It was not fun, not fun at all.
Turning up for a job interview just to find out it was a scam and money was wasted.
(Y/n) groaned as she walked down the street, she was hungry and irritated by the stupidity she had to fall for that work scam.
At least she could go home and try to find a legit job.
An explosion caught her attention, it came from where her car was parked.
She ran up to see what the commotion was.

Ido lowered his hand from blocking rubble of the explosion. A lot of cars were destroyed thanks to his brother's carelessness.
"Mei?," he looked around and saw his brother was injured. His outfit was torn and bloody.
"Mei!," Ido shouted and was able to knock away an attacker.
"I'm okay Ido, this asshole is pissing me off though.," his twin hissed out, "I'm gonna kill him with my bare fists!"
Ido watched as his brother ran off and pummeled their target into a bloody, he sighed and gathered up the groceries he was holding but dropped.
"Where are those fruits?," he muttered as he looked around.
The bag of fruits was presented to him by a young woman, "is this what you are looking for?"
Ido stood up and nodded down to her before taking the bag from her, "Yes, thank you."
She looked around and groaned, "Dammit, my car!"
Ido looked over and saw what she was talking about, one of the cars destroyed was hers. 
"How am I going to get home now?!," the female sighed, "the busses don't go my route and it's to far for a taxi."

The young woman before him was pretty. Her (skin color) skin and (h/c) hair matched well with her (e/c) eyes. Ido was getting an urge to help her and tapped her shoulder.
"What is it?," the female asked as she pulled her phone from her purse.
"Want a ride?," Ido heard himself ask.
"Mom told me not to take rides from strangers.," the female answered him.
"My name is Ido Yomidou, what is yours?," the wine haired male asked as his brother walked up.
The female looked up to him, "(y/n) (l/n)."
"Ido, what the hell?," Mei asked and pointed to the woman as he lit up a cigarette.
"Put that out. I want to help her.," the calmer brother replied to his unruly twin.
The other brother grumbled as he obeyed his brother, the female put her phone away after checking her insurance on the car.
She saw Mei and her eyes widened, "Are you okay sir? Do you need medical attention?"
"I'm fine, bit-," Mei stopped when he saw his brother glaring at him, "I'm okay."

The calmer twin motioned to his brother, "This is my twin, Mei. Since we all know each other's names, we are not strangers."
"Fine. Are you heading north? That's where I am going.," (y/n) spoke and Ido signaled her to follow. She followed the two maid dress wearing men hesitantly and saw their vehicle.
"We are also heading north.," Ido said as he opened the door for her and helped her in.
Mei got into the driver's seat and waited for his brother and the woman to get in.
"I can give you some money for the fuel used today.," she offered.
"Good.," Mei said sharply and started driving.
(Y/n) was quiet along the ride, she was trying not to laugh and piss off Mei.
Ido however wanted to make conversation, "So what were you doing there?"
"My dumb ass got tricked by a job offer scam.," the female said and huffed.
Mei snickered at her misfortune but Ido was more gentle, "You can get a good job, I know it."
She saw her road and pointed to it, "You can let me off here. My home is not far."
Mei slowed the car down and she pulled some money from her purse, the female gave the money to Ido and got out of the car.
Mei drove off after she started walking down the road, he turned off onto another road.
"You were oddly friendly to her.," He spoke to his twin and Ido nodded.
"She was nice.," Ido replied, "And she lives nearby."
Mei drove to the building they worked at and parked, "Perhaps you may see her again."
"I'd like that.," Ido replied with a small smile, "strangely enough, I'd like that."

Weeks passed.
(Y/n) was working in her large family house as her parents were working in town, she sighed as she finished washing and putting away the clothes.
She thought back to the two males she met, Mei and Ido. They both were pretty good looking. Ido especially.
It was strange how at ease she felt around him. He was polite and slightly aloof but at the same time he was caring.
The young woman went outside to do some yardwork.
She fixed the fence and weeded the yard before hearing a screech of laughter.
Something flew by her and yelling was heard.
She looked around for whatever flew by, she saw it coming back around and picked up a board.
The thing seemed to be covered by a cloak and had golden horns on it.
(Y/n) wound up the board and hit the thing on the head, it fell over.
She picked up the hood and saw it was a young man with a bump on his head from where she hit him.
"Owww!," the guy cried.

