Kel and Sunny sat inside, snowflakes dancing outdoors.

It was dark out, to late to play outside in the waltz of snow, but the group had had a wonderful day of snowball fights and sledding.

Aubrey slept on the couch, bundled up in layers of blankets with Basil in her arms, the two smile in their slumber, having grown close since Aubrey started living with Basil and Polly, her mother never even knowing she left.

Kel and Sunny played Pokémon XD, muted as not to wake their dear friends, sipping hot coco Hero made.

They capture another Pokémon, working on the first dungeon of the game, but Sunny is having trouble focusing. As warm as the fire type they caught, a houndour, is, in reality, he's still kinda cold.

He wishes he was warm.

Kel notices Sunny shivering, and scoots next to him, "You OK?"

Sunny shakes his head, "Chilly."

Kel grabs Hero's coat off a chair Hero left it on when he went to bed and wraps it around the both of them, snuggling up to Sunny.

Sunny wraps his arms around Kel, embracing him for warmth and comfort. Kel hugs him back, before taking a gamble and smooching his  forehead.

Sunny's face goes pink, but he doesn't complain, he leans into Kel's chest and mutters, "You're warm... I like you Kel..."

"I like you too Sunny," Kel chuckles.

And warm in each other's harms, as Kel turns off the game, the duo gently drift off into peaceful slumber...
