You cheered watching from far away how another buidling was destroyed under a alien robot thrown by the blue robot that had destroyed this city several times. You were a 25 year old man who lived in Jersey for maybe a few months after you moved to this place since you heard this place had plenty of jobs and exciting stuff.

Your dad also lived here, he was a smart man in this job so one dat the government hired him to help them track down the owners of a huge mech that kept destroying the city. They wanted to find this thing to stop the destruction of a city and find out how to make some of their own to end world wars. Only since your dad was always busy he asked you to look after it paying you the money to get his groceries and just keep the house clean since you lived nearby.

Your phone went off in your pocket so you andwered still watching the battle.
(Y/n) : hello ?
Father : (y/n) its me listen........... its gonna be late again to look through all the remains of the city again so im gonna be home late could you do me a favor and get groceries of the list i send to you ? Should't be to hard you live close by a store.
(Y/n) : sure gives me something to do then sit in my room all day since the place i work is now in pieces.
Father : thanks boy i would't know what i do without you.
(Y/n) : its okay dad this city need people to save them from.... (Crash)....that

Father : yeah see you tommorrow i make it up i promise bye !

Your father hanged just as the blue robot flew off actually having only destroyed a few buildings this time so with your luck you still could get groceries from the convenience store in the mall should be intact. You went home grabbing enough money to buy anything and enough for maybe something for yourself like a few hamburgers or ice cream then made your way to the huge mall close by your home the people acting if nothing happend slowy getting used by their city getting destroyed over and over again.

Everybody should have insurance anyway by now.

You walked into the mall looking for the convenience store still having to get used to the new city, you walked around aimlessy just finding where you needed to be as you walked into a red haired girl almost bumping into each other.
(Y/n) : oops my bad
Kiva : no its okay i guess i wasn't looking either

You had small second to look at her telling deep inside she was gorgues with the red hair and eyes wearing a very strange outfit but being nice you didn't say anything about it as the girl looked around looking for something.
Kiva : say do you know by any chance where i can find the nearest tech shop ?
(Y/n) : yeah i think i saw one next to the iphone store on the second floor
Kiva : (blinks confused not knowing what iphone was since Coop or jamie never mentioned one before or atleast not when when she was listening)
(Y/n) : want me to show it to you ?
Kiva : im yeah thanks im kinda new to this town
(Y/n) : so am i... quite interesting town
Kiva : i asume you mean that blue mech that keeps wrecking the city
(Y/n) : well it ain't like home thats for sure

Kiva smiled following you to the tech store which you two found pretty easy with all tech inside Kiva could maybe use... maybe not but she was willenly to try anything.
Kiva : thanks i have been looking for this quite a while my friends dumped me to get some hamburgers
(Y/n) : your welcome guess i can relate since im new too

Kiva smiled thanking you again then went into the store hoping she picked up something from Coop explanation how their time buying this worked as he atleast handed her some money before leaving her alone. You just shrugged and walked to the store buying your groceries in a single bag going back the way you came as you caught a sight of Kiva walking out the tech shop looking around again for her next destinination.

She was just walking around trying to find the boys almost keeping bumping into people as she looked around all even spending quite some time in this timeline she still had no idea about malls or much else of the oast. All she saw was a bunch of colourfull shops with weird stuff laying inside of it.

She almost bumped into you muttering a quick apology which you replied too making Kiva look up at your face.
Kiva : oh its you again (place one bag in another hand) hey could you maybe point me to where my friends possible could be ?
(Y/n) : i could try what are they like ?
Kiva : while one just follow the other around that guy would.... lets say have some.... a lot of overweight
(Y/n) : sounds like somebody who would visit Mcdonalds a few shops ways.
Kiva : mcdonals ?... what a ridiclous mame
(Y/n) : still very loved.... want me to bring you again and maybe help carry a bag im feeling friendly today
Kiva : if you won't mind
(Y/n) : nah like i said i feel friendly today

You really didn't mind you still had nothing better to do and knew to be carefull enough to just help somebody and not walk into a dark alley and get mugged all still a bit of friendless could make somebody smile. You helped Kiva to the fast food restaurant carrying a bag for her as you made a small talk about where she was from which she replied 'from the furture' so you thought it was a joke and laughed.

