You lived with Near in the orphanage and you just found out about L’s death and the Kira case he had been working on. Determined to stay with Near due to your love for him you decided to work together with him as Mello went on a different path than the two of you. You smile as you sat on a chair by him and he stared at Lego’s.

“Near do you know something?!” You exclaim and he looked up at you.

“I think I’m figuring it out,” He murmured and you smile.

“So Misa is suspected as the second Kira?” You murmur as you follow his paths and instructions and everything written on the papers he had by him.

“Yeah and Light is the first,” He murmured and twirled a strand of his hair on his finger.

“So how do we catch them? We don’t have any evidence on this case,” You sigh.

“Or any evidence to prove that they are suspects so-“He cut you off easily with a kiss to the lips and your eyes widened when he pulled back.

“I know we don’t have evidence,” He murmured and you touch your lips.

“What was that?” You whisper out.

“I like you,” He murmured and continued to twirl is hair and you smile.
