Y/n P.O.V.

I should've known... I should've know she could never forget her feelings for him. I mean really... it was right there in front of me the whole time... it should have been obvious from the beginning.

Y/n: I should have never had my hope up... it sounded too good to be true when she accepted my feelings so easily. She was only being nice that who she is...

The reason I'm behaving this way is because I discovered Pyrrha was cheating on me with Jaune. Who would've of thought, the most friendliest, most caring, and kindest girl in Beacon turn out to be a cheater and a liar.

Sure, I known the whole time Pyrrha never got over her feelings for Jaune since she always had a crush on him since the start of the first semester. I mean why wouldn't she!? It was her first crush, she tried desperately to get his attention but Jaune never took the hint. It was painful for me to watch the person I love try to get the attention of someone else who doesn't recognize when someone is flirting with them.

But when she decided to date someone like me, he FINALLY took notice and decided the best way to reciprocate her feelings is by making out with another dude's girlfriend. And Pyrrha... how can she think it was ok for her to cheat on me after how much I treated her with so much love and respect. Not to mention the courage for me to confess to her in front of her face.

Y/n: If she still had feelings for someone else then she could've just rejected me. It would have been much better than me finding of her betrayal!

Turning to my side, my eyes landed on a picture frame of me and Phyrra taking a picture together during her first championship. I just sigh to myself before grabbing it and placing it face down.

Y/n: I've been by Pyrrha side ever since we were kids and I had a crush on her since I can remember. I was too scared at first to tell her about my feelings for her. However, since entering Beacon I worked up the courage to finally tell her that I love her...

Flashback...

It was during lunch, when I saw Pyrrha sitting by herself after she tried to give Jaune more hints that she liked him but failed miserably. Prom was only a day away so Pyrrha thought she could use this chance to ask him out but it was obvious he was more focus on getting Weiss attention.

So, using this chance I decided to walk up to her and work up the courage to ask her out to Prom. At first I was nervous but knowing this is only chance to confess my feelings decided to take the chance.

Y/n: H-Hey, Phyrra!

Pyrrha: Hey, Y/n...

Y/n: So, I'm guessing Jaune is still going after Weiss.

Pyrrha: Yes...

Y/n: So... Phyrra, I wanted to ask you something.

Pyrrha: Hmm, is there something you need?

Y/n: I wanted to ask if you have a date to the Prom? I-I'm mean considering your popularity and all.

Pyrrha: .... No, not really.

Y/n: Oh...

Pyrrha: ......

Y/n: Do you want to go to Prom with me?

Pyrrha: What?

Y/n: I mean... I don't have a date... so, I thought maybe you and me can go together.

Pyrrha: As friends?

Y/n: Not exactly... no...

Pyrrha: Then what?

Y/n: I thought you and me can go together as a couple, I mean.

I can tell Pyrrha was surprise by my confession.

Pyrrha: Are you saying... you have feelings for me...

Y/n: Y-Yes... but I don't mean as a friend... I mean as a partner or lover.

Pyrrha: Y/n...

Y/n: I understand this may seem out of nowhere but the truth is I always had feelings for you since the beginning. I didn't know how to tell you to be honest... so I'm telling you now, not as friend but as person of interest I wanted to say that I love you, Pyrrha Nikos. Will you be my girlfriend?

Pyrrha: ...... I-

End of Flashback...

After remembering the past, I felt my phone ringing as I pulled out my phone only to realize it was from Pyrrha. I hanged up her call immediately as I took notice the many messages I've received from her. Most of them are apologies for what she did and the rest asking for a second chance.

Y/n: How can you be asking for a second chance after what you did, Pyrrha. It doesn't matter if we been childhood friends our whole lives. After betraying my love... my trust... there no way I can forgive you.

Leaving her message on unread, I got out of bed and made my way to get something to eat.

Pyrrha P.O.V.

I tried calling Y/n again but he only hunged up, I went through my messages but they all remained unread. I can only shed tears after understanding how much I hurt him for cheating on him with Jaune. I must have really messed up this time with him.

Pyrrha: What was I thinking?! I can't believe I did that to him! Why couldn't I make up my mind on who I like!?

Suddenly I heard the door open as I quickly wipe away my tears.

Nora: Pyrrha?

Pyrrha: Oh! H-Hello, Nora. Why are you back early?

Nora: Me and Ren just got done shopping for groceries. Why are you crying? Did something between you and Y/n. If he did something to you, I'm going to break his legs!

Pyrrha: No, no, no, don't to that. *thought* I already hurt him enough at it is for what I did.

Nora: Then what happened?

Pyrrha: I can't tell you. You'll hate me if I told you.

I heard Nora close the door behind her before taking a seat at my bed.

Nora: Pyrrha we're teammates. You can tell me anything. I took a deep breath before speaking.

Pyrrha: Me and Y/n... we broke up.

Nora: Why? What happened?

