog to annoy you. "Sorry that it's so small, my brothers and parents have the bigger rooms. If you get hot, there's a remote on the night stand to turn the fan on. Anyway I'll be back," Elliot says, grabbing a change of clothes and his towel.
While he was showering you were looking at the pictures he had on his picture board. One was of you and him making weird faces, the others were of post cards from Japan. He also had one from New Orleans. (NoLa is great.)
Once Elliot was done with his shower, he walking back to his room with only pants on. His towel was draped on his head, because his hair was still dripping wet.
The first thing you noticed were the scars on his left arm. You hadn't noticed them before, because he's always wearing long sleeve shirts or bracelets to cover them up.
"W-what are your scars from," you asked, carefully.
"A-a-ah... Self harm... They're pretty old... Sometimes life just gets to hard, ya know? If it matters, I've been clean for about a month," he says, looking at his scars. He starts laughing at something, so you stare at him.
"Sorry, just laughing at how weak of a person I am," he says, still looking at his scars.
"I noticed you have scars right above your knee too, what are those from?"
"Oh. I was at cross country and a dog scratched me. I didn't notice until we finished running. It was bleeding everywhere. Fun stuff," he responded, sitting in front of you. "Anyway, shall we start studying?"
"Sure!"
After a while of studying, you realize Elliot had fallen asleep, and was leaning against the wall. You giggled a little, then looked at his peaceful face.
Hearing you giggle, Elliot opened his eyes slightly. "Huh," he said with what sounded like a morning voice.
"You fell asleep," you said, poking him.
"Oh... Do you want me to walk you home?"
"Sure!"
While Elliot was walking you home, since it was winter time, you had a (jacket/sweatshirt/sweater) on, while Elliot had a light sweatshirt on. He looked over at you, studying your features under the moonlight. (Sorry about not saying anything about it being winter, I'm used to saying cross country and knowing it's a winter sport. Track is spring.)
Since Elliot's hand was cold, without thinking he slipped your hand into his, in hopes of warming his hand. Once he realized what he had done, he covered his face with his other hand. You looked over at him in surprise, not expecting him to do that. He looked back at you and started blushing even more than he already was.
Once you got to your house, you opened the door, said goodnight, then gave Elliot a kiss on the cheek before walking inside, leaving behind a flustered brunette.
-next day-
At school the next day, every time Elliot saw you, he would hide his face behind his book. By the end of the day you were done with his crap, so you decided to ask him about it. While you two were walking home from school, since Elliot didn't have cross country that day, you asked him, "why were you avoiding me today?"
"I-I wasn't.."
"It seemed like you were, Elliot."
"I-I wasn't... I was just trying to figure out how I'd ask you out..."
After about 10 seconds, he realized what he said and crouched into a ball. "Oh my god! What did I just do," he said, freaking out.
"Yes," you said.
"What?"
"Yes, I'll go out with you," you say, stretching out your hand to help him up. He gladly took it with shining eyes.
"Yes," he practically yelled, squishing you in his embrace.
You giggled at the brunette's actions, and grabbed his hand, causing him to blush again.
"Sooo... Wanna study again? I'm not looking forward to exams," he said.
"Sure," you said.
Once the two of you got to his house, you went straight up to his room again.
That day was the first day Elliot had even been so happy that he wasn't reading a book.
