3RD POV

Y/N originally wasn't going to get "Sword Art Online" but with some convincing from his childhood friend Asuna, he ended up getting the game with her. It wasn't long before they learned the horrifying truth. If they lose the game they lose their sou....life they lose their life.

Y/N's POV

Asuna and I were fighting the boss of the 35th floor which was a giant Knight Chess Piece the room was made to resemble a chessboard, he only had a tiny bit of health left as I slash my blade through him, he began to crumble to dust. We both gain EXP, since I got the last hit a bonus item called "Witch King's Blade" dropped. I check the description of the sword.

Asuna: What did you get Y/N?

Y/N: "Witch King's Blade".

Asuna: Never heard of it. What can it do?

I tapped on the icon and was met with a message from the madman who trapped us here.

Y/N: *Reading* "Wow you find it? Congrats this is the last item I will be adding in, now that all of the bugs are surely fix. I made this item broken and you know why? Because I don't care anymore enjoy your broken one of a kind ax or whatever I am going to get some much-needed sleep. Many hugs, Kayaba. <3

Asuna: Broken? Try equipping it.

I selected the sword but it didn't seem like anything too special it was just a rusty iron greatsword as I was holding it a new skill popped up.

Exclusive Skill Unlocked - "Grand Fear": Whenever Witch King's Blade is equipped any enemy and non-party member are unable to fight back and only able to run away in fear. [This skill can only be unlocked by the original wielder, Player/Name]

(Asuna's) New Skill: When you are in a Party with P/N you are unaffected by "Grand Fear".

Y/N: This can't be real...can it?

Asuna: If it is, it's our ticket out of here!

Time-skip

We might as well kill two birds with one stone and take care of a quest on the 23rd floor dealing with the werebears. After walking for nearly two hours and not seeing anything, we were about to call it quits. When I notice one of them running past some trees.

Y/N: Found one!

Asuna: Let's go before it can get away.

We ended up chasing the werebear to the edge of a high cliff. He had no place left to run as we move closer, the bear looked at me before looking at the cliff before jumping. I looked over at Asuna, who was at a loss for words just like me.

Y/N: I guess it really does work.

Asuna: Yeah, I guess so.

I lifted her up and spun her around. As we were both laughing and cheering.

Y/N: We are getting out of here!

Asuna: *Blushes* We are free!

Timeskip 3rd POV

It has been two weeks since Y/N formed the Fear Guild. This guild was filled with some of the best players allowing the remaining players to just fall back and let his guild handed beating the game. In those two weeks, they worked non-stop to clear 29 more floors. Y/N decided to give the guild a break to regain their strength. There was one more thing he wanted to do before this nightmare would end.

Y/N's POV

I was waiting for Asuna on one of the balconies of our Guild's Castle.

Asuna: Hey Y/N, I got your letter. You said you had something very important to tell me?

Y/N: *Smiles*Yeah, there is something I been wanting to tell you for a while, even before this game.

Asuna: *Smiles* What is it?

Y/N: Asuna, I love you,

Asuna ran up to me wrapping her arms around me.

Asuna: I love you too, Y/N! I wasn't sure if you felt the same so I never said anything.

We shared a kiss more determined than ever to get out of this mess.

Y/N: How about before we beat this game, let's get married.

Asuna: Yeah, let's.
