I woke up in a hospital and saw bandages all over me, I guess my last mission took a toll on me I looked to my right and saw my boss I nudge him awake which helps "[y/n], are you okay?" I looked at him a bit saddened "did I fail to protect them?" he shook his head I sighed in relief "they're fine but your body has taken lots of damage, rest for a few days a month if you want, just recover your health, and when you feel like going on a mission when you recover you know where to find me" he gave me a warm smile and walks towards the door but before he can leave he rushed to me and searched his pockets "I almost forgot, here a ticket for the Vocaloids concert" I tilted my head "Vocaloid?" he looked at me like I'm crazy "you never heard of Vocaloids?" I shook my head "they are famous band in japan" he showed me an image of them after that he gave me the ticket Vocaloid concert huh? this is gonna be interesting.

Timeskip

After a few days I was discharged at the hospital I had to wait for the concert, I was going for a coffee at (fav. Cafe) when I got there, I saw two persons at the counter they are wearing long coats with sunglasses and hats, I just shrugged it after them I ordered (Fav. drink) and (Fav. Snack) I then sat down at a nearby table I looked at my cellphone and got a text from my Boss

And with that I resume walking until I walked into an alley I saw two male harassing someone I couldn't get a good glimpse of them but I saw their hair it was somewhat teal kind of colored and the other pink I sigh and walk towards them luckily I wore a long (f/c) trench coat that went to my legs so no one can see that I carry a gun in case someone tried to mug me "LET US GO!!" "we'll let you go... just after we have 'fun'"the girls tried to scream but the males jut put their hands against their mouths "hey" the four looked at me "what? you got a problem" they snapped at me "you know it's not nice to harass the innocent" I said calmly "and what are you gonna do huh mr. Hero?" I looked at him straight in the eyes "I'm not a hero, I'm just a protector of the innocents"

he approached me and tried to punch the living daylights but I dodge it I sweep kicked him to make him fall and the other attempted to grab me from behind but I duck and strike his neck he was knocked out the other got up and he reached for a knife and make an attempt to stab me but I grab his wrist twisting it then grabbing his shoulder and pin him to the ground "don't get cocky idiot, I was trained to easily disarm my enemies" I took the knife from him and twist his arm some more he yelp in pain "give up?" I said in a cold voice "y-yes please" I let go of him and kicked him towards the two females "now what do we say?" he mumbled something so I kicked him again this time I heard a crack "can't hear you.." "WE'RE SORRY PLEASE FORGIVE US" I smile "good now get out of here" I demanded they comply I sighed before I walk away "hey" I turned around "thank you for saving us" I smile at them "no problem I was just walking by, I don't like anyone hurting innocent people, well I gotta go bye" one of them hold my shirt "may we ask your name?" "[y/n]" I then took my leave

*Miku's POV*

Me and Luka are talking about the guy that save us from the molester "Hey Miku-nee, Luka-nee" we saw Len and Rin running up to us "what taking you two so long?" Kaito approached us "hey give us a break, we were being molested" they were shock "WHERE ARE THEY I'M GONNA KILL THEM" Meiko exclaimed "don't worry someone came to our rescue" they all looked at us confused "where are they?" Rin ask "he already left" "so it's a guy that saved the both of you?" we nod "did you get the guys name?" we nod "his name is [y/n]" we heard someone gasp "did you just say [y/n]?" Rin ask us and nod "why do you know him?" Luka ask her "he is the famous mercenary that has taken missions that are quite hard for a normal person" we looked at them confused "in his last mission he protected a small village alone, and stop an organization, but at the heavy price" he showed us an video where he did some amazing feats "you two sure are a fan of him"

I looked at the twins "of course, protecting the weak even at the cost of his life he is our hero" now that I got a better look at him I felt heats rising on my cheeks I saw Luka did too Kaito smirk "looks like someone has fallen in love with the mercenary" we both retracted back "I always wonder why he always cover one of his eye" Rin ask us "Well I watched one of the interview that is the same question as you sis, he said he had his reasons" Len said to his sister Then Meiko stepped it "okay let's go and prepare remember we still have a concert" we nod I wonder if he has heard of us I smile at this.

*3rd Person's POV*

You are now at the gate of the concert you were surprise that there many people here good thing you boss had a VIP ticket so that you can see clearly the concert is starting and the Vocaloids are getting out the crowd cheered louder and you saw a familiar hair color then it hit you 'so it's those two?' after a while they saw you and smile you couldn't help but smile back 'he smiled at me' Miku in her thoughts while singing , but then the music suddenly stop everyone including you, are confused 'is the concert over already?' you heard gunshots the crowd panicked and exited the building except you "My, my what lovely ladies we have here? I'm gonna have my time wrecking you bitches" you couldn't help it the weak are in trouble "LET THEM GO" you saw all the Vocaloids tied up they were relieved to see your face "so the famous mercenary came to try and save them?" "I'm not trying to save them..." all of the Vocaloids stares at you shock but you continue

"I'm going to save them" you ran to one of them and disarm their gun the other four pointed their gun at you, you used the man's gun to shoot their gun right off their arms, one by one you knocked them all out, the only one left is their leader "give it up" he laughs maniacally he draws his weapon a long-sword 'damn I didn't bring my weapon with me' but a helicopter blade can be heard and you saw your boss "BOSS!?" he smile at you "I heard you are in trouble so i brought your 'friend'" you smile at he brought your weapon, he throws it to you, when you caught it you went into a stance "let's dance" both of you clash at each other swing after swing blade against blade neither of you are giving an inch, you felt your wounds reopening you barely dodge the blade which made a scratch on your cheek you were breathing heavily "[y/n]!! use it I'll allow it" you heard your boss scream the vocaloids stare at you boss "what do you mean?" he looked at them "the reason why he always covers, his eye, using that eye causes too much strain, just watch closely you will witness why he is feared by many thugs" all eyes are on you as you raise your hair that is covering your said eye it had a cross shaped scar but when you open them they saw a crimson eye "so you think an eye can beat me!!?" he charges at you but you slash him fast which surprised him "This eye of mine when I use it my perception of time slows down" you smile and slash him again repeatedly not giving him a chance to attack, he was knocked out due to severe blood loss, you looked at them only top be surprised that your crimson eye is bleeding, and cover it up you stab your sword in the ground to balance you but was useless you blacked out the last thing that you've heard "[y/n]!!"

You woke up, you are in the hospital.... again you tried to get up but fail you felt pressure on one of your hand and saw the Teal-haired girl or Miku sleeping you nudge her awake she slowly opens her eyes and stretch "nyeeeh, good morning [y/n]" she pause for a minute "[y/n]!!" she hug you minding your wounds you hug back "I WAS SO WORRIED!!" she hit you repeatedly on the chest gently calling you an idiot risking your life for that you pat her head "you don't have to worry about me" you gave her a warm smile that only cause her to cry even more "of course I do I LOVE YOU" that makes your eyes wide "you love me?" she nods and blush "Please don't... do anything stupid again, I cannot imagine a world without you here" before you could say anything she kissed you softly, you eventually melted into it "I love you,[y/n]" "I love you too"

After that incident you and Miku became a couple, all of the Vocaloids and your boss are happy for you two you promised to yourself to protect her with you life.
