When did Nico Di Angelo start questioning his sexuality? No, not when he met Percy, not when he met Jason or Will. No. It was when he met the Son of Hephaestus. The undeniably hot son of Hephaestus, (M/n) (L/n).

Upon the teen's arrival at the camp, he was immediately thought of to be Aphrodite's. He had every single aspect. His perfectly tousled hair, his warm eyes, his perfect face. But during the bonfire, he'd been claimed by Hephaestus, surprising everybody. 

After he stayed at camp for one year (Your second year at camp,Percy's 3rd year of destruction), he meet Nico, who had himself just entered the camp. The twelve year old made Nico's heart race, and he didn't understand why until asking Bianca, who explains he may be gay.

When Nico came back to fight with the others, he saw (M/n) again, and boy has puberty done it's job. He's taller, his face more chiseled, hair the same tousled mess, eyes still mesmerizing, and then he was well built too.

When Nico fought with the other's during the battle with Kronos, he couldn't stop worrying about the son of Hephaestus. After learning he was safe, his heart flooded with relief.

When Nico had left camp, (M/n) had gone up to him, asking him to make sure he would stay safe. His heart pounded to know the male carried for him.

When Nico saw (M/n) again after he had come with the Argo, he had to resist the urge to tackle him into a hug like Annabeth had done to Percy. So he settled with punching him.

When Nico was trapped in the jar, and he saw (M/n) had risked his life with Percy and the others to save him, he could feel himself ready to cry from joy.

When Nico was faced with Cupid, he yelled out Percy, sure beyond measure it was the right person. But Cupid had only chuckled and said," That's who you think it is~"

When Nico had to shadow travel with the statue, Reyna, and Coach Hedge, (M/n) had volunteered as well. Jason had shot that down, saying they needed him. But Nico couldn't contain the feeling in his chest.

When Nico had gone in to fight in Camp Half Blood, he worried so much for (M/n), watching whatever he did from the corner of his eye. Except this time, (M/n) didn't make it through.

When Nico had to watch (M/n) die, suffering at the hands of a merciless Empousa, helpess from trying to save the ravenette, he realized what Cupid had meant. He had not loved Percy. He had loved (M/n). He had loved (M/n) with all his heart. And it was too late.

When (M/n) had first meet Nico, he heart flooded with unknown feelings he never understood until getting advice from Annabeth.

When (M/n) had seen Nico again during the battle of the Labyrinth in Camp, he was ready to scream in happiness. The son of Hades of alive.

When (M/n) found out Nico was alive after the battle, he was ready to crush the boy in affection.

When (M/n) heard Nico was leaving camp, he was heartbroken, and considered announcing his feelings, but decided against it.

When (M/n) saw Nico again, he was ready to rush and punch the bastard for leaving him. Nico ended up doing it instead.

When (M/n) heard Nico had been stuck in the jar, he was furious, determined to save the ravenette.

When (M/n) was visited by Aphrodite, he confessed to her. He did have feelings for Nico.

When (M/n) was told by Jason he couldn't join to help Nico, he had not spoken to the crew for days.

When (M/n) saved Nico, he knew it was worth it. If he couldn't confess to Nico, this was enough. Making sure he was safe.
