A snowstorm rages outside the suburban home as those within go about their business. Aubrey shivers from the cold, white jacket does little to stave off the frigid temperatures from the outside storm.

It was better than how it used to be, that's for damn sure. Mari had convinced her parents to let Aubrey stay with them after Aubrey's mother was aressted for severe neglect just earlier that day.

Life was good.

But for now she was cold. She decided to get up and make some hot coco, it was mid evening, so it seemed like a nice note to end the day on. She doesn't hear the footsteps in the other room as she warmed the mug of milk and mixed it with the coco powder.

She sipped the coco, savoring the warm, smooth texture and sweet taste. She returns to the living room to see Sunny setting up a blanket and pillow on the couch for her.

"Hey Sunny," Aubrey greets.

Sunny states timidly. "It's cold."

"Thanks," Aubrey smiles.

The blue blanket is warm, cozy. She finds herself with a sense of peace. She hasn't felt warm in a long time during the Winter. She always felt she would freeze to death in her old home.

But there was one other thing she had lacked during that time.

A hug.

She knew Sunny has always had a soft spot for her, who didn't? The way his face turned red when she complemented him, how he was always clingy to her when they had group hugs, everyone knew.

"It's rather cold," Aubrey comments as Sunny begins to walk away, "Can I hold you for a bit? To warm up?"

Sunny silently nods, his face as pink as her hair. They take the other in their arms, the warm embrace soothing and calm, no matter how cold the raging storm outside is. They find themselves soothed by the warm embrace of the other as they gently drift off to sleep.

The camera prints the photo. Mari smiles, this is the cutest thing she's ever seen, but she doesn't think this is one they wanna share with the others, so she leaves it on the table on them, an image of the two teens cuddling, warm despite the snowstorm...
