Hero saw the cuts on Mari's arm, the red stain on her sleeve. A part of him wanted to grab her sleeve and pull it up to see how badly she's hurt herself but...

He knew he had to be gentle.

"Mari..." He asks softly, "I need you to be honest."

Mari nods.

"Are you hurting yourself?" Hero asks, reaching out to him, only for her to back away.

Mari laughs, as not to cry. She isn't worth caring about after she pushed sunny down the stairs and put Sunny in a coma for four years. She will make sure no one cares.

"I'm great!" Mari lies, "Of course not!"

In a fit of worry, Hero grabs Mari's arm, revealing fresh cut wounds at four points, dripping blood along her arm.

Mari breaks down crying, insisting, "See? I'm fine. This is exactly what I deserve..."
