Hey, (Y/N), look at this." My best friend, Kankuro said as he licked a spoon and put it on his nose, hoping it'll stick on. I laughed, as his little trick failed miserably. The spoon fell off his nose and he pouted, playfully.

Currently, I was in the kitchen of Kankuro, Temari, and Gaara's house waiting for my boyfriend, Gaara, to finish up his work. "Okay, that didn't work out as planned." He mumbled and huffed.

"Well, that's obvious," I said, and he chuckled.

Kankuro leaned against the kitchen counter and looked at me.

"So, what are you and Gaara going to do today?" He asked.

"Hm, we're going to go for a walk, then out to eat, and go stargazing," I said, and then looked up thinking about the plans and nodded confirming that's what we're doing.

"Sounds lame." He said, bluntly. "Well, it's pretty fun. Thank you very much." I muttered and shook my head.

"Well, I can show you a better time." He hummed, I looked at him, like he's crazy. "What are you talking about?" I asked.

"I can take you out, and give you a better time than my brother can." He leaned over the kitchen island, that I was sitting at. His face getting close to mine. "No, I prefer my lovely, Gaara," I said, kindly rejecting him on his offer and smiled. I then put my hand in his face and shoved it back.

"Come on (Y/N). I knew you way longer, yes you are younger than me and whatnot, but we have chemistry." He said, trying to persuade me. 

"Look--" I cut myself off, after feeling a demonic, presence behind me. I turned my head and saw my loveable, Gaara, standing behind me glaring at Kankuro. Kankuro jumped and chuckled nervously. "Hey, Gaara." He greeted, still chuckling nervously.

"Don't, 'hey Gaara' me," Gaara growled. I smiled and stood up and kissed him on his cheek, the demonic aura went away instantly and he smiled at me but glared at Kankuro. "Hey, Gaara~." I cooed, playfully and took his hand in mine. "Hey (Y/N)." He greeted. "I finished up my work, ready to go?" He asked I nodded excited, and we both turned around to walk away.

"Bye, Kankuro!" I said and waved bye as we left.

I looked at Gaara and smiled. "Soooo, jealously is powerful with this one, huh?" I asked, jokingly. He huffed. "My brother was flirting with you and was trying to take my place." He said.

"Yeah. The jealousy is powerful. I thought you were going to tear his head apart with your glare." I joked. He chuckled and leaned down and kissed my cheek. "I don't want anyone taking you away from me." He mumbled and laid his head on top of mine. "No one will take me from you. I love you too much." I said,

"I love you too."

"I love you moooreeee." I laughed a bit.

He chuckled and shook his head. "Let's not start this." He said.

"Yeah, we're starting this."

My great-uncle passed away, my best friend overdosed, and I have another friend that's been diagnosed with depression and wants to die, and it's been pretty rough.