"You're trespassing.," she said bluntly and grabbed him by a pointy ear, "Where the hell did you come from so I can take you back?"
The young man squirmed from her pulling his ear but pointed to the direction he came from.
(Y/n) dragged him by the ear in that direction until she came upon a large building, she kept holding his ear tight as she walked up and knocked on the door.
A woman with pink hair opened the door and sighed, "Manji, what did you do?"
"Trespass.," the female responded, "I came to return this."
"Thank you dear.," the pink haired woman said, "I'm sorry for whatever else he may have done."
(Y/n) let the young man go and he ran into the house yelling for someone named Kojiro.
The pink haired woman gave her a smile, "Thank you for returning Manji. He's mischievous but a good kid."
"I can definitely see the mischief part.," (y/n) replied and stuck her hand out, "(y/n) (l/n). I guess this means we're neighbors."
"Nice to meet you, I am Kujaku.," the pink haired woman replied with a smile as she shook the younger woman's hand.
Movement behind Kujaku made (y/n) tilt her head to see, it was Ido!
The young woman quickly said goodbye to the pink haired female and left, she found Ido and her were neighbors.

Kujaku giggled a little, "I wonder what that was about?"
"Was that (y/n)?," the voice of Ido made the aqua eyed woman turn around.
"Yes, you know her?," Kujaku asked.
"We gave her a ride home after her car was destroyed in the fight.," Ido replied.
Kujaku had a smile on her face, "she's our neighbor, Manji ran over to her place and she returned him."
Ido nodded after hearing that and returned to his task.
The pink haired Kujaku covered her smile, "Does Ido-kun like her?"
Kujaku decided to tell some of the others what she found out.

(Y/n) returned to her home and sighed, she looked at the garden. The vegetables were all ready to be picked. She grabbed a basket and began to fill it with vegetables, she thought of what to cook with the vegetables she picked.
"I could make a stew, a pie, a casserole... so many things that can be done.," the female said to herself, "Oh! A hearty stew with a rich broth sounds great. I can use the meat we have in the freezer. And the rice we have in dry storage."
The young woman returned to her home and started cooking dinner for her and her parents.
A few hours later she heard them come home. Right on time.
She had the table set and the food was hot and ready to eat.
Her parents were delighted at their daughter's cooking and happily ate up the food.
The female smiled, "So.. I met the neighbors."
"Neighbors?," her father asked.
"Yep, the big house over there. One of the kids came through our yard and I had to return him.," she replied, "The woman was nice."
"That's good. I usually hear a nice song coming from that direction during the evenings.," her mother added, "I want to tell whoever was singing that they have a great voice."
"The maids drove me home after the car was destroyed.," (y/n) said and continued eating.

Her father looked to her, "Maids?"
"Actually, full grown twin men in maid outfits.," the female said, "I think they were cute."
"(Y/n), are you okay?," her mother asked.
"Yep. I'm fine!," the young woman said, "they were quite interesting."
Her parents looked at each other then to their daughter, "we're just concerned, you have not looked for your soulmate yet. Or a job."
"Ido have been looking for a job, the last one I went to was a scam. I have been more careful since.," the female said, "And I don't feel like my soulmate is pulling me to go anywhere else. It is like he is nearby."
"Okay. Just be careful dear.," the mom said and continued eating.
"Okay mom. I kind of want to talk to the neighbors more.," (y/n) said with a smile, "It would be nice."
"It think you should, you don't have many friends out here.," Her father said.
The family finished dinner and went to bed.

The next day, (y/n) was out fishing in a low cut shirt and shorts. Her soulmate marker was clearly visible on her left breast. A shimmering wine colored rose mark.
She sat out on the dock as she held her fishing pole, hoping to catch a large fish for dinner.
She pulled the line in after feeling a tug on it but found her bait was missing.
A sigh escaped her lips as she cast the line out again after putting another piece of ham on it.
She felt another tug on the line and pulled it quickly, a hand was holding the line when she pulled it up, pitch black eyes and blue hair peeked out of the water.
"WHAT THE HELL?!," the female shouted and threw a slice of ham at the thing.
It landed right on top of the head and the man picked up the ham, "Hi!"
"I am trying to fish here! You're stealing the bait!," she shouted, "Shoo!"
"You're our neighbor right?," the male asked, "That's cool. I wanted to see you after hearing Manji and Kujaku talk about you."
So he knew the kid that trespassed on her property.
"You wanted to meet me?," the female asked and the man pulled himself up onto the dock. He had a tail like that of a shark's instead of legs.
"Yep.," the male said with a smile, "Name is Kojiro. You're (y/n), right?"
"That's my name.," the female responded, "what is with the tail?"