Kiva even asked your name so you answered and asked for hers, she gave you her name 'Kiva' and you thought it was a beautifull name you never heard it before. When you arrived at the restraraunt Kiva could see her friends sitting at table being watched by other customers as Coop murdered another poor hamburger like the last 7
Kiva : (disgusted groan)
(Y/n) : so that are your friends ? (tills head to the side) overweight was put light how does that chair keep him up ?
Kiva : no idea.... seems like they are gonna be busy for a while Coop is only to 7....8 hamburgers and only Hamburgers so he should be going for another good 30 minutes.

You wanted to open your mouth to reply when your phone went off in your pocket so you excused yourself placing the phone against your ear hearing your father speak.
Father : (y/n) what are you doing with that woman ?
(Y/n) : what ?
Father : look for a guy in yellow shirt and blue pants reading a newspaper

You looked around seeing the guy who matched your father description looking over his newspaper looking at you two then dived his head back before anybody would notice.
Father : your with a possible subject for the destruction of the city together with fatass and chicken bone at the Mcdonals.
(Y/n) : i wast helping
Father : hhhhmmm actually this could work.... become her friend see if you can find out if our suspicion are correct
(Y/n) : thats not re.....
Father : i know, i know but currently she seems to have taken a liking in you.... just do something to become close and figure out the truth we need to stop all his meaningless destruction
(Y/n) : fine

You hanged up still standing next to Kiva who waited for your call to end not in the mood to just yet with up with her feet as Coop was getting the attention of everybody in the fast food restaurant.
(Y/n) : well they seem busy (akward cough gathering your courage together) if you want i know a few more quiet places if you don't want that attention as you wait for them to finish up committing hamburger genocide.
Kiva : i rather not have that atgention yes..... fine it seems they don't miss me anyway... what you have in mind ?
(Y/n) : i don't know ..... you like icecream ?
Kiva : i tried a slush puppy before but not really icecream
(Y/n) : well then come on i know a great place... one of the first places i visited when i arrived her with my dad.

You brought Kiva to a icecream store with a few small round tables inside, the air was nicely cold as you two entered and ordered some (icecream of choice) sitting by a table by the window the bags at your feet. You of course paid for the icecream doing your best to look friendly since .....⬇️

(Y/n) : you know im suprised that you said yes most people don't trust strangers so easy anymore
Kiva : what can i say currently your better then my other two friends...... i care for them they are just.... them
(Y/n) : yeah i get it even through their flaws you love them..... i arrived here with my dad who always busy lately so i have to take care of my own house and his but still i love him even thought im currently his housekeeper.

Your icecream was placed on the table by a friendly looking man who left going in the back of the store leaving you and Kiva alone in the store for a while, you eating the icecream was Kiva looked at it holding some up with a plastic icecream spoon.
(Y/n) : your going to eat it or what ?
Kiva : oh of course

She placed the small plastic spoon with icecream in her mouth shocked how much different tastes she got so cold yet so diciclous nothing like she had back home. She eated a bit to fast.. so fast you were to late to warn her before she suffered a brainfreeze holding her head in pain as you laughed at her face.

After she recovered she started a conversation about your point of view on the city liking it to have somebody to talk that wasn't like Coop or Jamie, they were cool but she wanted to have a nice intelligent conversation again and you gave her one also happy to have a good talk.

It wasn't long before you paid for the second round of icecream and two extremely cold soda's still talking about whatever came to mind with smiles as slowy time ticked away taking like you have been friends for years.
(Y/n) : so tell me what you like to do here ?
Kiva : not much i mostly just hangout with Coop and Jamie since i have nothing better to do
(Y/n) : huh guess that ain't different then me all i just stay inside i have no idea what a good hobby would be for me... your friends are looking for you

You pointed with your thumb outside the window to Coop and Jamie waving at Kiva after they finally found the red haired woman again and to Coop delight in a icecream store so he of course entered the store Jamie a few steps behind him.
Jamie : what is this making friends Kiva ?
Kiva : yeah so what can't i make friends ?
Coop : of course you do its just we're not used to that from you... im gonna get myself something but first

He easy lifted a table up and put it next to yours then he walked over to the counter to order something for himself.
Jamie : sorry he is a big food lover..... mind if i sit ?
(Y/n) : well im alone so sure