Pyrrha: He... He caught me cheating on him with Jaune. We were making out in the library... and Y/n found me...

Nora: ....

Pyrrha: Now he won't talk to me and just... it a mess. I just happened... I didn't know what I was doin-

I felt a sharp sting on my cheek as turn to see, Nora with an upset expression.

Pyrrha: N-Nora...

Nora: How could you, Pyrrha! Why did you cheat on Y/n? You told me how much he loves you and yet this is how you repay him. By betraying his love!

Pyrrha: I know! I know... I know...

Nora: But why Pyrrha? Why cheat on him with Jaune.

Pyrrha: It just happened... Jaune finally notice me... we got to talking and one thing let to another... I made a mistake!

Nora: Yeah... Yeah, you did.

Pyrrha: Now, Y/n refuse to speak with me. I tried texting and calling but he just refuses to answer.

Nora: What did you expect would happen? Of course, he be too upset and heartbroken to speak with you.

Pyrrha: But I want to apologies and make things right with him.

Nora: How do you expect to do that, Pyrrha. After what he saw between you and Jaune. The last thing he need is a reminder that you still have feelings for Jaune and you where just using him this whole time.

Pyrrha: I wasn't! I do love him! But...

Nora: But your feeling for Jaune is confusing you.

Pyrrha: Yes...

Nora: Can I tell you something Pyrrha.

Pyrrha: Yes.

Nora: Last year, before me and Ren entered Beacon Academy. I confessed to Ren that I like him more than just a friend. And you know what he said to me?

Pyrrha: What?

Nora: He only saw me as a sister. And that made me feel depress at the time but as the days went by. I came to realize the feelings I had for him was a brotherly love than love itself. And that I was perusing someone who won't love me except just a sister.

Pyrrha: What are you saying?

Nora: I'm saying... that you have to make a choice. Go after someone who only notice you now after you were dating someone already and was ok with cheating than confronting you and him in person. Or go after someone who knew you way before you became the famous Mistral champion and never cared about your status or fame.

Pyrrha: ....

Nora: Now, excuse me. I'm going to check on Y/n to see how he's doing. Nora leaves the room leaving me to myself.

Pyrrha: Nora is right... since I can remember. Y/n has always been by my side no matter what before I became very famous. He was the only TRUE friend I had before coming to Beacon. Not only that... he's was the only one who asked me to prom while everyone else was too scared to approach me or didn't think they have the rights to ask me out. And Jaune... he only notice me after I started dating Y/n. Now that I think about it... is Jaune using me to get to Weiss. Oh gods! What have I done!

I cried to myself after finally realizing the incredible mistake I made.

3rd P.O.V.

Y/n was seen under the tree of the courtyard eating by himself as he talk to himself about his relationship with Pyrrha.

Y/n: Was I not good enough for her? Does she have a thing for dumb and ignorant person like Jaune who snuck their way into Beacon to fulfill a stupid dream while the rest of us work hard to get here.

Y/n pulled his scroll as he look back at the many messages he received from Pyrrha begging him to forgive her or whatever.

Y/n: Maybe Pyrrha sees me only as a childhood friend than love interest. Why else would she would cheat on me so easily without a second thought.

Nora: Y/n...

Y/n looked up to see, Nora in front of him.

Y/n: Oh, hey Nora. What's up?

Nora: I just came to check up on you. I heard what happened with Pyrrha.

Y/n: *sigh* Yeah, of course she would tell you. Nora took a seat next to Y/n under the tree.

Nora: How are you feeling?

Y/n: Terrible.

Nora: Oh...

Y/n: I just don't understand Pyrrha anymore. If she still had feelings for Jaune then why go out with me in the first place.

Nora: She was probably confused.

Y/n: Well, she wasn't confused when I saw her making out with Jaune in the library barely showing any resistant.

Nora: I'm sorry you had to see that Y/n.

There was a moment of silence between them.

Y/n: Nora... am I not good enough for her.

Nora: What? Of course you are! Why do say that?

Y/n: Then why did she cheat on me so easily without any hesitation.

Nora: I don't know.

Y/n: All my life since growing up with Pyrrha. I always loved her, I stayed by her side since we where kids. I always cheered her on and did my best to catch up to her. And when we entered Beacon Academy together and prom came by. I knew this was my chance to ask her out and confess my feelings do her.

Nora felt sympathy for Y/n as it breaks her seeing him like this.

Y/n: After my dream came true and I was finally dating the girl I had crush on for so long. Only to be betrayed by her making all my efforts go to waste.

Nora: Y/n...

Y/n: Nora, be honest with me. Do you think I will ever find anyone who will love me back? I mean at this point, I should give up and quit Beacon all together.

Nora: What?! No!

Nora pulled Y/n into hug, embracing him into her arms.

Nora: Don't say that! Don't say you just give up and quit!

Y/n: But what's the point... the only reason I'm here was for her. But now... I don't know what to do.

