Forgotten (Soldier 76 X Reader)
Quick bit for those who don't know, Soldier 76 name is Jack Morrison. Also, I wrote this very late last night, so if it doesn't make sense, forgive meeeeeee!!!!!
"Ahh, Ms. (L/n), come to do our last session of 'memory wiping?" (Y/n) sighed as she nodded her head, closing the door behind her as she entered her doctor's office. She's been doing this for almost a year, just trying to forget him, her once upon a time. Jack Morrison.
-broken memories-
"Jack, I swear, you hurt me this time, there is no more chances. If you leave, you will never see me again, and no amount of effort will make me remember what we had, do you understand?" (Y/n) started at him, she never hated him, not even after he broke her heart. She sighed waiting for his answer, he wrapped his arms around her, holding her close. "I will never do that to you again. I made the worst mistake and I saw just how much I hurt you. I promise you, I will never leave you again." He pulled away and gently kissed (y/n)'s forehead. Some say she was foolish, but the few that knew her, saw it was true love.
"(Y/n), I love you, but I can't do this. Where I'm going in my life just isn't something I'd want you apart. I couldn't bare the thought of you getting hurt. (Y/n), I'm leaving you." Jack said as he reached out for (y/n), but she pulled away, tears streaming down her face. She smiled at him. She knew it was bound to happen again someday, she wiped her tears laughing a little. He looked at her confused. "Jack, I kind of figured this would happen again. This doesn't really come as a surprise to me, you know. But this is it, no more chances Jack, and don't bother remembering me, I won't you." She laughed as she saluted him, "Good bye soldier, may you forget me and be happy in that." She walked away, tears steaming down as he started at her.
(Y/n) sighed as tears wet the pillow beneath her head as the memories played. Slowly, as the machine did it's job, the memories fade away. Every last one. Gone. No more little reels of tape that instantaneously played at the mere mention of Jack Morrison. It was over. She closed her eyes as her doctor turned of the machine and prepared her questions. Questions about the very memories the were trying to suppress. "Ms. (L/n), can you tell me who this is?" Her doctor asks, holding a photo up of Jack. She cocked her head slightly, she sighed as a light static filled her mind as she tried to focus on this almost familiar man. "I'm afraid not Doc, it feels like I should remember him but it's just not there." Her doctor continued with more questioning to ensure it had truly worked, when (y/n) still hadn't let on to know Jack, her face held a somber smile as she dismissed her. (Y/n) sighed as she walked out of the office, her head starring at the ground, thinking why she wanted to forget Jack for but only static filled her mind. She suddenly bumped into someone, as she was about to apologize the person addressed her by name. "(Y-y/n), is that you?" She looked at the man, his face had scars and his white but his blue eyes reminded her of someone she used to know, but nonetheless, she was slightly confused. How did he know her? "Excuse me who are you?"