Kojiro looked at his tail and raised it up, "I got this after an accident... well it was really an attempted murder."
"Someone tried to kill you?," (y/n) asked and the male nodded.
"I used to be a star runner in school. But my teammates were jealous so they pushed me off a bridge onto the train tracks below, I woke up with no legs."
She looked at the smiling man, he looked so happy although he was in pain.
"This tail actually allowed me to swim, so it's not all bad.," the man replied.
He was a handsome male, not as handsome as Ido in (y/n)'s eyes though.
"Want to touch it?," he asked with a grin.
"No thank you.," the female replied and slapped his hand away from her bait, "Stop eating my bait."
"Sorry, this ham is good.," Kojiro said as he watched her bait the line and cast it out again, "You are trying to catch fish to eat?"
"Yep. The fish around here are really good.," (y/n) replied, "The ones in the store just don't compare."
"Is that so?," the male asked and rested his head in his palm.
"What do you know about Ido?," the female asked him after a little bit of silence.

"Ido? Well he is not as scary as his brother but he is still pretty damn scary.," Kojiro answered, "He is a really good cook though and is reliable."
"He sounds like a good guy.," (y/n) said as she watched her line.
"Ido is still very dangerous.," the shark like male said, "But from what Kujaku told me, he seems to like you."
The (h/c) haired female looked at the blue haired male, "What?"
"I was surprised too. I knew he liked food and eating, I never thought he'd have an interest in women since he is always taking care of us and his brother.," Kojiro said.
(Y/n) looked back to her line and reeled it in, there was a large fish on the end of it.
"It was nice talking to you Kojiro. Perhaps you could come over for dinner one day with a few of the others in your house?," the female said to the male who looked surprised and a bit happy.
"Sure, I'll pass the offer along to the others. I'm sure Kujaku would love to have another woman to talk to.," the shark like male said and dove back into the ocean.
The (e/c) eyed female watched him swim away with a band of sharks, "What an interesting fellow."
She gathered up the fish she caught and took them home.

Ido fretted as he worked on dinner, he had not seen (y/n) in a long time. Was she okay? Did she get a new job? Perhaps he could ask someone to go and check on her in their free time.
He heard Kojiro talking, the shark looking man was drinking again.
"So the neighbor is cute. She was not scared of me.," the voice of the shark like male spoke and Ido listened as he cooked, "(y/n) even offered to make something for us one day."
"I'm guessing she was only being polite since we are neighbors.," the voice of the other house drunk replied.
The wine haired man wondered what the female would make if they took up her offer, would it be delicious? A secret family recipe? A lost art?
He felt his brother tap his shoulder, "Ido, what is wrong? You're rather distracted."
"(Y/n), I can't stop thinking of her.," Ido replied, "I'm worried."
"You can ask master if he wants to hire another maid. She could lighten our workload.," Mei spoke, "more hands make work easier."
Ido began to think then turned to his brother, "I think I will. I can see her again."
"You really do like her huh.," Mei asked with a grin.
"I guess.," his twin replied.

The next morning had (y/n) go to the door to answer it.
Her mother and father had not left for work yet but she was free to answer and see who it was. To her surprise, it was Mei.
"Mei, how can I help you?," She asked the man on her porch.
"The master wants to see you.," the Wine haired male replied, "Ido asked if you could be hired to be another maid."
(Y/n) heard her parents coming down to see what was happening.
"Okay, I'll come.," the female said and heard her mother gasp at the sight of the man.
She looked behind her and saw her parents, she waved and followed Mei while not looking back.
The house was as she remembered it when she first saw it. Larger than a regular house, almost as big as a mansion.
She noticed Mei looking back at her every so often, especially at her chest. The top of her soulmate marker was peering out of her shirt.

"Eyes are up here buddy.," the female said and the wine haired male scoffed.
She chuckled a little. His expressions were fun.
He walked into the building and she followed.
She did not expect the boss to look like a Christmas elf. Blond, green eyes and pointy ears.
"This is the neighbor that you wanted to work with you?," The male asked Mei.
"Yes sir.," the maid man answered with a polite and somewhat fearful tone.
The Elf like man walked around the female and looked her over, "Yes. She will do. Just a worker, not a combatant."
'Combatant?,' (y/n) thought to herself as she maintained a pleasant smile for the potential employer.
The blond male pointed to the mark peeking from her shirt, "What is that?"
"Soulmate marker sir.," she answered and pulled down her shirt enough for it to be seen.

Mei's eyes widened, "Damn. That explains that."
The blond and the female both looked at him with questioning glances.
The wine haired male pointed to her mark, "Ido has the same one. You two are meant for each other."
The blond man chuckled, "Even more reason to let you stay here. Welcome to our little organization miss (y/n). I am elf, your new boss."
"Yes sir, I will do everything I have to for you.," the female responded and was given a smile from her new boss.
"Good, Mei and Ido will tell you what you will have to do. I will give you orders when it is necessary.," the Elf like man said and walked off.
Mei motioned for her to follow, "I need help over here."
"Okay Mei!," the female said and followed the wine haired male, "So.. do I call you brother too or... just Mei?"
"For now, just call me Mei.," was the response she got, "Also, be careful around some of these inhabitants. Some are harmless others can be dangerous."
(Y/n) listened to Mei explain some rules to keep her safe as she helped him to clean, Ido was doing the laundry and walked past them as he delivered the clean clothes to each inhabitant.