Nora: Then... why don't I become your reason to stay at Beacon.

Y/n: What do you mean?

Nora: I mean...

Nora grabs Y/n face making him look at her straight in the face.

Nora: I love you, Y/n.

Y/n: Since when?

Nora: Since we first met. Do you remember?

Y/n has a flashback when he met Nora.

Flashback...

Morning...

It was during the beginning of the semester, Nora was looking for her teammates as she got lost.

Nora: Where are they? Oof!

That was when she pump into Y/n in hallway.

Y/n: Sorry about that!

Nora: No, it my fault I wasn't paying attention where I was looking. Wait... don't I know you from somewhere?

Y/n: I'm Y/n L/n, I am friends with Pyrrha. I think we met once during selection.

Nora: Oh, now I remember! But what are you doing wondering around alone.

Y/n: I just came back from town getting ingredients.

Nora: Really, what are you cooking?

Y/n: I'm cooking pancakes for breakfast.

Nora: Pancakes?!

Y/n: Care to join me? I have plenty for two people.

Nora: Really!

Y/n: Yeah, come on.

Nora follow Y/n to his dorm as he cooks pancakes for both of them.

Later...

Y/n: Here you go, Nora.

Y/n set down a plate of pancakes for Nora.

Nora: Whoa! It so big and fluffy! Ren never made these kind of pancakes.

Y/n: Is something I learned from my mom. These pancakes will make your mouth feel like you're eating a giant marshmallow. Try it!

Nora: Don't have to tell me, twice!

Nora took a huge bite but as she start chewing, she can taste the sweetness and softness of the pancakes making her cry.

Nora: These are the best pancakes I ever had!

Y/n: Yeah. Y/n took a bite out of his.

Y/n: You would never find these type of pancakes in stores or restaurants.

Nora ate the other pancakes but as she was about eat another.

Nora: Huh?

Nora sees she already finished.

Nora: Aw...

Y/n saw this so decided give his pancakes to Nora.

Y/n: Here, Nora you can have mine.

Nora: Really?

Y/n: Why not, I can make more.

Nora: Thanks!

She start eating the pancakes but as she was about to eat the last one. Nora look back at Y/n with concern expression.

Nora: Are you sure, you don't want any.

Y/n: Its fine, Nora. To be honest, it's really nice seeing someone loving my pancakes. Especially someone like you, who's strong and amazing as those ancient Valkyries.

Nora blush after hearing this comment as she ate her pancakes in silence while looking away from him in embarrass.

End of Flashback...

Nora: Since then, I fallen for you that very day.

Y/n: Really...

Nora: Yes, and I kept a close eye on you. And even thought you where dating Pyrrha, I still kept my eye on you from a distance.

Y/n: I haven't notice, I thought you had feelings for Ren.

Nora: I did but that was a long time ago. I have feeling for you only.

Y/n: But Pyrrha...

Nora: We can start slow if you want, I don't mind.

Y/n: Ok then... Nora Valkyrie.

Nora: Yes, Y/n...

Y/n: Do you want to go on a date with me?

Nora: Yes~!

Nora pull Y/n into kiss catching by surprise by her action but melted with the kiss. From a distance, Pyrrha saw the whole thing go down as tears stream her face as she clench her chest.

Pyrrha: Y/n... I'm sorry...

Afterwards...

Y/n and Nora started dating and taking things slow which was surprising considering this is Nora we're talking about.

Few weeks later...

They became boyfriend and girlfriend. Y/n and Nora let everyone know, they started dating and explain the situation that happened between him and Pyrrha. Let say, everyone wasn't happy to hear that Pyrrha cheated on Y/n with Jaune. Ren, Weiss, Blake, and Ruby scolded Pyrrha for her action, felt disappointed in her while Yang and Nora beat up Jaune and broke both of his legs.

And during the time Y/n and Nora started dating each other, Pyrrha has been trying to ask for his forgiveness and have another chance with him. However, Y/n would decline her offer every time she asked, leaving her depressed and heartbroken.

As Pyrrha relationship and feelings for Jaune, she decided not date him or have feelings for him anymore. Since she later learned the truth, he was just using her to try get Weiss attention. Making her understand the person she had a crush on, only saw her as object while the person who love and dated her, truly loved her for who she is as a person. Making Pyrrha regret her action and decision before her death during the Fall of Beacon.

Epilogue

After the defeat of Salem, Y/n and Nora decided to retire as huntsman's and get married. Later opening up a small restaurant together making pancakes. Nora soon discovered she was pregnant with twins as they both celebrated together on becoming a family soon. But as they're celebrating their happy news together....

Pyrrha: That should be me... enjoying that happiness with him.

The spirit of Pyrrha ghost lingers around as she watches from afar watching Y/n and Nora happiness together knowing she'll never experience that feelings of love again.

Pyrrha: I'm sorry, Y/n...
