Mari's Visit
A request from a chill person. Also yes I'll do requests if I feel like it so feel free to ask.
"You've got five minutes," the winged figure stated as he opened the golden gate.
"I'll be back by then," Mari assured.
Mari exited the gates...
The air in the room was cold, as she entered. She looked down at her hands, pale, no, white, like snow. More like the keys of her piano than anything. She looked at the old instrument. Dust flew off the keys, lit only by the summer moonlight. She coughed as the dust flew into her face and she collected herself. She took a seat at the piano, the name of it standing out to her. "Omori".
Omori.
That's what he called himself in that other world.
She really did mean a lot to him, to all of them.
She began to play, she knew this conversation would be hard for him, for both of them, and she didn't have long. She hoped this would make it easier, calm him down as they spoke.
Sunny entered, she greeted him, "Hey Sunny..."
What to say? What does... say, when returning from the next life, to a person whom beleives themself an irredeemable murderer?
"It's been a while," Mari continued.
She tried to think, it wasn't his fault, and he had to know that to move on, to heal, "It wasn't your fault Sunny. You'll forgive yourself. Won't you?"
Sunny was silent, he rarely spoke, and spoke even less now. She tried to think, it was clear that words wouldn't get through to him. So she suggested something else. "We worked so hard on that duet but we never got to play it together... would you like to play with me now?"
But then Hero entered, and she was gone...
Mari sighed as she returned to the golden gates, "It'll be OK, little brother, I'll always be here, just don't come here anytime soon..."
