Houki, Charles and Cecilia were walking towards the Arena, they met Laura along the way "why do we have to go to the arena?" Laura ask the three "because miss Orimura said that a new student will be tested" Houki Raises an Eyebrow "well, let's just hope that she is strong..." Charles look at her "it's not a girl" Cecilia look at her "so it's a guy?" she ask "yeah, Ichika said that 'I will be fighting him tomorrow' so in conclusion he's fighting a guy"

Cecilia: i thought Ichika is the only male who can pilot an IS

Houki: that's what I thought too

Laura: well, we better hurry then

They all nod and went to the Arena as one of the audience

Announcer: good morning everyone, today we will be having an exhibition match between Ichika Orimura and the new student [y/n] Arcadia from the Atismata empire"

the crowd cheered as Ichika went out, they are all excited what the new student look like, this time you enter the arena all of them jawdrop at your (h/c) locks and (e/c) orbs and for the fact that you have two swords one that is white and blue and the other Black and red themes, you and Ichika went and shake hands "good luck out there" you nod

Announcer: fighter equip your machines!!

He equips his machine and the crowd focus on you, you grab the hilt of your white sword, and draw the blade twirling it a little blue flames surrounds you and take shape of a winged creature

Then came a blue and white themed machine with a sword the crowed look at you with wide eyes

Houki: is that even an IS?

???: not it isn't

They look at the source of the voice and it was from Chifuyu

Chifuyu: that is a Drag-ride

Chifuyu: yes they are a powerful machines created long ago said to combat monsters, it is an ancient artifact that is said that is even stronger than an IS...

Cecilia: they look similar to our IS to a certain extent

Chifuyu: yes, Tabane took those as an Inspiration to the IS, unlike the IS a drag-ride consumed the energy of the user should they run out of stamina, the drag-ride will go berserk it's a double edge blade... [y/n] Arcadia they say that he is a prodigy in piloting those

Cecilia: what about the other sword?

They all refocus on your match, you equip your gun and shoot at Ichika which he blocks it with his sword, you charge at him and attack which is a direct hit, you aim at his hand which has his sword you charge and shoot it disarming him with several direct hit his IS shield is 0, thus declaring you the winner

You deactivated your Wyvern and you thank Ichika for a wonderful match he smiled "I got a feeling we're gonna be pretty good friends..." he grins and you smile... Unknown to you a silver haired girl with an eye patch was staring at you while blushing they all look at her and grin mischievously "hey Laura, do you have a crush on the new guy?" She just went red and walked away

Meanwhile, You just went out of the changing room you bumped into someone which coincidentally is Laura "oop sorry miss..." she looked at you and smiled "Laura Bodewig" you nod "nice to meet you, i guess you know who i am" she nods "well i gotta go bye Laura..." you were about to leave but she grab your hand "what is it?"

Laura: come with me to class...

[y/n]: why?

Laura: I'll just have something to tell them

She drag you to her class they all squealed seeing your cute face "it's the new guy!!!" "yay is he in our class?" "I HOPE SO!!" but before they could hug you, Laura reeled you in and your lips meet with hers, your eyes went wide when she pulled away she looked at the entire class

Laura: from now on he is my wife, and I will not accept any objection

Whole Class: EEEEEEEHHHHHH!?!?!?!?!?!?

It's been a week since you and Laura started dating, at first it was uncomfortable but you eventually came to reciprocate her feelings it was another day at the academy you and Laura walked hand in hand, suddenly an explosion happened in the courtyard you look at the window and saw what made all of you eyes wide an army of machines similar to your Wyvern

All of the girls started panicking "everyone clam down" Chifuyu said to them "Arcadia, do you think you can handle an army?" you looked down and eventually look at her "I'll try"

You went outside and equip your Wyvern "hah! this school just put their hopes to one machine PATHETIC!!!" he shoots at you but you dodge it and shoot at random enemy, when they have you cornered but a blast went to them and destroyed a few of them "what!?" you all look at the source and saw Laura with her IS "YOU BITCH!!" the leader charge at Laura Slicing her IS and she is forced to deactivate

Just as soon as Laura was defenseless the leader raises his sword preparing to end her, she closed her eyes and prepares to meet her fate but it didn't came, she slowly opened her eyes, and saw you grabbing his sword, he forced it slicing your machine's hand, you shoot at him to cover some distance you then deactivated your Wyvern and went to Laura "hey are you okay?" she smile softly and nod before going unconscious you look at her carefully and saw blood coming from her sides, probably from the slice

Rage boils inside you, you saw Ichika and the others run up to you "What happened to Laura?"

[y/n]: she got sliced...

Houki: this is not looking good for us

[y/n]: Ichika... take care of Laura for me

You gave her to Ichika

Ichika: what are you gonna do?

[y/n]: I'm gonna fight them... alone

Cecilia: what your machine is damage, you can't possibly be serious!?!?!?

You look at her with a dead serious expression she was taken aback as well as the other "everyone, please stay back" the hesitated but comply, you grab your other sword and unsheathe it, Red flames rage and take for that of a powerful winged creature

[y/n]: Manifest, Feast on the blood of the gods, Dragon of death.... Sever the black Clouds of Heaven!! Bahamut!!

In a flash what everyone saw shocked them a black and red themed machine came out and you were equipping it

Leader: n-no, way!!.... The Jet-Black Divine Drag Ride!! that's impossible!!

With just a few moments his army dropped rapidly, with such speed you destroyed the entire army with ease

Meanwhile at the IS, Ichika and everyone watched the battle unfold

Chifuyu: about time he use that sword

Ichika: Big sis?

Chifuyu: that there is a Divine Drag-ride his is one of the most difficult to master, Bahamut, compared to the Wyvern, Bahamut is in leagues above any Drag-rides

Back to you, the leader recognize you

Leader: you are... [y/n] Arcadia... NO HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO US... YOU ARE SUPPOSE TO BE A HERO!!

[y/n]: Reload on Fire

Leader: I'll kill you!!!!

With a flash you disappear and reappear, the leader's Machine was destroyed

You deactivated Bahamut and rush to Laura's side "how is she?" you look at them, "she will be fine it's not fatal" you sighed in relief

Laura: thank you for taking care of me [y/n]

[y/n]: hey I wouldn't be a good husband... er wife if I don't take care of you

She blushed and smile, she leaned in and plant a kiss on your lips, you kissed her back, when you both pulled away you put your forehead against her "I love you [y/n]" she smiled "I love you too, now get some rest" she nods and close her eyes, you swore to yourself that you will protect her