(Y/n) was happy, she found her soulmate, found a job and had a cool brother in law.
She was smiling as she worked with Mei and Ido for the rest of the day.
The time finally came for her to go home, Ido stopped her.
"You're going home? You could live here.," the man spoke to his soulmate.
"I live nearby, I will be back tomorrow. I promise.," she said with a smile to her love.
The female stood on her tiptoes and gave Ido a kiss to seal their relationship, he was stiff at first but relaxed after a bit.
"Be careful going home.," Ido replied and begrudgingly let her go.
He turned to glare at the ones who were watching them.
"Ido has a girlfriend.~," Kojiro teased.
"You two are so cute together.," Kujaku chuckled with a twinkle in her eyes, "Will there be a wedding?"
Manji was just grinning as he watched the female walk away, "this will be fun."

For months, (y/n) worked happily with Ido and the others. She got to know Ido and all of the others pretty well. Kujaku was the kindest and happiest woman she had ever met.
Kojiro was a good person to talk to and Manji was funny, although the little imp did like to grab at her breasts.
She never got too close to six, Isao or fourth.
Yakumo was a pretty interesting fellow with his obsession with sweets and spiders. Ikkaku was one that Ido did not want her talking to.

The female was carrying a load of clean clothes to give to some of the inhabitants and felt a pair of hands grab her. She looked behind her to see the spider like Yakumo behind her, she looked down near her feet and saw why he grabbed her. His pet spider.
She stopped and let him pick up the spider.
"Sorry about that.," she apologized.
"No, it's fine. You did not see her.," Yakumo replied.
(Y/n) let him take his clothes from the basket she carried before continuing on to deliver the rest.
She did her last delivery and returned the basket to the laundry room before going to see what Ido was doing.
She found him and Mei making something for the others to eat.
Ido felt warm lips on his cheek and was greeted by his soulmate grinning at him, "Good, you've completed the laundry. Help us with the snacks."
"What do you need me to do?," she asked and watched him work.

"Fourth wants coffee, Kujaku usually has tea and make sure that Kojiro and Ikkaku do not get drunk.," her soulmate answered, "You can find everything in the pantry."
"Okay!," she responded and got everything ready for the ones who wanted drinks.
The young woman was careful as she gave the drinks to the ones who were waiting for them.
Ido and Mei came out later with the afternoon snacks, (y/n) was waiting in case if someone wanted to have their cup refilled.
She watched everyone enjoy the food prepared by the twins and refill cups when asked to. Her happiness with this job could not be described.
She was filled with pure joy every time she worked around these people.
(Y/n) helped to clean up the table once afternoon snack time was done.
She felt a hand grab at her rear.
"Manji. Stop now.," the female said and the hand did not move.
"HANDS OFF NOW!," She heard Mei yell at the young man and Manji scampered off before he could get hit.
"Thanks Mei.," she smiled to him.
He scoffed, "You're my sister in law. Of course I'm not letting him touch ya."
"You're my favorite brother in law.," (y/n) laughed and walked of with the dishes.

"Brother in law?," He heard elf ask, "I thought those two were still just getting to know each other."
"They signed the registration papers last week, master.," Mei responded.
"Is that so?," Elf said and looked over to the other wine haired male cleaning up, "Why was I not notified?"
"They wanted to tell you themselves.," Mei said.
The blond nodded, "Fine. I'll allow it."
Ido looked over and saw his brother talking to their boss.
Elf was watching him.
(Y/n) walked up to him once she was finished with her work in the kitchen, Ido turned to her. "I think he knows.," the neater twin said.
"Then we should give everyone the announcement.," She said with a small smile.
Ido nodded, "I guess that would be the best action."
The two saw Elf and Mei walk up to them, "Well, do you have something to tell me?"

"Yes sir. We are married.," they both said.
Elf sighed, "Congratulations. This better not impact your work."
"It won't.," they both said and smiled at each other.
"Go tell the others.," Mei said and (y/n) gave him a smile and hug, "Be glad you're my sister in law."
The female was more than happy to tell the others about her marriage to Ido.
All of them were surprised but gave them congratulations and best wishes.
(Y/n) was happy, Ido was happy.
It was a perfect little life for them together.
