It was late at night, and I was returning home from work, but my car was in the shop. I shook my head and clicked my tongue. Last time I'll let my friends use my car. I huffed and kept walking. I took a left into an alleyway. I sighed, as there were no street lights in this particular alleyway, and maybe that's why crime rates are up in this area of town.

God, if I tell my older brother about this he'll lecture me about how dumb this is, and to be quiet honest. It's dumb also, but what can I do?  It's the quickest shortcut home.

"Hey! Girly!" Someone shouted from behind me, interrupting my thoughts. I turned my head and saw a guy, well not a guy. More like, more than a guy, like five guys. I shrugged and kept walking, pretending that I didn't hear them. Well, in my mind I didn't hear them, cause who's named Girly? And, they can't call me girly, I'm far from girly. "Hey! We're talking to you!" The guy shouted again.

"Um, sorry, but you're not talking to me, you're talking to someone named, 'Girly'." I corrected, and turned my head and smiled at the crew. I stopped and turned around to look at the crew. I was reckless, daring, and brave, I didn't mind facing danger head-on, but they don't look like a danger to me anyways.

"You think you're so smart, huh?" The guy asked, and his crew stepped closer towards me. I didn't move an inch, I just looked at each of them. I shrugged and gave them a closed-eyed smile, "I think I'm pretty smart, well at least smarter than you and your little crew of idiotic, walnut-sized brains." I said. The leader of the crew growled. "We'll teach you a lesson for disrespecting my crew!" He shouted.

"Aw! Did I hurt your little feelings~?" I cooed, teasingly. He growled. "Let's get 'er!" He shouted, and started running towards me, ready to throw in a punch. I didn't move an inch, didn't blink, just stared as he ran, but then I saw a figure grab his fist and squeeze it. "What the hell?!" He shouted, shocked.

"I'll hit pretty much anyone, but I wouldn't hit a girl." The voice said.

He groaned, as his fist got squeezed harder. "Hey! Let go of our boss!" One of the crew's followers shouter, then the other four men ran for the figure, but easily, still squeezing the leader's fist, the person was able to knock them all out.

"Woah! Dude, dude just leave us alone! We'll leave her alone!" The leader shouted, pleading. The figure squeezed his hand harder. "Promise?" The mysterious person asked. The leader nodded, furiously. "Good." The person lets go of his hands, and then the leader scrambled around for a bit, before running away and leaving.

"You know whoever you are, I could have handled it," I said, and then the mysterious person turned his head and then revealed the very familiar person. Zabuza Momochi. "You know, I knew you were stupid, but I didn't think you were this stupid." He said. I shrugged and smiled innocently. "I couldn't help it, the danger was calling." I hummed. "And, I didn't have a ride and this is a shortcut," I added on.

He shook his head. "Haku could have given you a ride." He said. I shook my head, "He asked, but I said no." I turned around, my back now turned towards him.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"I'm going home," I told him.

"Really? Are you just this stupid or very brave?" He asked, and walked up to me, now standing beside me.

"I think I'm pretty brave." I smiled, as we started walking.

"Hm, maybe. Maybe you are brave. Maybe that stupidity of yours, helps you be brave." He mumbled as we walked together. "Okay, can you stop calling me stupid? I'm way smarter than you." I said and huffed.

"Just because, you're in charge of the financials at the dojo, doesn't mean you're smarter than me." He pointed out.

I thought a bit. "Yes, yes it does," I said, and chuckled.

He sighed and shook his head. "Anyways, I was looking for you." He said and I glanced at him. "Oh? Why?" I asked.

"You left your sword." He said, and then pulled out the sword sheath from his back, containing my sword.

I gasped and took it from him. "My katana! Oh, baby~! Are you okay?" I asked the sword as I rubbed my cheek against it. Zabuza chuckled at how I acted. I looked at him and smiled. "Thanks, I probably wouldn't be able to sleep tonight if I didn't have it by my side," I said, he nodded understanding what I was saying. I smiled and kissed his cheek. "Really, thanks." His cheeks turned a bright red, as he nodded as a, 'You're welcome.'

Soon after a half hour of a silent walk, we arrived at my doorstep. I smiled and turned towards him. "You didn't have to walk me home," I said, he shook his head and scratched his neck.

"Well, I wanted to." He mumbled. I nodded, "So, see you tomorrow?" I asked, to make sure. "See you tomorrow." He confirmed, I turned around and unlocked the door, and opened it, about to step in, until Zabuza grabs my hand.

"Huh?" I turned and looked at him.

He cupped my cheeks and kissed me. I blushed, furiously, but quickly kissed back. It went on for at least a minute, before pulling away. "Maybe, you should be brave more often." He muttered. I grinned. "I'm always brave," I said, confidently. He chuckled, and he kissed me one more time, us sharing another kiss. "God Zabuza, if you love me that much, then come on inside~." I cooed, flirtatiously, but jokingly. He chuckled, "I think you would regret saying that." He said.

"Ah, no I won't." I laughed, a bit. He smiled a bit and shook his head. "Whatever, I'll see you tomorrow, and don't show up late. If you don't arrive on time, Haku and I will come and bust down your door." He threatened. "Don't do that! The last time you did that, you didn't even pay for that!" I whined. He shook his head and turned around his back facing me. "Well, goodbye (Y/N)." He said. "Goodbye Zabuza." I waved, as he walked away from my house.