Jamie smiled sitting down at a side of the table giving Kiva a smirk how she was making friends which Kive returned with a small glare.
(Y/n) : names (y/n) (l/n) btw
Jamie : im Jamie and thats Coop...... so how you and Kiva know each other ?
(Y/n) : i just pointed the way to a store.....im feeling friendly today probaly since i need new friends since i just moved here

Coop returned holding the biggest bowl of icecream you ever seen that took about half of his table in, he sat down making the chair sqeeuk all it still held his weight as he sat down.
Coop : then welcome to town.
Kiva : Coop how much can you eat ?
Jamie : why keep asking ?
(Y/n) : i will be shocked if you actually can eat all that
Coop : oh then your gonna be in for a suprise

He smirked rubbing his hands together.

And so you met the team what started in a small talk and attempt to make friends ended up you becoming part of the team mostly you and Kiva spended time together as Coop and Jamie did something for their own all still you felt good with them you didn't mind Coop eating or Jamie flirting (its funny if he gets slapped) and Kiva was just amazing in your eyes.

Eventually they even showed you Megas nice enough to start taking you on a few adventures, at first you always would crawl into a ball in the back seat all right now you just cheered it on putting your trusts in Coop skills. Kiva also explained she was really from the furture and how mech excisted and why all the stuff you needed to know.

It was a great time for you, you liked the team and to you loved it to hangout all you never told your dad over Megas just that 'your working on it' all you were sure he was getting impatient. Right now you sat in the basement watching Coop play mortal Kombat against Jamie kicking Jamie ass while Kiva just sat in another chair working on something.

(Y/n) : ouch thats 6 times in a row Coop ever heard of showing mercy ?
Coop : not if its videogames

You shook your head with a small smile watching the next round with a smile something stealing glances at Kiva as out of nowhere your phone went in your pocket.
(Y/n) : be right back this is private
Coop : if you come back take some chips with you

You walked inside the garage knowing nobody could hear you here so you accepted the call speaking to your father.
Father : and boy is it them ?

Now this was a hard decision..... on on side you will save the city but betray your friends on the other hand you can keep this going only the city would lose a lot of money repairing it over and over but later might be saved from a alien invasion.. and you had to lie to your father.
(Y/n)....... you were wrong it ain't them
Father :... then my scearch continue but (y/n)... good work you made me and your country proud.

You sighed after the man hanged up as you stood in the empty garage wishing you didn't had to lie as a hand touched your shoulder making you jump spinning around to find Kiva behind you.
(Y/n) : Kiva i-i-i
Kiva : its okay (y/n) i knew along
(Y/n) : you did ?
Kiva : yup.... im a well trained pilot (y/n) i can notice when im being followed so when you were so nice i had my suspinion so i hacked into your phone and have been monitoring you ever since.

You lowered your head ashamed waiting for a punch or screaming only getting a finger on your chin making you look Kiva in the eyes.
Kiva : but after some time i understood you started to see us as actually friends and that our meeting had nothing to do with that bringing us in.... i know it was hard to lie and im not gonna lie this city hasn't seen his end of his own destruction by Coop clumsy but i promise at the end it will be for the best of humanity when we win the war.

You smiled happy she seemed to understand your goal and she still wanted to be friends with you.
Kiva : i won't tell Coop or Jamie since there is no need.... all i do want something in return
(Y/n) : what ?
Kiva : close your eyes

You did what she told you waiting for something to happen when your felt her arms wrap around your neck making your heart speed up when she suddenly pressed her lips on yours. You opended your eyes seeing Kiva with her own eyes closed kissing you on the lips her arms wrapped strong around your neck making no way of escape but you didn't even want to escape out of this gift.

You wrapped your own arm around Kiva waist holding one of her leg against your side as you two went from sweet lip locking to making out standing alone in the gargage as you and Kiva pressed your lips together taking small breaths then smashed your lips back together getting addicted to each other as 20 minutes passed before you two pulled away your faces as red as Kiva hair.
Kiva : well that was um..
(Y/n) : amazing (pecks her nose) i love you Kiva
Kiva : (smiles) i love you too (y/n)

She pressed her lips softly against yours closing her eyes glad to have met you.
